Came in for oil change and a noise I was hearing. The mechanic did inspection/oil change wrote up his findings.Could not pin point exact noise. Thats okay. Problem and reason for my review is the lack of response for a quote to repair the noted items. The mechanic said I needed to replace a torn part and soon it could be dangerous and leave me stranded. On the 3rd day I had to call and was told that referring part wasnt the most important issue and needed to put my attention toward the other issue timing cover leak that was the most important thing. I was assured I would get a call back. Today marks 2 weeks, no quote, no explanation. I wish this review be accepted as a learning experience. We dont know as a business if things need to be improved. Please use this to encourage your staff, and create a process to follow up with customers even after their business is complete. Happy calls help the gray areas in businesses to offer your employees praise or see areas you need help improvement.

Had a great experience here having front end work done on my E350 motorhome. Great work, and they even double checked things after I had my alignment done elsewhere. Michele is phenomenal at her job and was fabulous every time I spoke with her. I will come back here any time Im in the area. Thank you to everyone!

I called because my wifes alternator failed. They got me in the same day at a price lower than I could find anywhere else. I then took my car in for tires. They ordered the tires and when I came in for installation they had me on the road again in less than an hour. Again at a lower price than I could find elsewhere.

I brought my car here after having a very bad experience with another business in Green Valley, having to return my car three times to try to fix errors with balancing and scratches they had put on my rims. Polsky staff (especially the very nice lady at the front desk) was friendly and helpful going above and beyond which seems to be difficult to find anymore. I will be returning and would highly recommend this business.

We brought our van in to make sure it was ready for an out of town trip we had planned a week later. We were assured the work would be done by the morning of our trip. It was not done as promised. The office manager was only interested in making excuses and did not even apologize for making us miss our trip. This place is unprofessional and does not deserve your business.

Highly recommend. Went for an oil/filter change on 03/16/2020. Good price on the oil change. Done quickly and free tire rotation. Now the best part. Doing their routine checks of the vehicle they told me my battery, which was less than 3 years old, was bad. It had been working fine but they stated it was something to be looked at. Because I had purchased the battery from Advance Auto in Florida on 03/22/2017 with a three year replacement warranty I took it to Quest Auto in Tucson which is now owned by Advance Auto. They put their tester on the battery and immediately stated it was bad and needed to be replaced. So Polskys great work allowed me to get a replacement for free on my battery saving me $160.00. Nothing but kudos for Polskys from me. Thank you for your great work.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change the mechanic found 2 or 3 issues I was not provided a the day of service for repairs I had to call back 3 days later still no I was told I would receive a phone call back now that its over 2 weeks I am disappointed it certainly a missed opportunity because theres no follow up process in place

Fantastic and trustable service. I have had no issues getting my truck serviced here on multiple occasions and the prices arent outrageous.

So yesterday I learned I have a screw in my tire. First 2 phone calls to other tire companies netted me curt responses to my requests for assistance with quoted wait times of up to 5 hours, and no appointments accepted. One call to Dave Polsky and I have an appointment for tomorrow, with assurances that I could come and get air in the tire to tide me over till the following day. A+ customer service on the phone!!!

We purchased a set of tires for our Ram 3500 pickup truck. Service was very good and the Manager did a very good job of selling us the tires. We were able to make an appointment for the installation the next day. Installation was fast and on time. We are very pleased with our tire purchase there and will go back for sure!

Michele and the team at Dave Polsky took care of my dads car. He always raved about the service he received there. When he passed away, I flew down to Arizona with the intent of driving his 21 year-old car back to Washington State. I just wanted to be sure it was safe-ish to drive. They gave it a once-over, shared some concerns, but nothing that needed addressing right then. Im happy to say that both the car and I survived the 1500 mile drive. Great place! Had an emergency muffler fix. Being new to town, this was a random pick for auto service, but we were lucky! They got us in right away. It took about 2 hrs, but very friendly and knowledable, Michele kept us entertained because everyone that came in while we waited was someone she knew, and it was nice to hear here ask about what folks had been up to, how everyone was etc...They fixed the vehicle, price was so reasonable, even squeezed in an oil change. Would highly recommend this place. So hard to find a place that you feel you can trust. Michele treated us like family, and that is priceless!!

My wife and I broke down between Green Valley and the Mexico border. The manage at Dave Polsky, Michele set us up with a tow into the shop. It was 4:30pm when we got there and they started looking at my truck right away. She was willing to keep the shop open past closing to try and get us on the road. We were tired and elected to spend the night in Green Valley. Michele gave us a ride to a nice local hotel which was within walking distance from many restaurant options and a drug store. The next morning they were able to reset the code in my vehicle and get it up and running. They were not able to replace the parts that were in question but we elected to try and get the truck home in Phoenix. Because Michele could not guarantee the repair we were charged nothing. In these times of outrages diagnostic fees and shady repair shops you do not find this level of service any where in Arizona. Green Valley is a lovely little quaint town. Everyone was very friendly and they have the best auto repair shop in the world. Thank you Michele with Dave Polsky Tire and Auto Centers.

We were visiting Green Valley from Vermont 8 months ago. I had a nail in the sidewall edge of the tread on our truck. I knew from prior experience with nails that it could not be repaired. Dave worked with me to get the tire covered under my tire warranty even though it was not their standard warranty work. The service was great.So we moved to Green Valley and today I found that we had a nail in the tread of my car. (I hate nails.) I called to ask if they could repair it and Michelle said come over in 1 hour and we will take care of it. And they did. Great service and we found them to be reasonably priced.Yes, I would be back (I was once and will again) and would recommend them to friends.

Michelle always goes the extra mile to make sure that we are cared for and always does a fantastic job explaining what services are necessary, and what can wait. Michelle is amazing! She takes the time to explain whats needed and why, she even takes you out into the garage to show you the problem. I was experiencing a pull to one side and after switching sides with the front tires the pull went the other way. With only 3k miles on the tire i brought it back to the dealer that it was purchased from. They wanted $135 for a front end alignment or $90 to look into the tire. I then went to Dave Polsky and the manager Michele was tremendously friendly and very willing to help with my problem. I thank her for this and highly recommend them for your auto needs.

These people are the biggest ripoffs in Green Valley. Let me start by saying I drive less than 4000 per year. (My car is a 2000 model and it has 42000 miles on it.) I bought 4 new tires from them in 2009. Got a nail in one the other day. They claimed it was not under warranty because I had ridden on it flat (not true). Then they told me that in addition, since I hadnt rotated my tires every six months it would not be under warranty anyway. When I questioned the owner himself on this, he said, no, you just had to rotate the tires every other oil change. Since I only get my oil changed once a year. I had paperwork to show I had the tires rotated every other year (every 8000 miles). When I brought this up to Michelle, she then told me that it wasnt under the warranty because I hadnt had the alignment checked every 6 months. Im telling you, they make stuff up as they go along, to not honor their warranties. So, I was stuck for a tire, and the claimed I had to buy 2 new ones in order for the car to be balanced. A total rip-off.Also, several months back they quoted me $900 for a job that I had done elsewhere for $500. They are a rip-off. And they always find something more wrong with the car when you bring it in for something else. That same thing happened to a woman while I waiting there. Stay far away!

I am in Green Valley frequently with work and Ive been here for a few repairs over the years. I am impressed each time with how courteous and genuine the staff seems to be. During my last visit, they told me that my wait would be about three hours longer than expected. Then they offered to give me a ride to work AND pick me up when done. Excellent service.

Took car in for an oil change - completed quickly - started home and every warning light possible came on - took it back. It took the mechanics all of two minutes to determine that there was major pack rat damage to the wiring. In addition there was a problem that Nissan had sent out a Service Bulletin - which really means there is something wrong with the car but we are not paying for it - something short of a recall. Anyway two and half days later car is fixed. Michelle and her crew did a terrific job fixing the car and it runs great. She kept me informed of the progress. They did the work for a very good price - It was very stressful and the last thing you want to hear is that there is a problem with the wiring somewhere on a computerized car. THANKS guys.

Broke down on the freeway and the helped me find a tire and then kindly took it off the truck brought it to the shop and then went back to mount the tire...I dont recommend breakong down on the side of the road but if you do and they are close thats who you need to call....girls at the desk are A++...

They couldnt mount my tires for very valid reasons and were very kind about it and is not at all the reason for the negative review. When I went back in to pick up my keys they told me the keys were left in the car. I went back to my car and the keys were sitting in the ignition. Literally anyone could have gotten in and driven my car away and nobody would have noticed and on top of that they were just letting my battery drain with the keys in the ignition. Absolutely ridiculous.

Liers, and Gross Negligence. I wouldnt trust my life with these guys again. It started when I was looking for the best deal in town to mount and balance used tires that I bought elsewhere. I called and over the phone they said $53.92. I go in and then they say $80, then when I told them the used tires were on different rims, they added $20 to the bill. AND THEN, they wanted to add $14 for tire disposal. I haggled them down to at least $80, and I kept my old tires. Then 2 days later, Im looking at my tires and I noticed that they looked low, so I checked and the front right was 28 psi, and the left was 35 psi. And both rear were 50 psi. (Truck requires at least 65 psi). And I know they aired the tires down, because the guy asked me how much air to put in the tires. Low air pressure in front tires on this truck can cause death wobble. I will not return.

OLD SCHOOL SERVICE AND VALUE!!!Dave Polsky has earned a new customer in me...heres the story...Auto shops get a bad rap because some of them are run by crooks, period. I was unlucky once to run into such a place. I went there for an AC charge, got talked into struts...was promised OEM stuff (not what I got)...and one lie led to another...almost sued them. Dave Polsky has renewed my faith in independent shops.My car is a 2001 Toyota Avalon that I treat like gold. When it needed a timing belt and a new axle, I brought it to Dave Polsky. Got sick of traveling to Precision Toyota in Tucson. After the initial belt replacement, the check engine light remained on. And the car had some major pulling issues after the axle replacement. I thought to myself, Here we go again with independent mechanics...Well, I came in and got to know Dave...who gave me a free rental for a couple days over the weekend in case there were any safety issues. The following Monday, I talked with Michele, his manager, who had highly touted the shop and their head mechanic, Jason. I was not real happy...and she could appreciate my problems...first time in and it seemed to all go wrong.Then they showed the old school magic. Jason found out the reason the check engine light was coming on. The belt they had put in had a slightly different calibration from the original Toyota belt...at least for my model and year. So, they got the authentic one and reinstalled it. Problem solved!!The pulling issue remained...and there were some weird noises too. All of this got worse AFTER he put in a new axle. This really peaked my skepticism. It turned out to be pure coincidence. After some clever thinking by Dave and Jason, they checked my strut mounts. Sure enough, there was the problem!!!The crook that did my struts years ago? He supposedly replaced those, but he didnt. No problem, Jason put in new ones, replacing both the strut mounts in the front. All the noise and pulling?? COMPLETELY GONE!!!My Avalon is back to the way it used to be. They found a problem that had been bugging me for years...getting progressively worse...and the Toyota dealers had no clue!!!You can guess where I bring my car from now on....DAVE POLSKY!!! If you want old school service...to get treated like family...you just come here!!! You will be very glad you did!!Dave and his crew are top notch!!! A breath of fresh air, old school treatment in a world that doesnt seem to understand what that means anymore. Thank you, Dave, Michele and Jason!!!

My grandpa went there and they told him he needed brakes all the way around. He then took it to BrakeMax in Green Valley. They looked at it and said his brakes were fine. My other grandpa went there and they tried to take advantage of him too. This is not an honest business according to my grandpas.

ON 01/12/2017 MY 2006 FORD MUSTANG HAD ITS RIGHT REAR TAIL LIGHT REPLACED. IT COST WITH LABOR ABOUT $40! INCREDIBLE--I COMPARED THAT WITH OTHER PLACES WHERE THEY WOULD JUST CHARGE FOR THE BULB OR CHARGE $15 MAX. IT ONLY TOOK A MOMENT AND WAS EASILY ACCESSIBLE. THE LABOR WAS MORE THAN THE PCV VALVE THAT WAS INSTALLED. THE PCV VALVE WAS ALSO HIGHER COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES. CONSIDERING I HAVE HAD A THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK ON THE MUSTANG AT POLSKYS IN THE PAST MONTH, THIS WAS A SHORT-SIGHTED CHARGE THAT LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER. SHOP AROUND.

This review is for the car rental portion of Dave Polskys. They are the Hertz local representative in Green Valley, AZ. The car they gave us was brand new, clean and ready to go when we got they. I am a Hertz #1 Club member which seems to mean little at the airports now, but I got Gold Service from Dave. Just handed me the keys and the contract and we were on our way. On the return I forgot that I take the fuel option so I filled up the tank. Without asking they called Hertz and credited us for the gas. I tell ya I wish businesses everywhere acted like this.

Told complete diagnostic was done and car mneeded a new computer. WRONG. at another garage after 16 minutes doing diagnostic 100% not computer but catalog converters. Polaski $3000. New garage. $1300 . What a difference and car is actually fixed.

The most honest garage in Green Valley/ Sahuarita area. In the last couple of years I have spent over $4000 here to keep my high mileage vehicles well maintained and running like new. Not once have a felt like I was being taken advantage of. If I wanted to feel that way I would go to a dealer or one of the half dozen garages that I pass on my way from my house to get to Dave Polsky Tire & Auto garage. In fact until I found Daves garage, I went to another well know shop in the Sahuarita/Tucson area. Here I had my struts change only to have a major alternating pulling problem depending on which way I turned. Two days later when I got it back in after 2 hours of them trying to do multiple alignments, I was told to not worry about a major problem with my front suspension that was found with my lower A frame bushings. I took it to another shop to verify how bad it was. That shop showed me the bushings were so wore out that the tire on one side move over 3 inches without moving the other one, yet the shop that change my struts didnt even notice the problem and told me that it was ok to drive my family in it.I have spent numerous hours in the waiting area of Dave Polsky Tiren and Auto and have never felt like they were trying to get one over on a customer, but I have been in over shops in the area and have heard things that I know was wrong due to my mechanical knowledge of working on cars for over 30 years.Over the last couple of years I come to know David and Michele due to them doing my required maintenance for my vehicles. Thru this I have found out from personal experience and being at the shop that they just have their customers best interest and safety in mind. Once you create a relationship with them too, you know that there is no better place to have your vehicle repaired.

I emailed a schedule request for a tire rotation and never received a confirmation. I emailed a request also for a price quote on said service and never received a reply. I emailed a schedule request from Firestone in Sahuarita for the same info and received a response within an hour. Guess which merchant will get my business?
