First time coming in here today. The atmosphere was nice and quiet which I appreciated so I could find something that I liked. The prices were great and paying with cash was easy. They have records, cds and magazines too. Would love to come again soon.- Juli

One of my favorite bookstores to go to. Most of the books are in really good shape. They also have an extensive record and movie section. This is one of the only bookstores Ive been to that has signed and first edition copies of some really great books and collections.

I really enjoyed myself. I was purchasing materials for my job. I am excited about the magazines I found. The sales staff was very helpful, I dropped a whole stack of magazines, the young lady was on her way into the office but stopped to assist me! In this day and age customer service is at an all time low. Its refreshing when you find customer service thats about the customer. Thank you for a great experience.

Their selection was one of the best Ive ever seen in a Half-Priced Books. However, their carpet is disgusting and smells terrible. Really takes from the great selection. Unfortunately the dirty carpet and nasty smell overpowers the amazing selections. Ill stick with the Brookfield location.

Great Service! Tons of books. Really take some back to when I was a kid. Half Price was a treat for me and still is. My husband and I have been hunting for a certain series of books for years and we found the entire set here. Incredible! 6 books for under $20. Yes. Favorite book store ever.

Ordered a book online for pickup, they said it would be ready that same day, never got N email saying it was ready. Called the next morning, they said it was ready apologized for not sending the email they would send a new email. Went to the store to pick up amd still never got the email. The guy at the register had a hard time finding it finally found it after but 5 minutes. Very frustrating service.

So i bought a wii sports game and cost $15 when i came home and put the disc in my wii it was M&M Kart Racing not even the game i bought but it had the wii sports cover on. Good Job Half Price Books🙄 Would not reccomend buying anything from here again.

Pretty good selection but little pricey and expect very little $ for selling items unless unusual. Better to donate to libraries or donation stores. Needs more front counter staff.

Love this store! Its always very clean and well organized. Staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The prices can not be beat! Selections are very good and their inventory is always changing. Every time I visit they have new book selections from my favorite authors. They also have plenty of clearance items which are fun to look through. I highly recommend this store.

My family and I love this place. We stopped in after dinner at El Beso, which is across the parking lot, and found a few books for the kids and a couple for my wife. The only difficult part was buying them without her seeing. Tons of books for all ages and interests.

Fast friendly people and great selection

The one star is because I think some of the people that handel stuff coming and are not honest and in my opinion I think they profile I brought a book for 135 brand new the only thing I did was take the plastic I know I was going to take a lost, but I was offered 4 bucks for something in excellent condition is a insult. I was told they go off what other sites like Ebay and Amazon ect.. price there items and the prices I saw was no where near 4 bucks 66 and up is what I found. So how do u get 4 bucks out of that. My opinion sell elsewhere.

Ive been coming to this store for years since I was a kid, and the staff was life family because I knew their names and they knew mine; however before this pandemic started they fired the full-time staff and brought in these part-timers. Im not fond of the newer staff because they fired my closest friends that it made me upset. He and every else I knew that use to know loved working there. Although some of the newer staff are okay, but some are pathetic and rude.There was a day when I was there, on one came to the front and I was waiting for almost 10 minutes, this is what happens when you hire people my age, they consider themselves than others, Ive seen it in person. Since this had happened, I stop going there as much as before, but once and a while Ill pop in if I need to find something that I cant find anywhere else.

I never leave empty handed when I go here.

While many of the books here are half-price, there are books here that are somewhat more than half price. I always feel bad when I see a book I loved on sale here, because that usually means they didn’t sell as well as they had hoped. One time, I saw a whole bunch of the box copies of the PC game Puzzle Pirates. That was a great game. This store is next to The Exclusive Company. Which is a record store. But we didn’t go in there.

I have enjoyed this Gem of a store for many years! They offer a great selection of used and new items all at fantastic prices. Odds are if your looking for it, the have it! Books, movies, games, calendar’s and much much more!

Books on gunfights an lawmen r now mixed with general Americana. Liked it better when it Was old West section.

Gotta love a Half Price Books location. This location takes COVID seriously with directions and capacities for people being in the building. They have a great selection of books, music and movies like all the other locations, and you never know what you might find here! Staff is very polite and I love coming here.

Small bookstore with packed shelves full of books, collectibles, music, and games. It has a sort of comic book store vibe. I went in looking for workbooks and craft ideas for small grade school children, and even though there was only a section of a shelfs worth in selection, I was able to find a good amount of material.

Great selection, friendly staff, lots of interesting stuff. If you go to sell expect to get a pawn star style lowball offer thats almost insulting. Youre better off having a garage sale.

I drove 35 minutes just to stop in and browse, like I have nearly once a week for the last two years. Sadly, however, I discovered that they had changed their store hours this past weekend, and were now closed at the time I often visit. I am more than a bit disappointed and rather turned off by the whole experience, especially as the staff member who, apparently, forgot to lock the door was less than friendly when discovering her mistake. Not the first time I have been disappointed by the staff at this location either.

A good place to buy second hand books. The staff are courteous. But not a good place to sell used textbooks. The price they pay is $1 to $3 per book that originally costs $50 and above.

Clean, and employees took extra measures to sanitize surfaces. Masks required! 😷👍I heard two seperate employees helping other guests, and they were both polite and succinct. Great selection of romance books. Will be back soon!

I love this place. They dont always have exactly what Im looking for, but its a great place to look before I buy new books. The staff is usually very helpful and knowledgeable so when Im having trouble finding a particular author or book, they almost always know where to look. It is very clean and organized. Love it!

I was back in-town to visit family for the holiday, and this place has not changed one bit. It is still one of the most warm and inviting book stores in-town. It may not look like a Barnes and Nobles, and thats completely OK because it shines with familiarity.

This was my first time dealing with Half Price Books. I had quite a few books to sell. The staff were very helpful and even assisted with carrying the books from my car to the store. I had to sign in and wait for about 20 minutes to get my quote for the booksOffer was a little low but what can you expect. Parking is easy and the store is easy to find. OK experience.

Half price books is environmentally conscious and thrifty. You can sit down and read a chapter if you need to before purchasing. Great selection, and its so nice that they can buy books, records, and movies from you. All half price books needs is a little cafe and occasional poetry readings.

My children and I love to visit this location. There is always a great selection. We can stay here for hours. The staff members are great and always helpful. I love that they have more than just a book selection. They have Cds, vinyls, T-shirts, journals, boardgames, DVDs and many more great finds.

A favorite place of mine when it has been time to clean up and downsize. They do a quick and fair job of providing an offer for items Ive brought in. In addition, I often find some unique items that I leave with. Great job!

I always love HPB, and wish there was one closer to me! The store is well organized and the staff is real friendly and helpful. Just a suggestion(for any/all locations), have somewhere maybe the guests can look up a book without asking a worker. Sometimes Im looking for a specific one and feel weird asking. Great place to buy used books and other media. They have a great selection and they recently added a small section for discounted newly released books.I usually go there for manga and they have an updating section w great deals!

Enjoy non fiction, science, geography, history. I always find something good to read. Also great place for cook books too. Plenty of fiction too. Pretty good DVD selection too, but sometimes I can do better at the box stores price wise.

The majority of things sold by Half Price Books are used, but they also carry lots of new games and books as well. The store also has a section for rare books, as well as a vast selection of DVDs and video games. Half Price Books also gives you cash for books you bring in and dont want anymore. So if you have lots of books or movies at home, and want to get some new ones to replace them, Half Price Books is the place to do it.

Well stocked book store with plenty of staffing and a decent amount of room to move around in. A lot of music in vinyl, CDs and other mediums. Staff seem professional and courteous. Plenty of parking.

I love that when you check out they ask you if you found everything all right. You dont go there knowing what you want. You go there to see what catches your eye and says take me home.

Been shopping there since 1999. I recomend good place to get what you need no doubt but dont bother selling your things to them. Youll see the same product they paid you 1 dollar for listed at 25 dollars. Just sell it in bulk on ebay plus a better range of ppl are looking.
