Davis Repair was willing to do a major gasket repair on my Saab which a lot of mechanics were shying away from. This is my favorite car Ive owned and Davis Repair made sure the repair was the highest quality it could be. Ive never experienced such friendly service and quality work and a passion for quality work from any other mechanic! I will definitely be making Davis Repair the mechanic I stop by when my car needs something!

I am a customer service hound. I expect it, and I like it. I search for it constantly. Its what keeps the economy going, and sadly, its lacking in many, if not most businesses these days. BUT, Davis Repair has absolutely impeccable customer service. I have never been treated more cordially and respectfully from any business. They offered me a loaner with no questions asked; they gave me a detailed report after conducting a complimentary analysis of what work needed to be done on my car. The analysis even detailed why each repair was recommended, and what it would do for the car. The two young women in the front office were kind, gentle and very accommodating. They got my car in as promptly as their schedule allowed and fielded my persistent phone calls with patience and graciousness. I called to ask what kind of gas I should put in the loaner car, and I was told not to be concerned about refilling the tank. Then I asked if I could pick up the car a day early, they didnt bat an eyelash and had the car completed by the time I arrived, shortly before their closing. I was floored by their exceptional work the mechanics did on my car and the short time it took to repair the vehicle. Because my car is an older model Saab it would not be abnormal to have to wait for parts to complete the job, but my car was in and out in a little more than 24 hours. Im a difficult critic, because as noted above, I search long and wide for good work and impeccable customer service. Davis Repair has both-in abundance.

Davis repair is wonderful! We have gone to them for years for all of our cars and found that they have always been prompt, reasonably priced, and straight shooters. We drive older cars and focus on safety type repairs- they always explain what can wait, for how long, price estimate, etc versus what is a safety item that needs to be done immediately. Always so flexible with our schedule- over the years they have let us drop off and pick up our cars after hours, given us a ride back to our office when we had to drop it off in the day, and even picked our car up to get a light off the dashboard that didn’t get fully reset initially. They always go above and beyond. Nice to have a place you can trust your vehicles are in good hands with.

I cannot say enough about Davis repair. They have helped me with my 3 old cars for the last several years. They always give excellent, balanced advice, and the repairs are always well done. I am so happy with them. Hannah and Katie are super well informed and help me to make realistic decisions for my older cars. My private mechanic was all booked up until late summer. I had issues that needed to be fixed quickly, so I searched around. I saw that Davis Repair had good reviews so I thought I would give them a shot. I thought their service was great. The repairs I had done easily could’ve taken a shop like pep boys a month to get around to was taken care of in 3 business days, with one of them being the day I dropped off the vehicle. They went above and beyond getting the parts that I needed for the modified vehicle I have and I really appreciated that. The problem I had is fixed, they gave a warranty on the work, and completed the work quickly. I will definitely be coming back to Davis Repair for any sort of automotive troubles I have. They also provide transprtation for you while you are waiting for your car to be done- which provides convenience for your day to continue as normal. Im extremely disappointed with my most recent (6/21/21) service at Davis Repair. I had asked for my 4Runner to be looked over as I was going on a road trip and planning to go off roading.Imagine my surprise, horror, and panic when I realized at the top of the off road pass, in the middle of nowhere and with no cell phone service, that my front passenger tires tread was very worn and that no one saw fit to mention this to me when I picked up my car from Davis.This is the second time something has been missed when Ive specifically asked for an inspection prior to going on a trip and off roading. The first time was the rear brakes needing to be replaced.I have frankly lost confidence in Davis Repair to keep me, my family, and my vehicle safe.

Today we took our Mazda CX-5 in for an oil change. We had been taking it to the Mazda dealer, but the warranty just expired. It was $15 cheaper for the oil change at Davis. Also, they did not automatically change the air filter and charge us for it like the dealer does. Instead, when we went to pick up the car, they said we would probably need a new air filter next time. We have been taking our cars to Davis for years. Both my husband and I think it is the best auto repair shop in the metro area, and we’ve been to a lot of auto repair shops as we have lived in the metro area for forty years. We highly recommend Davis for any auto repair and maintenance needs.

I am new to Colorado and brining my car from a warm state, it was not prepared for the cold weather. I had went to a random place I found on Yelp, went there and they made me feel really pressured to do a bunch of stuff that didn’t sound correct. I declined and the next day I found Davis Repair! I called them, explained to them what happened and they told me to come by. The ladies in the front are extremely kind and professional. I am extremely happy I found a “neighborhood “ feel of a business I can take my car to be repaired. Especially being new in the state. Thank you, I will be back!

I used Davis Repair in the past- have spent a few thousand here. I’ve been trying to get a quote for some additional work. They have currently ignored my 2 phone requests and 1 online request over about 3-4 weeks now. It’s unfortunate because they have done good work for me but I now have to take my business elsewhere because I would like my car fixed. I’ll go with the shop who found the problem and gave me a quote in a few minutes.

It was my first experience with this repair shop, and I was overwhelmed with how welcoming the staff was. The technicians were able to give me a run down of what was wrong with my vehicle, and gave me affordable prices for those repairs. It’s definitely a business I will continue to support!

I went in for an oil change on a very snowy day. Due to the state of the world right now, their waiting room is closed. But they had a great CLEAN snow capable loaner vehicle ready for me. The oil change and vehicle inspection were done in less than an hour and they texted me to let me know I could return to pick up my car. I feel very fortunate to have an honest repair shop who is also good at what they do and excels in customer service so close to my home. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my experience and now they have a life-long customer.

Someone recommended this place and we were happy with our service. They did a nice job communication via text, email, and phone. We dropped off our van on Sunday afternoon and it was ready to be picked up by Tuesday. Prices seemed fair and they seemed to be honest about what needed to be done vs what could wait to be done till later (our van is a 2006).

I’ve been coming to Davis Auto for 9 years. It’s pretty cool you can talk cars with Hannah and she knows her stuff. They never try to up sell you, for instance we could have done my brakes this time and she we can just wait until next oil change. The top reason I go is because they will let you drop it off and they will give you a ride back to work. Sometimes Larry the owner will give you a ride and you can talk cars with him, that’s pretty cool if you ask me.

Mixed reviews after years of business here. After some good experiences, we were disappointed to find out that after taking our RAV4 into Davis multiple times that there was a simple recall that Davis never checked for and never told us about that fixed the issue we spent thousands of dollars at Davis repair trying to fix. Overall should have been a simple process checking for recalls, yet they chose to ignore the recall and do other work they said was causing the problem. once we took it to a proper dealership, they looked up the recall and fixed it for almost nothing and the problem was gone right away.

This is the most professional place I have taken my car to. They were never pushy about anything and were nothing but a pleasure to work with. Although they didn’t end up doing any repairs on my car (because it wasn’t messing up for them) they didn’t charge me a cent. They also gave me a free rental car to use in the meantime. My fiancé was out of town and I had nobody to help me, but they made it so easy. I will 1000% come back to here.

I had a great experience with Davis Repair. They were professional and transparent. I didn’t have to repeat the work I wanted done on the phone and then again in person, and they followed-up with all of it after completing the work in a timely fashion. They also provide transportation if you would rather not wait for the repairs to be finished which I appreciated it. Their prices seemed fair and reasonable. Additionally, I was treated with respect and spoken to politely and did not feel taken advantage of, which is a frequent occurrence for women getting car repairs. I’ll definitely return for routine oil changes and/or future repairs, as well as send my other female friends their way.

I’ve been taking our vehicles into Davis Repair for 20 years. There’s a reason they are top-rated. They are honest, efficient, and excellent at what they do. In the past I’ve taken a vehicle in for what I thought would be an expensive repair until they diagnosed the real problem and it cost much less. The most recent repair was an alternator that had failed and they replaced it within a day and here’s the great part: Davis Repair had installed an alternator on the same vehicle 7 months ago and as we all know parts can go bad, and it failed. This time they replaced it for $0 out-of-pocket, yes that’s right - I didn’t pay a thing! They warranty their repairs for 2 years!! Who does that? Davis Repair does. I can’t recommend them enough. Last of all they keep you informed via text messages and send a link to a web page with your vehicle’s diagnostic report, complete with results, recommendations and pictures!I hope someone in need of repair reads this review and takes their vehicle to Davis. Yes, it’s not fun when a vehicle breaks down and you have to pay to fix it but when it does happen you want to find someone good, reasonable, honest, dependable, with a great warranty and to know your vehicle is in the right hands.

This shop is second to none. SO good and SO professional while being super friendly. I had an alternator mounting bolt that broke off in my cylinder head while trying to change out my alternator. I had my van towed there and figured the next step would be taking it to the junkyard. But for 1/10th of the price Honda asked, they were able to get me on the road in a matter of hours! I will never take any of my vehicles to another location for any and all services.

Davis Auto repair has been an awesome experience every time! I will never take my cars anywhere else. Yesterday I have a dead battery. I bought the car at Carmax along with their 5-yr extended warranty. The battery was new - only 10 mos old. Carmax told me they would have to charge me around $40.00 + tax. I immediately contacted Davis Repair since I have been there before and they are a preferred Repair Pal shop. I talked to Katie who was very friendly and professional. She told me to bring my car in they would gladly fully charge my battery for free. I left my car overnight. Today when I picked it up, the battery was fully charged as promised and there was no charge just like Katie stated over the phone. I cant say enough about Davis Repair! They are the most honest and professional auto repair shop I have ever found in my life. I highly recommend them to anybody who needs their vehicle repaired. Davis Repair blew me away! New to Englewood, relative helped me move and while he was here his truck broke down. Davis Repair had the best reviews and so he took his truck to get fixed there. It got his truck fixed in a day. So I thought after my relative left, I’ll take my truck (that I admittedly abuse) into Davis Repair for some TLC. I got an Uber scheduled so when I dropped my truck off it would be ready. I got there and the first thing Katie asked me was do you need a ride. Honestly, I didn’t know how to respond I was so thrilled. Cancelled the Uber which wasn’t going to show up until 5 mins after my Lyft picked me up. I got the estimate after I got home and it was expensive, but that’s because they did a 27 point inspection 🧐 (because i asked for a professional opinion of any repairs). Of course, all of the great stuff they did was going to take until the next afternoon to repair. From out of town when my truck began misfiring on I-25. Got code saying turbobooster problem and saw dollar signs. Had no idea where to take it, but found Davis Repair online and near me with like 400 5 Star reviews. Owning a small family business with like reviews, it was a no brainer for where to take a chance. Davis Repair lived up to reviews in service and price. Ended up being broken spark plug misfiring (knew I needed a tune up) and also authorized broken right front caliper, rotors and pads replaced on front (also knew I needed). $1350 for all work which I considered honest and fair. Will recommend daughter and boyfriend, who just moved to Denver from Colorado Springs use Davis for any and all car repairs. Thanks Guys!

This was my first time bringing my vehicle here. I had been having trouble finding a good trust worthy repair shop this year and had spent thousands in the process. Dave’s repair was reasonable, prompt, helpful and my vehicle was returned to me repaired properly and cleaned. They now have a customer for life. I’d recommend this repair shop to everyone.

This is by far the best experience Ive had at a mechanic. I went to get a used vehicle inspected and when i went in they were extremely nice! After they finished up they provided me with a detailed report and sent me a digital report with pictures of everything wrong with the car. My regular experience with auto shops is receiving a clogged up receipt that is hard to read or even not detailed enough to know what the problem is.Davis repair makes a point to be as clear as possible and the people at the front desk know what they are talking about.100% would recommend!!!

My van was very overdue for some TLC. I had taken it to a Shop for years but eventually got tired of an $800 bill every time I went for an oil change. My power steering pump went out and I was quoted prices higher than the dealership would charge. Something was wrong. I waited to find some I trusted. I went on next door and everyone was raving about Davis auto repair. I took it to them. Not only did they fix the power steering well but they did a ton if other work in just a couple of days. During that time they gave me a loaner car, this was a first for me. I had to pick it up after hours and the key drop system was so easy! I had a hard time finding my van in the street because I had dropped it off very dirty planning to get it detailed after it was fixed. I could barely find it as they had cleaned it so well, inside and out. I never even asked or expected that kind of care. I’m very happy to have find a new home for my vehicles to be cared for. JULY-2021-I am bummed to write this review, but feel that I had to only because if you look through my reviews you will see that almost all of them are positive, nearly all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as I really appreciate quality work--I will start by saying I will go back, one poor experience does not define the business, just like one cancelled flight doesnt mean you write off the airline forever. Daves is a good shop. This review is only based on my most recent experience. I left my truck there to be looked at--the check engine light was coming on and I was getting a low power mode warning. They had the truck for over 2 weeks. I had another vehicle to drive, so it didnt put me out, but that was a long time. Their only assessment was to replace the radiator for $1,000. I asked to speak to the mechanic. They hadnt really assessed the problem, stated the radiator seemed blocked and never drove the vehicle long enough to have the warning light trigger (which was taking about 10 minutes of highway driving). I get it, they were busy. I did get them to drive it again from their shop off Arapahoe to Ridgegate and the warning went off. The response was 🤷‍♀️ you should replace the radiator, it seems to have a partial block and that is unfixable, it must be replaced. I came and got the truck, took it to Grease Monkey and had a radiator flushed for $100. (Couldnt Daves had tried that?) and have driven it for a month now, including several trips on the highway with no warning light. I have waited weeks to write this to make sure the radiator flush was helpful--it still might not be the ultimate solution, but 🤞 seems to have worked so far. I am only writing this now because I was writing another review. I dont like the reviews immediately after a purchase where people love it but sure they do--they just got it. I like to hear from people 6 months, a year later--do you love it now? If tomorrow I get in my truck and it Sh+ts the bed, I will add to this review. For now it was simply a swing and a miss. I think they were too busy to genuinely assess my needs. I gave them ⭐⭐ because I couldnt give them ⭐ they are too good of a shop. Scroll down, they receive a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review earlier. I bet they will again. But this time they missed.JANUARY 2021--I have gone to Davis Repair on several occasions. Sometimes my cars needed fixing, sometimes they did not. The idea that I can go to someone trustworthy that will share what is needed and not lie or upsell is reassuring. I have always had a good experience there and will continue using them, a locally owned family business, until I dont own a car. :-)

You are going to pay a little more than your average shop, but there is a reason for that. 1). I’ll pay a little extra ANY DAY for a mechanic that is honest. 2) They have outstanding customer service.I had my thermostat replaced and they mentioned that my auxiliary water pump may go soon. I declined to have it fixed as I didn’t want to spend the money. Sure enough, a week later, I heard some weird noises while driving. Sure enough it leaked a bunch of water and then eventually almost over heated. I assumed it was the pump and didn’t give it much thought. I dropped it off, and got a call later that afternoon that my radiator cap had ruptured so there was no coolant. They replaced it and said I was good to go. They only charged me for the part and the fluid, no labor. Now I had told them I knew the pump had gone and to go ahead and order one. A lot of mechanics would have taken advantage and I would be none the wiser. Do yourself a favor and take your ride to Davis Repair.

My 08’ Sable was getting loud and the performance was lagging. I took it over to Davis Repair and they had it diagnosed as an exhaust leak where a stud attaching the exhaust had broken off and would need to be repaired. I asked for an estimate and instead they gave me a recommendation for a muffler shop to do the work. Hannah explained that they could do it, but they would be more expensive and the muffler shop might be able to do a repair versus a replacement. As a 1st time customer I was blown away with their integrity and honesty. I went to Davis Repair to get a full body inspection on my car before my road trip. They recommended getting an oil change and transmission flush, which I had done at a different shop because it was $100 cheaper.About a week later, my car started making this noise when I would break. Unfortunately I was in a small mountain town and had to wait to get into a city to find service. They inspected my brakes and immediately saw that I had 1 mm left on my brakes and it was about to start grinding on my rotors. Additionally, they showed me my rotors and they were completely rusted and needed to be replaced.Davis Repair said NOTHING about me needing to have my front brake pads or rotors replaced immediately. This is definitely something that should have been caught during the full body inspection.

They did a very good job took me in at opening let me know halfway through the day via text my vehicle is ready any issues they had they let me know by text whether I approve or disapprove very good business very professional courteous something you dont see in a lot of places anymore this one showed it I would recommend this to family and friends

I highly recommend Davis repair! My car ended up having a combination of issues which took 2 months to fix. They gave me a loaner car to use from day 1. They kept me updated on the progress of repairs and they worked directly with the extended warranty carrier. In the end I got a new engine, and my car is running perfectly!

In a recent visit, I was told by a Toyota Dealership service center O needed new brakes asap.I took it to David who gave me an honest assessment which they did. Did I need new brakes asap? No, but will in about 3K miles. Honest high quality service.

First class service for my aging truck. Hannah was super friendly and her team made sure the diagnosis was accurate and then kept my truck until they were confident things were fixed. It was a very safe interaction from a COVID standpoint, they had a car available for me to use to go home. The most important thing is that they continue to demonstrate why they are the best shop in the area. I completely trust them to do things right the first time and to only do the repairs that are necessary as they didnt give me a long list of repairs not associated with the issue that I brought my truck in for.

I’ve been going to these guys for a year now. The gals at the front are always so helpful and courteous. The crew never tries to take advantage of you, they are honest. The raptors have always been within a timely manner.On top of taking car of your car they provide coffee, candy, biscotti and magazines to read while you wait. Then if you need to get somewhere (within reason) they get you an Uber. Need to leave your car late they have a lockbox they use to put your key inOverall I’m so happy I’ve found an honest and trustworthy mechanic and the customer service is next level.
