We found this shop as we were walking around. It is absolutely beautiful and full of treasures. I wish I lived closer and could frequent this store often. Each section of the store is carefully curated and layered with so many details, inspiration, and things to purchase. I wish I had taken more photos, especially of the furniture. I took a picture of the canvas because my mom loves John Lennon and a photo of the plants for inspiration.Im seriously coming back with a larger vehicle at some point and bringing home some beautiful and unique finds.

I just went to this store today and was greeted with this sign. Ive been to this store in the past and enjoyed looking at the interesting and fairly reasonable priced items. However I have two children - 2 years old and 5 months old. I was pretty put off by the sign as, obviously, my sleeping 5 month old cant walk. When asked about the sign the employee (possibly owner) said he has white couches people have scuffed with their big strollers before and just shrugged.My grandparents who were also with me in wheel chairs were having a hard time getting through the aisles.Im disappointed by the lack of consideration that customers may have others with them who cant walk. Its unfortunate that people with children who cant walk would seem to be singled out and not allowed in. I would really like to see this sign taken down and would ask that ownership consider those to legitimately cant walk in their design/lay out of the store. At this point in time they have lost me as a customer.

We have visited Vintage Now Modern many times. Their holdings are beautiful and unique. We have purchased Annie Sloan chalk paint for various projects, and their staff has been kind and helpful - answering questions, giving painting and waxing tips, and pointing us in the right direction.

I’ve been to this store at 5 times now because it is very cute. But they’re so expensive. I would love to support them, but you must have a lot of money to even consider some of the furniture pieces. I guess that’s who they’re trying to cater to. Also, the employees are not friendly, at all. I’ve seen different ones each time and not even a hello.

This is not your typical furniture store in Greenville, SC. It’s very unique when it comes to furniture and beyond, atmosphere is super nice and customer service always on the point. Thank you for such a pleasant shopping experience. Definitely will be back!

Incredibly adorable and unique store! The furniture is nicely redone or kept in good shape, the decor is unique but eye catching in even an updated home. I was surprised to see small items you wouldn’t think of such as old letters and watch tins for sale. Makes me rethink all of the things I had to sort through in the estates sales I’ve had to do... 🧐 Well done!

Please beware.The business owner, Tony, was unprofessional and hostile with us over a delivery issue. In this transaction, Tony had taken and deposited the full amount ($4,240) of our money for a sofa and chair and promised 8-12 weeks to deliver. After 25 weeks we asked for some reasonable compensation which we resolved at 7.3% ($310) rebate, due to the upfront payment being deposited in full 25 weeks ago. Our rationale, we should have only paid a deposit (i.e. 20%), or the check should not have been cashed up front if it was going to take this long, businesses should not use customers for free 0% interest loans of thousands of dollars. At this time we agreed to the 7.3% compensation, Tony indicated that in the past he wouldnt have resolved this issue the same way (indicating he had anger or conflict resolution problems) but was getting better at resolving issues. You can actually see another 1 star review where Tony tells his customer were you looking in the mirror when your wrote this.Two weeks later he told us to come pick up the sofa and chair. We took time off work and got a truck and help to pick up the items. Tony brought us to a back alley behind his store (Vintage Now Modern) and instead of letting us pick up our sofa and chair, decided to implode and started using profanity and name calling (youre an explicative etc.), shaking with emotion and anger. He looked delighted to tell us off and to cancel the transaction knowing he wasted more of our time and stuck it to us. We remained quiet, a bit in shock with this bizarre behavior. Only mentioning after the profanity that we would try to warn others via a review and better business bureau. He did give us a full refund, as he continued with some more name calling again as he handed us the check before returning back inside his store.Exact dates for reference are initial sales order and check cut on 12/5/2020, 7.3% refund cut on 5/17/2021 and Tony canceling our transaction in a hostile encounter on 5/28/2021.Update 5/30/2021: I spoke with Tony directly on the first encounter for the 7.3% comp, not a female employee. I never raised my voice or used profanity. Though Tony sure did.I also had no intention of leaving a bad review until Tony did all of the completely inappropriate actions which hes admitted publicly now. My goal now is to attempt to protect others from this bad actor.We also found out just how bad Tony was gouging us on price. We are now going to get the same thing from a more established USA made furniture brand for 25% less at another local store on Augusta road that has business ethics.We lost 6 months and apprently gave Tony a free loan for $4,240.Please avoid this guy at all costs.

Went by the store a couple weeks ago and had a gentlemen named Tony help me out. He must have been having a bad day, because he was the least helpful person Ive ever encountered. He was rude and spoke down to customers. Not what you expect when spending that kind of money on furniture. My money will go elsewhere.

I love this store- they have everything from hippie style rugs and table runners to industrial style furniture to rustic and farmhouse decor. To top it all off, the staff are super friendly and nice also. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a wonderful small business. My wife and I found it while walking around and loved the cool vintage thing for sell. We found a chandelier thats was what we were looking for and then some. The owner is a nice as you could be. We will be going back here often i have a feeling.

Vintage Now Modern (Debra) sent a team out to paint our kitchen cabinets using Annie Sloans Old White Chalk Paint. From the time Debra came out to take a look and give me an estimate, I knew it was going to be a great experience. I was simply amazed at the transformation that took place in our kitchen. The team took their time and did a fantastic job! They kept the area clean and completed the project in about 4 days. It is always hard when you need home improvement work done and are scared to have strangers in your home. With the Vintage Now Modern team, I was totally at ease right away and it was so nice having such trustworthy people in your home. Annie Sloan products are made to last and I am enjoying my new kitchen cabinets! Thanks for the wonderful job! I would highly recommend Vintage Now Modern to anyone! The shop also has very unique decor items! You should stop by if you are in the downtown area. They even have their own parking area!

This is a great store, always changing so it is a good idea to check it out whenever in town. Tony is so accommodating. Describe something to him and hell find it in short order. I love the chalk paint, awesome colors that definitely give a vintage appearance. They have vintage pieces at very reasonable prices and also nice looking reproductions that are extremely affordable. They definitely have keen eyes when it comes to inventory. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something unique let Tony know and he will most likely find it for you. This has to be my all time favorite store. Ever. I am in love with every one of my purchases from VNM: beautiful rugs, the softest most luxurious bedding, scripture artwork, decorative pillows, table decor ...... and my very favorite - our custom made sectional sleeper sofa! SO COMFY! Beyond all these things VNM (Tony, Debra, Janine) have gone over and above to advise me in giving my old furniture a new look with chalk paint, as well as great references for custom draperies and more! #beststorebestpeople

Amazing selection of eccentric, classy, and beautiful furniture and decor items. The furniture really impressed me. Reasonably priced and very kind staff, this place was one of my absolute favorites on my first real trip to Greenville. Next time Im up this way, Ill be sure to come back.

If I could rate Vintage Now Modern a 10 out of 5 I would! Debbie and Tony not only have a beautiful store with many selections for varying tastes, their customer service is unsurpassed. I walked in one day inquiring about 8’ antique doors (which are very hard to find in that size). Tony took down my specifications and when he travelled to different cities shopping for ‘unique finds’ he would text me pictures of doors that he came across. Within a week I had 3 sets of GORGEOUS antique doors, at a very affordable price, for my new home under construction. The customer service did not stop there - Tony stored the doors for me for several months until I was ready for them. Not only do I have beautiful doors for my home, I have two new friends! As soon as my budget allows, I will be purchasing more items from Vintage Now Modern for my home :)Thank you so much Tony and Debbie!!
