We worked with Gary over the phone and then in person the same day to purchase a vehicle. I’ve never received such great service! We were in and out in less than 2 hours. He had the car ready for us to inspect upon arrival, dried and cleaned up inside since it was raining. The team buffed a few minor spots out for us right there, which was terrific!I’d highly recommend anyone to purchase a car here, especially working with Gary!

I was nervous looking for a car because it had been over 20 years since I had to purchase a car on my own. I could not have been treated better by every staff member that I came in contact with. Gary Chambers was the salesperson that helped me and I can’t say enough about how well I was treated. He listened to me and was patient. I was never pressured to make a decision nor made to feel uncomfortable in any way. He worked hard to get me into a nice car that was in my price range. They were a few financial challenges but he was determined to do everything he could to make the deal go through and in my favor. Thank you for treating your customers like family. Customer service is the worst in their service area. They refuse to acknowledge the customer even with 4 guys staring into their computers. Guess they think women are below them, but my money was spent elsewhere with a lot better customer service and even cheaper than Dellen. Loyalty doesn’t count for anything anymore with companies. Just go where you are treated better. Done with loyalty. Wish I had the ability to give them zero stars.

I drove over 2 hours to look at a car when i has called and asked that morning if it was available. They had it pulled in the back when i arrived and wouldn’t even let me drive it, let alone look at it. Then they said to come back 2 days later and it still wasn’t ready. I put an offer on it and never heard back then i finally spoke to someone about it and they just stopped replying. Very rude and unprofessional. I will definitely not be back and not recommend anyone there

I purchased a 2013 Toyota Avalon and traded in my 2012 Elantra. Overall, the experience was very good. The salesman named John was friendly and patient with me during the process. The value they offered for my trade-in was more than fair and better than what Carvana or VROOM was offering. The sales tactics during the negotiation process were somewhat tough but understandable given the current automobile market being a sellers market. What made the experience a 5-star experience was the dealership going above and beyond to correct an issue with the car battery shortly after I purchased it even though it was probably not technically covered by any warranty. Marshall, whom is a manager, and John were receptive to the car battery issue after the sale and prompt with a solution that I was satisfied with. I am grateful for deciding to do business with Dellen in Greenfield, IN!

The good: Im from Michigan and I drove 175mi to Dellen to get this Mazda. It was the best deal around and honestly, one of the best experiences Ive had at a dealership thanks to Casey Putt. If you get the chance, speak with him if you want a car because hes very kind and considerate to your needs! The price was also able to be dropped to exactly what I could pay for. If I could rate my experience with Casey only, it would be 5/5 stars, hands down. However, thats not the case.The bad: When my boyfriend and I arrived, we already had planned to get the car checked out by a mechanic (see my review for Neal Automotive) but we were surprised to find the car had cosmetic damage to the front that no one (even kind Casey) had told us anything about before we drove to a different state to see this car. No pictures, no comments, not even an explanation as to why there were scratches, dents and dings to the front left side. Honestly, it was this lack of communication that really hurt our opinion of the dealership (because you can see in one of my pictures that it states no accident). The mechanic had stated there was no mechanical issues, which is relieving but just explain to us what happened before we drive 175 miles.The ugly: Even with everything, the great discount and amazing Casey Putt, we had the utmost misfortune of speaking to Marshall, the manager (?) of Dellen Chrysler. He strong arms you, speaks quite highly of himself, and speaks down to you. It was a tremendously terrible experience and he came off quite awful as an individual. The deal hes speaking of, yes it was an amazing deal! My trade in was worth $200 max (beat up car) but they went and allowed it to cover the tax of the new vehicle so they took it for nearly $750 so that it hit the max of our budget. Seriously, great deal! But throwing it in our face that you gave us such a great deal over and over again, so the cosmetic damage shouldnt even matter is not appropriate at all. Not to mention that the breaks needed replacing per recommendation of the mechanic and our request for getting the price down just enough to cover that $350 - $400 repair was completely dismissed and shoved aside. Then, when expecting to have the gas topped off before driving, again, 175 miles back home, he made it sound like he was doing us such a great service for allowing Casey to go fill the gas up.Too long;didnt read: No, I would not recommend buying a car here. Yes I got a great deal. Casey Putt is an amazing salesman. If you come here, be aware of Marshall. If you can, avoid him completely, or hope he gets transferred.

Overall I would say a good experience. Our salesman, Andrew was great and answered all of our questions and we love the vehicle. The only downside was that they had one finance guy for two dealerships - on a Saturday! We waited over 3 hours to sign the paperwork. Once we went back to sign it only took us 15 minutes, so that didnt add up for us.

Today I went in not thinking I would end up with a vehicle.I figured that the vehicle I wanted would not fit my budget and I would not get a good trade in value for my van as it was old.I was wrong. They found a loan company that pretty much beat the Credit Union I have dealt with for years.Went a bit over budget but it gave me gap protection insurance and a few other extra guarantees I would need.Travis Green was an awesome sales rep and answered my questions and went beyond what most sales people would do to explain how my vehicle operated.Although I am over an hour away from this dealership, I would highly recommend anybody to go here to buy their next auto.Happy in Seymour, IN.Audrey Blackman

This was my first experience with Dellens Service Department having just bought my Jeep Cherokee last summer. I made an appointment online as instructed via the e-mail I received from Jeep. I scheduled it for 8:00 a.m. Since it was just for a simple oil change and tire rotation I thought telling my boss I would be in by 10:00 am was giving them PLENTY of time to complete the service and for me to get to work downtown on time. It took the service team almost the WHOLE TWO HOURS to complete my service. When I asked what the point of me making an appointment was, I was told The online system is for the service department, your service is on our express side. The two schedules arent the same system, so weve been really busy. (Naming it the express side clearly mustve been meant as a joke.) I did my part -- I followed instructions via the e-mail to schedule my appointment using the link provided and most importantly, I showed up on time for my appointment. Its not my fault that your two departments/software dont communicate. If anything you shouldve triaged the situation when I arrived by seeing it was a quick service that was needed and got me/other customers like me out of the way so you could focus on the more complicated requests.Our previous vehicle we always took to Valvoline Express Care right down the street. Even on their busiest days Ive never been there longer than an hour for the same services. The only reason I went to Dellen this time was because of the free services that were included with our purchase. Maybe because they werent making money off my vehicle I was pushed aside who knows, but taking almost two hours to change the oil and rotate four tires is beyond ridiculous. I ended up being 40 minutes late to my job, thanks Dellen.

Across the board the entire staff is friendly as soon as you walk in the door. I purchased a new Jeep while trading in my old Jeep. I was offered a competitive trade-in value as compared with other offers I had received. They gave me a sheet that had all the warranty requirements on it, that included prices. I really like how there are no surprises, before doing things they ask you about it and ensure you want it done. I like that they are local and honest!!

I was surprised and delighted at the depth of product knowledge the Dellen salesperson had on the new Jeep Wrangler. Most sales people I run into seem to have shallow product knowledge, especially on the gritty details of trucks and off-road vehicles, but not here. Super helpful, super knowledgeable, and we hit it off immediately. In fact, it was a pretty short path to a good deal on a new Wrangler Rubicon that I feel really good about. Purchased a New 2020 Ram 1500. Three days and 288 miles later it has a charging issue. Called the dealership and they could offer no help other than to have it towed to the nearest dealer. The closest dealer cant look at it for two weeks. They offered no loaner vehicle and I have nothing else to drive. Guess i will sleep at work for the next two weeks. Very disappointed in the truck and the service after the sale from Dellen.

Good experience. Could have done better job on prepping vehicle for delivery. Jeep still had chalk written numbers on tires. All tires were low on pressure which was displayed on instrument panel but not addressed until after delivery when I requested it. Small details but still noticable to customers. After breaking down in Greenfield, Indiana I contacted Dellen Chrysler service to take care of the repairs to my 2017 Chrysler 300 so that I could get back on the road. They refused to service my vehicle even though it is still under warranty. I then contacted Chrysler who tried to call them and they informed me that they had been hung up on by the same worker at Dellen and that I would need to find somewhere else for repairs. So they left me stranded and I had to get my car towed to a different town. The extremely rude worker and refusal of services are the reasons I am giving Dellen 1 star. Do better.

I have nothing good to say about this place, other than the fact that their cars are competitively priced. However, this seems like a lesson in you get what you pay for. Buying this car took longer than any other car purchase in my life. I literally waited hours to complete the sale of the vehicle, only to drive off the lot hours later with warning lights showing up all over the dash. I took it back to have it looked at, and they conveniently just reset the warning lights to make it become my problem instead. I was also told a transmission seal was leaking, which Dellen agreed to fix, then returned it to have it fixed, only to have them tell me there was no problem with the transmission seal as they had previously specified. Save yourself some time, and go somewhere that will provide quality customer service, as well as truthful and accurate information!

I took my jeep Cherokee in because there was a recall on it. I asked them to look at my sunroof too as it was making a rattling noise. Come to find out the track for the sunroof was broken. When the technician opened up the sunroof the Broken track ripped the cloth lining on the sunroof. I had opened the cloth sunroof in the past with no issues. They didn’t even have the courtesy to inform me about the tear! I took the car back and talked to the manager. He basically said sorry for your luck and did not offer to correct the problem. Needless to say I will never take my jeep or any other car back there for any kind of service. Also, they changed the oil and forgot to reset the electronic message that reminds you to change the oil. C’mon fellas- that’s just basic stuff!!

Found my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew online, listed at Dellen. Drove down from Chicago to look at it. Travis was waiting outside for us as we drove up, and took us inside to see the vehicle on the showroom floor. He knew EVERYTHING about that van! There wasnt any question I asked that he didnt know the answer to. Very experienced salesman and very friendly. Not at all pushy. We went for a test drive, and drove and drove. He even had my friend drive for awhile too. I kept expecting him to tell us to head back to the dealership, but he was in no hurry.After we decided to buy, he walked us through everything easily.Several times in the year since I bought, Travis has called to make sure everything was OK with the van. Ive had no problems with my van and I love it!I expect to keep this van for a long time, but if I need to buy another one, Ill be sure to go back to Dellen if Travis is still working there! Oh Dellen how I thought you were the one! Priced a Jeep right where I wanted I be without even any negotiation just needed the right color. That was to be done the next morning but that didn’t happen. I called and left a message for your NEW salesman and never got a call back. I followed up the next day to find it was his day off. Your lovely manager assisted me but didn’t notify me until after business hours that she had found what I was looking for. I had a few questions and said I would contact her the next morning after you opened. I call and find out it’s her day off. Now I’m back with salesman who has no idea what’s going on. My questions were about why a cheaper Jeep priced out higher than a Jeep that was $5000 more? Oh but wait...first Jeep is now a higher price as well! Because something I knew was that incentives change on the 10th of every month and you were no longer going to give me those because YOUR people failed to make the deal before the incentives ended. Your manager tried to say that had nothing to do with it but why would the price change on the 10th then? Why did the discount amount change? You think because a girl walks in she doesn’t understand? Daddy didn’t raise an idiot! You had a guaranteed sale! Guaranteed! You blew it! It may be only one loss to you but I will tell everyone how you played me. Social media is an amazing thing these days. Another dealer will get an amazing review from me after I tell them what you did! I will however say that Michael and Courtney were very nice but never lie to a customer when they know how things work. You’re not always talking to someone that doesn’t know

We have bought 3 new vehicles here at Dellen from Travis Green. Our first was in 2011, 2 Citadel Durangos and a Charger. We have had experience with their parts department and service department several times over the past few years for warranty items and regular service. From sales to service and parts we have had nothing but fantastic experiences. Anytime I have had a question or issue they have bent over backwards to ensure my questions are answered or issues resolved. The entire dealership is always clean and welcoming and has comfortable places to wait for service. If youre looking for a new vehicle Id highly recommend giving Dellen a shot, when you stop in ask for Travis hes always been great to us!

Bought a used Jeep here. Sales staff was very friendly and helpful. Sales person allowed me to drive car home so my wife could see it. We dickered back and forth on trade-in value but eventually came to a deal. Financial Mgr was very helpful and explained each piece of paper we had to sign. Overall it was a very good experience.

If you have a warranty on anything , make sure you get all the details before. I was told it was covered by the warranty and no additional charge for a fix on my truck over the phone. Then when I was going to pay for it, I was told their would be a $100 deductible. Watch out for hidden fees on any work they complete. Also, the GM doesnt care about your business is what I felt. I told him about my concern and he said sorry, but have a great night.This will be my last transactions with Dellen in Greenfield.

I accompanied my daughter-in-law, Beth, to this Greenfield Chrysler/Jeep business. Her intent was to buy a used minivan they had advertised, and drive it home (45 minutes away) while I drove her old vehicle back.Though the salesman we had didn’t really know much at all about the vehicle and seemed to fall off the earth, the service manager(?) took his place. He lamented about how, with an $800 transmission fix, this advertised minivan was going to be expensive for them to repair. In other words, through no fault of hers, the dealership had placed on themselves an almost unfair burden to make an advertised product drivable. (How is THAT for being upside down?) Additionally, the head of the service department(?) was called out to the lot to see if they could cheaply “fix” a windshield problem by gluing on some sort of weatherstripping to help keep water from leaking in. rather than properly replacing it. I asked the first service guy-turned-salesman what would happen if that fix didn’t work. His response was Beth only needed to bring the van back, and anything promised would be taken care of. He also told us that he has built his good reputation, based on always being true to his word. After answering a few more questions, he shook hands with me as his bond, and Beth approved the deal with him.Unfortunately, the 2 hours she had just spent was NOT the longest part of her experience. After another hour of the salesman vanishing from his desk while we waited, we were sent across the road to the Chevy side of the dealership to get the financial part of the agreement taken care of. (We ASSUMED that’s what had been happening for the last hour. Nobody told us.)When we arrived across the road, there were 3 other people sitting and waiting there. After another hour, I had to leave to come back, and they were all still waiting. As I recall from talking to Beth later, it was another 2 hours after I left before she was taken care of. The reason? “I don’t think we’ve ever been this busy.” Really? 3 customers in 2 hours back across the road, and 3 waiting for financing that was already approved? Does that SOUND busy?A couple of weeks later, I noticed the windshield weather strips were in place in the used minivan. Thinking that meant the transmission had been fixed, too, I asked. That’s when Beth informed me about the rough-running on her way home and warning lights. She also related how, when she took it back in to get the strips and transmission fixed, she was told there was suddenly nothing wrong with the transmission, and though some engine codes had shown up for engine problems, they had been lost and they didn’t have enough time or help to try getting the codes back. How convenient—for the dealership!I recall a warm, low-key TV commercial where Mr. Dellen himself talked about how a buying experience at his dealerships was all about honesty, caring, and being “up front” with customers. Given a few other reviews along the same lines as this one, it seems completely possible that Mr. Dellen has been living out of the country instead of visiting and making needed personnel changes, or at least changes in how the personnel treats customers, at his dealerships.Finally—the dealership’s fault, not mine—I find it clever yet revealing, that responses to negative reviews are consistently met with a request to contact someone at the dealership to work on a resolution. Explain to me why an educated person would expect a resolution to take place at all when binding words and a handshake meant next to nothing before. The ploy in this “problem-solving” technique is in the answer: An educated person—especially a cheated customer—WOULDN’T feel the necessity of wasting yet MORE time by calling. Ah...and there is the REAL desired outcome: Having a customer appear in the wrong for not initiating a phone call that the dealership should have made to the customer.Good luck with the honesty and caring things, Mr. Dellen.

No rating! I would not recommend this dealer at all!! I have been dealing with a sales person, John Kiesel, for the past 2 days. Yesterday they pulled my credit, all good. I live almost 2 hours away, but was willing to drive down to pick up my new car, but wanted to work out all the details and financing before I made the drive tomorrow. I told the salesman that I would call him today and put down a deposit after he sent me the details so I know what was being financed, my interest rate and payments. After asking this morning to send me the list, he sent me a message back that the car has been sold! He tried to tell me that I didnt make a commitment and there were others trying to buy the car at the same time! What! Who does that!? I was told yesterday after we had already started the deal 2 days ago that someone had expressed interest in the car and wanted to know how serious I was. I told him yes, I want the car, I just want to work out everything before I come down on Saturday to sign the papers and pick the car up. And why would I allow you to pull my credit if I wasnt serious. Oh wait...than they try to tell me they didnt run my credit. Hmm...so I checked my report and well look...its a hard inquiry by Dellen Chrysler Jeep Dodge. A hard inquiry brings your points down, for anyone not familiar. So now, not only did I waste the past 3 days working out a deal for the car Ive been desperately searching for, but now my credit got pinged for nothing. Total waste! Bad, bad business and dishonest with customers! Customer comes first, not money! It should be on a first come first serve basis. If I was the first to inquire and start the process, no one else should have been allowed to start anything unless I backed out. Now they want to try and offer me another car, but different color? Why didnt they tell the other customer that someone was already interested and offer to sell them a different color? Well, it was hard enough to get any straight answers to begin with. They would not answer me when I asked more than once, what is the interest rate? What I was told was we will see when it is submitted to the bank. Hello! rates dont change in a day! I qualified for the Chrysler Capital 1.9 % financing, but it will change when submitted? To what? Who doesnt know their interest rate before buying!? Shop somewhere else. I felt I was scammed! Very hurt and disappointed!
