The check engine light would come on and go off. Could not get a diagnosis for a very long time. FINALLY got one at Sunrise in Fountain Inn. They recommended Mr Transmission. Toyota RAV4 2003 with less than 53000 miles. Would not go in hi gear. They had to replace the transmission. It’s done. I’m pleased.The check engine light came on after the work was done. They had to replace the transmission again. It took some time. Today is August 28, the check engine light is back on. NOT VERY PLEASED NOW!

I took my 1999 Jeep Wrangler in a while back with some brake issues. Mr. Transmission replaced the front rotors, pads, calipers, and lines for a reasonable price and very timely. More recently, the right front was making a knocking noise that worsened. They diagnosed it as related to their original brake work and repaired it free of charge under their warranty of their work. I also had them diagnose and charge the freon for the A/C. Very reasonable price and work done timely. This is now my shop. Great folks too.

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! Got my Timing change done here and after 20k miles I’m needing a full replacement on parts that are suppose to last over 100k miles. I would say that’s not very efficient or cost saving! Being told all parts in my car we’re not replaced. 1200 dollars down the drain!

Would not recommend this place. They took a week just to diagnose the problem then it took two weeks for them to get the part then it took another week for them to fix it and now for some reason my rear ac isnt working. So unless you have a spare car or alot of money to waste on rent-a-cars you are better off going to a dealer. This place is a joke

They performed a diagnostic for free for service that I was requesting. After they performed the diagnostic, they informed me that I didn’t need the service that I requested. That’s a company with integrity. I will take my business there in the future.

Cory did a Fantastic job on our daughters Saturn. He is very knowledgeable and kept us in the loop on her car. Everything went very smooth. Price was great, had her car in and out in no time. We were lucky that warranty hadnt expired. Without a vehicle for one week. Checked on progress of status and was told they were working on it and would call when finished. That call never came we had to go once again and finally our car was finished. Was told we would not get another warranty. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong. Definitely will not do business with them again.

Representatives with whom I interacted were polite, courteous and honest. Service to my car restored proper functioning of the transmission. The only reason I did not give them five stars is, at this point in the Covid-19 pandemic (when the second wave is spreading rapidly and people are perishing in record numbers) none of the office staff was wearing masks, thus disregarding the patriotic duty each of us has to slow the spread of this virus.

Brought in my Pathfinder for transmission work, diagnosed with road test and computer, it was just low level of fluid. Could have charged for extra work, but didn’t. Cory, The service manager, Said he would call me to let me know what was going on with my vehicle he never called me so I called him At the end of the first dayI called Corey early in the morning the following day and he promised he would have my car diagnosed by lunch time And said he would call meCory did not call me so I called him at about 3 PMI called Corey and he was irritated that I called him and told me to come pick up my car that had not been diagnosed or worked onIt would’ve been very simple for Cory to tell me the truth which was they were backed up and he did not have time to diagnose my carCory was very unprofessional and rudeI took my car to HALT And they took care of it immediately

They were very nice in the front office and I was prepared to sit for a couple hours to get a test drive. After sitting there for an hour I had a friend pick me up. The test drive was actually a 15 minutes test drive I was without a car all day. There repair of a torque converter was priced at $2500. They offered to help me trade my car for another. Then they recommended I bring the car back for $149 diagnostic that involve them taken my pan off to check the inside of it and if I decided to allow them to fix it. bol my husband fixed the issue for $6.

My name is Micheal and I left my truck there to be checked and while it was in their possession someone that works there had run into something and put scratches on the passenger side back door and back right finder. I asked the guy who works their to check his camera and he refused to look to see who done the damage to my truck. And they still havent fixed it yet.

The worst thing a business can do is overbook which causes customers cars to just sit for a period of time waiting to be checked on. If you have had my vehicle for days not and haven’t checked it one time, why have cars towed in them. Not to mention being stuck with a tow fee that was never mentioned in the beginning. Very disappointed customer after haven’t spent almost 900.00 with this company in December.

Mr. Transmission did a diagnostic at no cost which is great! They gave me a price for replacing my transmission which was 500$ cheaper than the service center at my dealership. The employees were kind and discussed options of getting my vehicle fixed with me professionally, and this can be hard to come by as a young female.

Other shops quoted me a price and laid out a ridiculous timeline of when the work would be done. I was impressed with Mr. Transmissions clean waiting area, and efficiency of operation: I had an appointment and they completed my requested task promptly. I recommend them and will have all future mechanical work done there- since in their own words we do everything but tires and body work.

Just had my 2007 Ford F-150 trans rebuilt. Very professional kept me updated from time to time.Truck was laid up for about two weeks ordering parts. Took long due to the pandemic which is understandable. Told me to come back after 100 miles or so to do a follow up checkup. Never heard that before & very satisfied.

They took their time to carry out a detailed evaluation of the car to identify the issues and proffered advise on how to beat manage the car, not letting out that they were just a drive and or phone call away if any issues spring up. Ever so polite on the phone and ready to assist. It was a pleasure getting to work with this team on my car.

Estimate was around $590 but final charge was over $3973. Shocked!! after that the car not work fine . They dont honour making everything easy when you start taking or deal with them after that say we must check the car and this cost$580 and after that say the big amount and you don’t have choice between fix the car or refuse to fix it and pay $580 for nothing, the dealership just cost you $130 . Please be carful don’t let him did big job , you will lose your money.

Got there was a gas line problem, they got to it right away and fix the problem. I’m assuming it was a good value due to the fact I’ve never had anything like this worked on before. Very professional and friendly. Plus they had a really cool shop dog!

Took my car to the dealership for front wheel bearing noise. Had both replaced. In the process, they damaged both drive shafts, they replaced with aftermarket parts. 30 days later, my car stops moving. Having enough problems with dealership, I decided to call Milex. They had it towed and found the problem to be passenger drive shaft popped out. Defective drive shaft. Cory was very professional over the phone. He even talked with the dealership and was able to explain everything to them to the point that the dealership supplied the parts and paid for Milex’s labor. I am grateful and feel that they went above and beyond my expectations. I read many of their google reviews and agree that they are honest and provide fair prices.

This place has experience and integrity I’ve not commonly found in the industry. Very happy with my experiences there over the last couple years.

Mr. Transmission made the process simple and quick. They picked up my vehicle and latter told me what the price would be to repair the transmission. They would not give me a price until they took the transmission apart to determine exactly what needed replacing. Un like other shops they only charged me for the parts they used to repair my transmission rather than replacing unnecessary parts. The price in the end was the same as what they said it would be. The rebuilt transmission was smooth and quiet. I will definitely use them again.

When I went to pick up my car there was a gentleman there with his son saying that he brought his car from Spartanburg for their services! That was just the icing on the cake because the customer service is awesome and its family owned!

Took my truck in to get the alternator repaired but after the repair my belt started to squeal during cold starts. Had to bring it back to them multiple times to try to fix the squeal. Each time they swore it was fixed and each time it wasn’t. At this point I don’t want to waste any more of my time with them as I have work to do and a family to feed. I will have to take my business somewhere else. *Update: After having the truck check out by another mechanic somewhere else it turned out the belt was being installed out of order causing more tension on the belt.

After a few questionable assessments on car performance and repairs from Protire on Wade Hampton Boulevard, I got a second opinion at Mr. Transmission on S. Pleasantburg Dr. They fixed the motor mount that had deteriorated and unlike my old mechanic, didn’t see a reason to replace all 3 since the other two were functioning normally. I later took the car back to check the wiper bushing since the wiper was swiping past the windshield edge. They identified a loose bolt and unlike Protire, didn’t recommend replacing the entire wiper - bushings, arms, blades. These guys are true mechanists, not opportunists.

Honest and fast. Rebuilt the transmission on a 2005 gto within 2 days!!! Will not use another shop for transmission work. If I didnt fix my cars myself I would use them for any and all repairs.

DONT TRUST THESE THIEVES!!!! They tell you they can fix your vehicle and that theyre ordering a new part. Then find out weeks later, after they send you home with a car thats still un-repaired, that they never bought a new part (they bought it from a junkyard). They charge you hundreds and then you find out they had no business even touching your car, needless to say charge you or claim they can fix it, because the ONLY ones with the programming abilities are the dealerships. YOUR COMPANIES HUGE LACK OF COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM MAKES ME SICK!!!!!!
