Had a cracked windshield on passenger side and a nice rock shot on drivers side [ from penndots infinite wisdom of tarring and chipping roads vs fixing them correctly] Safelite had me in and out in about an hour. The one word summary of my experience: AWESOME!!!The extra words version:I recently purchased an older pickup that had some damage to it, including the windshield. It needed to be repaired but I could not drive it. So I had a choice between Safelite and another provider. While I think I could have saved some money and had an equally good experience, I am ultimately really glad I went with Safelite.I called the main service line to make my request for repair.I was then contacted by the local Safelite and had a great experience working out some of the details. But was very pleased that they could fix my truck the very next day. That was faster than I would have expected.I got all the appropriate emails and was notified this morning about my Technician, Trevor. He called that he was on the way to make the repair and was amazingly polite and positive. I was in a particular jam with an issue regarding the windshield trim on my truck. But it posed no problem for my tech, Trevor. He made the repair with no issue and it looked great afterward.I sent him a message to thank him and he was extremely courteous to call back and say, Youre welcome. He even was very good to caution me about being careful about any stray glass that may have fallen on the ground. He did not want anyone to get hurt. I appreciate the extra concern because I dont think I would have thought about that. Again, talking with Trevor was a great experience.This Safelite understands customer courtesy which means a lot to me. So if you need some glass for your car or truck, call these guys and let them set you up good. Had a small 3inch hairline crack in my windshield which escalated to 2 feet. Needed to do something and Safelite was great, scheduled online and was able to be seen within a business day. Paul the tech, explained all the info about what was being done, how it was going to be repaired which made my choice for windshield replacement a good one. Car was done in less time i was estimated and felt that Safelite appreciated my business. A+

The lady behind the front counter was unwelcoming and a bit dismissive. All appointments have to be made online. Its really difficult to speak to a customer service representative on the phone unless you have a business card in which you can contact someone directly . . . Which I didnt find out until after my first appointment. Scheduled online according to the stipulations and found out at the appointment that my windshield couldnt be fixed, it has to be replaced. So I have to schedule another appointment and it will take approximately 2 hours to do so. I understand - just wish the online scheduling could have figured that out for me first. Now Im going to miss out on the discount I originally used. This isnt the first time Ive used Safelite, just this particular location. Ive been satisfied in the past. Not sure if the pandemic has a role to play in this particular visit or not, but it left a slightly sour taste in my mouth.

Dennis was my tech today that replaced my windshield. He was AMAZING! Very respectful and professional and the most important thing is ... he respected my time and my appointment. He came to my work, it was raining and was concerned he would not have enough space to work in the garage. Dennis easily could have said that I had to make a new appointment but instead he volunteered to take my car to the shop, fix it and bring it back. He did that plus vacuumed and cleaned my windows. Very appreciative of this!!

Safelite replaced the windshield on my Jeep last week and I couldn’t be happier with their work and customer service. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the repairmen were SO friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. They kept me informed about the process and the after replacement care. I paid out of pocket and found their pricing to be very fair, and the replacement comes with a lifetime warranty at any Safelite, which I thought was a really nice addition. Highly recommend!

Scheduled a rear pick up window replacement (not difficult)close to a week ago, promised to install between 8- noon. Tech calls tells me wont be there till sometime before 2pm. Truck now sitting all day needed for farm business. Tech is based not more than 15 min from farm. very frustrated. ordered on site install to save time & spent more for it. and thats not just in $ costs $

I delivered a car to their shop the other day, they got me in right on schedule. They were super polite. As i sat in the waiting room i observed how they treated other customers and i was just blown away at how great their customer service is! They really try to go above and beyond. The company i work for has safelite do a lot of work for them, and we never have a problem with any of their work. Highly recommend.

Decent service, one of the better windshield replacement service centers around! Theyll own up to their warranty only thing is they say theyll protect the inside and outside of ur vehicle, sweep interior floors and clean all exterior windows which they did not do so it kind of upset me and then my new windshield had scratches all over it but they did replace it... Just inconvenient taking a whole day just to get your windshield done in a manner you would expect.. probably just my luck hope your experience is better than mine 😉👍

I was lied to and now after you making the crack in my windshield much worse Im being extorted out of $150 after the repairman saying it would be covered if it needs replaced as the repair he did didnt seem to take well. So much for the lifetime warranty. And the lady I spoke with there was extremely rude to boot. Go with Pittsburgh Auto Glass instead.

Friendly, knowledgeable service. 3 stars cause they would not do my windshield cause of a surface rust issue. Say its corporate policy. Just better off dealing with a local business. Terrys Auto Glass had no issue and charged $20 extra to treat the rust. Terrys from now on & with my business trucks as well

Fast professional service i called sunday after a rock chipped my windshield and they had a tech out to me by Tuesday and the tech was very nice and professional and the repair is great i will definitely use them again if i have any other window issues

They are good and was understanding and gave me a quote on repairs but you can not go through the store unless you drive there Evan if you call the Greenburg store you will get the repair center

Windshield was cracked due to a stone chip while driving. I called my insurance company and they set up my appointment for me with Safelite. Safelite called me and confirmed the service and came directly to my driveway! Quality service that was quick, complete, professional, and they replaced my windshield with the exact same one I previously had. Both the phone representative and the technician could not have been nicer. Great experience and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone.

I have to be honest, I dont usually take the time to review good service, but these guys went above and beyond. I showed up early, and they werent busy so they got to work. I am used to the long drawn out process, but I was trying to keep up with them. The woman behind the counter saved me $$ by educating me on comprehensive coverage and my windshield repair was free, they made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Very refreshing. Good work and good service. A++

Person was great that came to replace windshield. However trying to get in touch with a real person at the greensburg location was impossible. Very sad companies are replacing secretaries to call centers in other states. I needed to talk with someone at greensburg not a call center in another state.

So this review is long overdue (reminded by a commercial)... so I got a decent size chip in my windshield a while back. I immediately remembered the jingle and looked up SafeLite. I drove in to the Greensburg location in the morning. Right away I was greeted and asked what was my situation. They explained how they were going to fix it and all the small details. It took them about 10 minutes to pull my car in. In the mean time the manager showed me the fridge and snack bar in the customer lounge. I was impressed, there was chips, pop and other snacks. I was sitting for about 20 more minutes until the manager told me I was all done. Again he explained to me what they did and how it is better than the competitors. He walked me to my car showed me the fixed chip. All the windows, no seriously... ALL the windows and mirrors were wiped clean and they even vacuumed my floors! Granted they didn’t soap and clean the floors to brand new, but what other company goes out of their way that much?!HIGHLY satisfied with my 30 minute visit.5 stars for EVERYTHING!

My windshield got cracked so I tried to take advantage of their mobile service. Scheduled it on a Saturday because I drive for a living and cant sit at my office all day.Got a call the day prior asking if I could bring it in if it was raining or snowing. I said yea, as long as its earlier because I have to pickup someone from work. Ill add if they came here I have another call to go get them.Anyway, got a call in the morning today. The tech told me I have to bring it in the shop at 5 today because they overbooked him and wait because its on the end of his list. I explained to him from when I was told yesterday its not raining or snowing so why isnt he coming here. He said that its 40 degrees and to cold outside .Well why he#! didnt the guy say that to me yesterday!!!??? WHY NOT TELL THE TRUTH. Then I would have made different arrangements for my girlfriend. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule because they werent honest. They gave me some feedback that they cant control how cold it is. Im sorry but anyone looking at the weather channel can say on Friday if its supposed to be cold or warm on Saturday. Even better when I rescheduled for next Saturday the lady said, hopefully the forecast is rights because next Saturday is sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain.......wait...... You mean to tell me you know the weather for Next Saturday on the phone with me but COULDNT tell me yesterday they cant do it because its too cold out tomorrow. Hands down, from the tech telling me their overbooked, they just didnt want to do it today.

Overall work took less than 90 minutes. They even vacuumed my front seats even though theyre only supposed to clean the glass shards. The technician was very polite, and informative of the process.

I am extremely disappointed in safelite. After calling to get my windshield replaced and providing them with the VIN multiple times, safelite silk brought the wrong windshield and installed the aftermarket glass into my Subaru. The car was then taken to the dealership to have the eyesight feature calibrated. The dealership could not calibrate the factory installed safety equipment because safelite installed the wrong windshield. When my husband called to inform them of their mistake, they placed blame on my husband asking why didnt you tell us you needed OEM glass? Safelite was provided the VIN multiple times which told them the specifics of the car and what type of glass was needed. This problem is still not resolved and safelite does not want to install the correct windshield leaving me without a car. To say I am very disappointed is an understatement. I expected better of safelite. I only rated this as one star because it would not allow me to give anything less.
