I have bought two cars at York Pontiac during a 12 year period. I have always gotten great service each time I have to take my car in for any type of service. They are always friendly and helpful.One thing that I just love is they will come to my employment (same town) and pick my car up and bring it back when it is done. That is simply a great service and I really appreciate that type of service!If they have to keep my car, most of the time they have a loaner car for me to drive until my car is ready. Another awesome service! Sometimes, their loaner cars are all out and thats really ok. Im just happy when Im able to have one!

Everyone was wonderful! Josh (salesman) couldnt have been nicer and patient with me while he told me about all the bells and whistles and how they worked. Laura (finance manager) was fabulous too! I think wed be great friends outside of the dealership. She made sure I understood everything before signing it. Fabulous experience all around! Like every other dealership. Once the deal is made. dont get the same attention to detail as you get when your buying the car. I always had to follow up. Just like now. I was suppose to get a call more than two weeks ago so I could bring my car in for work.Never got the call

When they brought my car back there was oil leaking from underneath my vehicle. Once popped the hood open, there was oil EVERYWHERE!! They came back out to look at my car and told me it wasnt engine oil, it was transmission fluid. They took my car back to the shop, checked everything out and cleaned it up inside and out bc OIL was all over the front of my car as well. Was told that it was in fact engine oil and that it had got spilled and not cleaned up. But then charge me $63 for my oil change!!!!

Very friendly and accommodating to the problems that I had. Was a little difficult getting an appointment but due to the nature of the repair a loaner was needed and until they got one I could not get in. After they got one everything was fine and I would highly recommend them to anyone

Had a transmission oil leak fixed on my new truck but there is oil all over the bottom of the truck. It seems to me that the leaked oil should have been cleaned off of the truck bottom.Since my review, York cleaned my truck’s under body and took care of my problem. I’m very happy with York.

Took over 2 months to find an engine to put in my fusion. Had it back for a day and it over heated again. Went without it for over a week and a half got it back again and bam it over heated again. Took it to a different shop and Come to find out it was the same issue that should have been resolved the first time. My Paint job on my bumper was done very poorley. Plus my body parts on my trailblazer was placed on poorley. I will never refer anyone to this body shop. & will be talking with a lawyer. Take your car else we’re for your service/body needs.

I’ve never experienced a vehicle purchase such as this and yes, I’ve done it too many times. My salesperson was Christina Walters and all I can say is wow. I can see why she’s been there for quite sometime. She’s very driven! She books around like how I could only wish coffee would affect me. Very professional, pleasant and personable and it was very clear she was doing everything in her power to make things to be as smooth and efficient as possible as if it was how she would like it for herself all the while pausing for any questions I had and not acting rushed during those moments. If I had known about her prior to arriving, I would have requested to do business with her. I would also like to say the above is true for their sales manager, Rick Wright... Must be something in the water over there haha. Sorry for rambling but from sales to finance (very pleasant lady) to their service department getting my vehicle prepped to leave. I’ll never go anywhere else now.

I will never buy a truck from them again. Bought a 2013 ford f150 xlt ecoboost. The day I left in in a light come on for the down hill descent. I called they took it in but of course they cant work on it because its a ford. They sent it to Plainfield making feel like its my fault. They ended up having to put a rack and pinion in it. I know its my fault for not getting a warranty but they done there inspection and said theres no issues with truck. I told the main guy what all it was doing they said well we got to drawl a line somewhere so all they did was fix the light issue. I pulled out on the highway today and my truck fell on its face. Again Ive only had this truck 2 months and dont even trust it to go to Crawfordsville and its only 40 minutes away. They shouldve fixed everything that was wrong. And Im a single dad going week to week. Rodney your the one who said u have to drawl a line somewhere. U guys didnt do a inspection on my truck if u did u would know everything wrong with it and shouldnt of sold it the way it is. Instead u screw people over

Excellent Service! I just bought the truck from them and its a beautiful truck! Then not too long after someone plowed into it in a park I g lot. So I took it back to them because they do body work as well. Not only did they do an amazing job on my truck, but they got it done in the time frame they promised. And Joe was very polite and answered all my questions. Highly recommended if your looking for body work. Also, they have Enterprise on site and you can get the rental vehicle without to another place. And the guys at Enterprise were fenomanal as well. If your looking for a total package of awesome service dont look anywhere else. A+ IN my books.

I had a great experience at York. I had purchased my last few vehicles at Indianapolis dealerships but my time York surpassed all that. For one thing , there was no pressure from my salesman Josh. I had a particular vehicle in mind when I visited but the lack of dickering and time wasted during the whole sales cycle was refreshing. No pressure during the financing portion either. So many dealerships pressure you to add all sorts of things to your purchase but York acts as if you are old enough to know what you want and what you dont. I appreciated that as well as spending half the time I usually do for the overall experience on a weekend. Everyones time is precious. Nice down home environment. Thanks York. This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and not pushy in any way. I couldnt believe it from my first contact after clicking the price watch on the Silverado Pickup I was interested in. Within 5 minutes after pushing send I received a call from Andrea asking if I had any questions and if Id like to set up a time to look at it and schedule a test drive. An appointment time was set up the next day, at my convenience. I was met by my sales rep, Tony Wagner, and he had the truck sitting ready to go, and showed me many of the features of the truck. We then came inside and quickly came to an agreement on price, which was fair to both of us. My wife and I came in the next morning and met with Director of Finance,Laura Belledin. Laura had all of our paperwork ready, and was very informative of the several options we had, and even offered to assist us later if we had any questions or concerns. She was very friendly, and professional, taking the time to explain what we were signing in a very easy to understand manner. Worst place I have ever seen. They don’t care about anything but taking your money. Unless you’re looking to buy BRAND NEW I would never send my worst enemy to buy from them. They sold me a “perfect running truck”. I bought a 2012 dodge Laramie 5.7l and I did buy it as is but I drove this truck for a half hour! I wasn’t even home and the check engine light came on and it turned out to be a misfire on cylinder 2. I popped the hood and seen that the coils and spark plugs had been changed recently and didn’t fix the problem so they sold it as soon as they could. They wouldn’t even make me a happy customer and help fix it or anything. Instead they told me to take it to Crawfordsville even tho the truck had been serviced in greencastle it’s whole life. They did nothing but take my money and instead of taking the time to keep me as a customer they tried pinning the problem off on me and another dealership. Horrible service and I wouldn’t ever even consider buying off them again. If I could give 0 stars I would

Went to the Walmart across from York Chevy. Waited 2 hours just to have them tell me they couldnt change the oil in my Jeep because they couldnt get the plug off. Went straight to York Chevy and CJ in service had me done in no time! Class act.Walked the lot with Michael, one of their seasoned Salespeople and was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. All around great impression of this business!

Drove an hour to be disappointed because the vehicle was not as promised. Needed $4,000 in repairs, and they were considering sending it to the auction instead. Inside smells like an ashtray. Oh, sorry, we didnt know you were coming. Thats just a third party that does all the follow up communication for us. Never. Considering. Them. NEVER EVER. Disrespected my time and travel. Grrr.

Im from out of state and recently had repair work done here on our GMC vehicle after an accident. Short story is just about every major system that was repaired had to be re-repaired in some way by my local dealer. O-ring left off AC hose so all the refrigerant leaked out, strut that was placed on our vehicle (used part as dictated by our insurance) was locked and not functional, windshield wiper fluid hose was both kinked and leaking and did not work, and to top it off, OEM replacement horn for some reason required my vehicles connector to be cut and spliced on the horn wires (turns out it wasnt OEM and sounded like it was from a kids toy). Added an additional 1.5 weeks my vehicle had to spend in the shop.One positive is Joe in the body shop is a great guy and helped us out quite a bit after our accident on a Friday afternoon right at closing before a major holiday - body work was great and done well. Mechanical work was shocking for a GMC dealership.

Today I drove my Camaro, to York Chevrolet in Greencastle, from Terre Haute. It was time for oil change and the 27 point checkup. It’s always worth the trip. The service department is great. They take your vehicle in at the appointment time, take good care of your vehicle and get the service done in a timely fashion. They are friendly and always make you feel like, they were glad to see you and your car again. I enjoy seeing my favorite salesman, Joshua Holt and visiting with him. York Chevrolet in Greencastle is the best dealership to buy your vehicle and then take it back to them for service.

Worst place ever to get a vehicle repaired I took my truck in needing an oil change and lights I had to ask them 3 times if they changed the oil they finally got that done but told me I had to take the truck somewhere else to get the lights done who has ever heard of a dealership that can not do lights, I dropped the truck off at 8 am I didnt get it back until 330pm and nothing was fixed except after reminding them 3 times they did change the oil. But now I am looking for another place that can do lights and wont ever go back there again with any vehicleYes it was a company truck I brought in to be serviced and now I have a new appointment with another place for lights since you cant do them

It was great til after they got their money.. So I came in to look at a car told it should fit my price points etc , it did not .. so instead it was a Buick encore i was showed next. Wasnt too thrilled about it after being shown other cars, but the sales man said they could get my old ring out of my car I saw fall down in the counsel. they were so sweet. After trading cars I had been messaging the dealer for 3 days (March 5th-March8th)back and fourth about the ring, said they had tried once, and they were having another guy try. I messaged him March 12th asking of anyword since no one ever got back to me in the previous days. He said oh I think theyre getting into it today ill double check. then I got a text back 3 days after that (March 15th) that they did it finally and couldnt find it. That i personally saw fall down there, and i called because I HAVE to have that ring back its in a contract, which was expressed to the salesman during the purchase. I was speaking to Rodney about what can we do, can i return the car and get mine back since they cant get it out, do they honor buyers remorse or offer a return policy 30 days etc as I know some do. He got upset, very rude, and short quickly. HE said i set your car to the side 3 days already, Im not wasting more time and money on this. I do not have the time. You can not return it, it is already a done deal. I need to have ur car ready to sell. No we do not honor buyers remorse either. There is no returning your new car. He was very rude and short tempered... Ive spoke to friends who worm at other dealerships who say this is ridiculous what Im dealing with because if im already not thrilled about the car, AND they cant get the ring out like they saod they could i shouldnt have to keep the car. the car is nive dont get me wrong biicks are beautiful. just shocked how quick he was to say no and be so rude.

Ok i just want to warn everyone DO not let them work on your car while the sales staff are great the service staff are scam artists i took my lesabre in and they told me that the mass airflow sensor was bad charged me 600 for a new 1 then 2 weeks later im broke down again so i took it into my chevy dealer they ran their tests and told me it was the mass airflow sensor i responded that it had just been replaced 2 weeks ago they did not know it was another chevy dealer they showed me the part and told me that i should always go to a dealership because their are many dishonest mechanics and that all the last mechanic had done was clean the sensor which let the car start running agian and then charged me for a new one so without knowing my dealer also a chevy dealer told me that york was scamming its customers now this was 6 months ago and now my wife breaks down in her cruz the only dealer we can afford to tow the car to is york so against my better judgement we take the car their now the problem was a coolant leak they tell me the coolant housing is cracked ok makes sense since it was leaking on the ground they charge me 700 this time i drive it off of the lot and all the sudden im dumping tons of white smoke out the tailpipe so much that running the car just to get home.drained the coolant system once again i take it to my dealership and they inform me that the coolant system was improperly put together and to much pressure built up and blew my head gasket so now her car is down until i can get 2100 so twice york totally screwed me so dont take your car their even other chevy dealers say their scam artists
