Great place to shop for clothes. They always have some kind of sale happening.

JCPenney, you have no idea what the you’re doing anymore. I am so disappointed in this brand. It used to be the store that I would go to for anything. Why you may ask, well this is my story.My stepson purchased a seemingly good watch for Father’s Day for me. Unfortunately it broke within a week. I went back to JCPenney to either get it refunded or exchanged. They explained to me that the only option was to send it off to get it repaired. I understood and agreed and let them take the watch and I waited patiently. Four weeks later, I received a phone call that the watch was back from the repair shop. When I got to JCPenney, they had no idea where the watch was. It took about 30 minutes and somebody else came down and informed me that the watch was not repairable and that they were going to refund me the “value” that my stepson paid. Come to find out, they only would refund me the retail price of the watch, but would not include the tax. On top of that, they refunded me in a “merchandise return voucher”. Who wrote this illegal and unfair policy. I really could give a darn about $4 in tax, but it’s the principle of this unfair borderline fraudulent policy and the fact that their process is completely messed up. If they’re going to sell a product, then they need to stand behind it. And if their product doesn’t work, they need to refund the total amount plus tax because that’s what was paid. And then to refund me with a merchandise return voucher is just ludicrous. I don’t ever want to shop there ever again. Their brand is completely tarnished and has been going downhill for years. Either get out of the business, or fix it. JC Penney it’s time to wake up!!

A great selection of clothes. Alot of clearance racks but need to get more sizes for women that are in plus sizes. But all together a great place to shop.

The products are great but not all employees are because I believe they are on the jobs out of necessity verses enjoying what they do. However, the females in Sephora seemed to enjoy their line of employment. However the other department only appeared to be doing employment. Good or Great Customer services are hard to find in these days or times. Hopeful more employees that love their jobs will be hired.

I love J C Penney, I love the lady that works in the store. She is a wonderful person. A black lady works at the front of the store. A WONDERFUL person.

Just starting to look a little sad...worn fixtures...Les than optimum lighting etc. Still a good place to shop.

The nail tech I had today was very rude. She got upset because I didnt like a fly design she put on my nails and got up and started talking about me. She didnt finish my nails. I am not a hard person to please but to put a bug design on my nails oh and the word Gucci... no ugly. So I ended up leaving without a design.

Visit short and simple they take care of you

Came in to return some items that I bought online. Was in & out in no time & the cashier was super nice.

I ran into a sale there today and wow!!! I got a dress 👗 originally priced $70 and a pair of nice pants for work originally priced $49. All together after sales and discounts were applied I paid $38! The clothes I bought are very nice of good quality. The lady at the register was really nice and friendly. The one working on the floor was friendly without being over bearing. I would say this was a great trip!

Terrible, I was treated white from black Associates . I have always treated people with respect no matter what color. Just sad that this world has got so evil & have additives that they are owed something. I never got nothing for being white. Why do black people think they are owed something.

I shopped here on 10.24.19. Let me be the first to tell you the entire experience was dreadful. I have shopped this store many times but this new wave of customer service is not working. I waited about 30 or so for a price check and even then they came back with some made up price. I asked them if I can see where they got the price and all they could same from a similar item. I’m not in customer service but I’m sure you should have been able to show me the price for the time I was going to purchase. Then I was about to pay and noticed one of them had marked on the shirt. When I asked about it the cashier in a nasty voice said I didn’t to it. The manager proceeds to say I can give you 10% off and that’s it with rudeness as if I did something wrong. Horrible customer service and experience! Shop online to avoid the hassle or pick better stores ppl!

My one star was the result of an poor experience I received while getting my hair done today at the salon. My stylist Janis, AWESOME by the way. My horrible experience was as I was in her chair, a woman with two men came into the salon, stood 3 feet from where I was getting my hair done and yet did not great me.. The three continued their conversation about wallpapering the salon and store. While one might not think much of this it was after I greeted the men by saying Good Morning gentleman 3 times did I get a response by one of them. The woman, I was informed later name was Sharon who never spoke or apologized for being rude. Since Ive come to NC and Ive visited the store ive had nothing but outstanding customer service by Janis who did my hair a day prior to my wedding. Then a lovely young lady Britney, who helped me find dresses after the wedding. Spoke to a wonderful man who took great pride while washing the windows as i walked in the store. (I know 1st hand about doing that job). Had a long conversation with a woman in the mens department and bonded with about moving from NJ. Never did I ever feel this disrespected in the store. When I called to make this complaint I found Sharon is the store manager. One bad apple, leading an awesome crew, how long will it take before that example become EXPOSED!!

Hadnt been in a long time. Had to return a gift but found a beautiful inexpensive dress on clearance that was very elegant in exchange. Then after looking in 4 other stores for a classy red pair of shoes and couldnt find anything, I found a beautiful and very reasonably priced pair here!!!!!!

JC Penner is a store inside the mall in Greenville NC mall. I ordered most of my Christmas gifts online. I needed to exchange for a different size. I thought this would be horrible. It wasnt. The customer service desk handled everything. It took less than a week.

Matt king is a great asset to the JC penny corporation. He was so helpful and a delight to deal with. Thank you Matt for making my shopping experience so pleasant.

They have a good sale today, but I had trouble finding someone to help me. No one was in house wares. Ended up not buying curtains because I couldnt find them.

It was the largest JC Penney I have ever been to, it was very neat a d clean....not cluttered. The staff was very helpful. I will make this JC Penney my future place for shopping.

Not feeling Sephora today. Received a notice I had a birthday gift. Well, (July 27th) is my birthday, today is August 31st, okay. I was told I could not get the gift, not because it was 30 days over. No I was told you have to pick it up in the month of your birthday. Go figure... I still bought some makeup because I wanted it. But keep your petty gift shams to yourself. Im good over here. Great place to get my grandkids clothes!

Got a terrible haircut here. The woman freehand the back of my hair with the clippers giving me an uneven cut. Did not get anywhere close to what I asked for and what she did do was uneven and missed entire sections. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and the cut baffled the other stylist as to logic and technique. I will never go back here and I dont recommend anyone else does either.

The company has made many attempts to keep JC Penney relevant. The redesigned layout of the store and the new merchandise has been helpful and looks nice. Prices can be a little too high and you can easily find better clothing elsewhere.

Love JC Penneys! Bought a lot of awesome merchandise at awesome prices. The only complaint I have is that I am handicapped and I get around on a scooter. It is a new one and is smaller but even so I could not get through many of their aisles and had to go around or ask for help to keep from knocking things over. Some aisles you could barely even walk down. Also, the handicapped entrance does not have handicapped accessible doors. Very difficult to get in if you do not have someone with you to help hold the doors.

Shopping was pleasant there today. My wife found what she needed & was satisfied. So, therefore, I as the husband is a happy camper.

Im totally satisfied with my visit today! I got great assistance from Gloria & Andrea. I brought AZ Vee shirts for less than half the price with coupon.

I had no problem finding what I wanted. But, trying to find someone to check me out took awhile.

The shopping and sales prices were good. However at checkout the women at checkout was totally unfriendly and rude from the start. I had a gift card and you would have thought i ruined her day by using it because it required me having to enter a long number as well as the pin number. I thought as a sales associate she would have taken care of that. She rudely gave me instructions to complete the transaction. Her name was Sheila and if i go into the store again i will avoid her at checkout time.
