I was so disappointed that a guy that works for this store that is the head store manager could not even go and the back and check two see if they had the cat food I was looking for because they were out of it and they just had a truck come in that day it was late but it was all on load and the truck was gone because I went and look he was more thinking of his self and buyingHis soda than me will never shop here again they lost me for good

Friendly staff . It seems like they try there best to keep it clean but its an old store that sells discount groceries so it doesnt always have the nicest appearance inside . If that doesnt bother you , you can find some great deals . Alot of the products are just fine run of the mill.generics .Youll have to bag your own groceries. So be prepared for that . Only 2 cashiers , Tops , but they are usually fast and friendly .

Great store with even greater prices. Meat and produce is plentiful and priced below other stores nearby. They also carry an assortment of local and unique niche products you cant find anywhere else, not just their in house brands. Overall the selection and the employees are super friendly and I love going here

Good prices, good quality, a wider variety than I expect from a true discount grocery chain. Their everyday price on ice cream is exceptional. Would be 5 stars, but the lines can get pretty long occasionally, but... ALL of the cashiers are top notch. You get to the cash register faster at Save A Lot than any place else when the lines are long.

Save-A-Lot is a really good store. They have a good selection of produce, meat, household goods, canned and frozen foods. They also have some cleaning supplies, sodas and chips. This store has good prices as we well.

Excellent Corner Grocery Store! They have most everything and it very attractive prices. It is clean and the people are friendly and helpful! It is an excellent neighborhood Grocery and serves the people well. It is always busy. I certainly liked it!

This store has awesome employees (Dousman St. In Green Bay .....the butcher cut my meat at no additional charge for sale priced roasts.....many stores wont do that on sale items....he went over and above with his friendly and more than willing to please service....I shop ALOT....and this is rare!!!So pleased with their service I doubled my original order and spent an extra hundred dollars at this store! The sales staff and management were also very friendly and helpful if I owned a business I would want them working for me! I will definitely shop here again !!

I honestly avoided this store until I moved to a nearby area, and now I shop here frequently just due to convenience. Draws an interesting clientele due to location, your likely to at least raise your eyebrows at several things during the course of your visit, but overall they have a decent selection, great prices, a wide variety of ethnic food, and quite a few deals or markdowns. Employees are actually quite friendly and helpful as well.

The pricing scheme of this place is great for young adults on their own in life. I went home with two carts for just under sixty dollars. Highly recommend it if youre low of cash, but need food.

Weve been shopping here 9 years for the little things. We do our major grocery run elsewhere with greater selection, but Save-A-Lot is great when Im spontaneously making something and run out of ingredients or dont want to travel farther to get a handful of items.Prices arent rock bottom but arent breaking the bank. We dont buy a lot of produce here, but when I do its usually fresh enough not to kill us. The staff is friendly enough to get me in and out.The biggest complaint I have is ease of navigating in/out of the parking lot. I dont know how they could improve this in their location, but I know 35 years ago our trips to the Exclusive Company didnt seem to include long waits to get out of the lot. Maybe traffic patterns have changed.

Not many name brand products but if you are a little short on cash you can get a lot of half way decent products. And not bad products at that. No need to worry about outdated products because everything there seems to be fresh. They do have some produce and a meat section with some Mexican imported meats.

Convenient for the neighborhood. However prices can be a little high due to the lack of competition. Produce department is not well stocked and you need to carefully check for moldy pre-packaged veggies like tomatoes. The meat department is small but offers a good product.

I shop here specifically for the the high quality of their meat department. The staff is friendly and efficient and the store is typically very clean.

Quality of fresher food isnt too good. I notice they are pretty expensive also for a local store centered in a urban area. They are guaranteed business from people who are less fortunate and cant get around. They also make alot from peoples benefits so why so expensive there then? Also I had to return a 20lb box of bacon. It was absolutely horrific smelling and gross. The good thing I can say is that the staff handled my issue with grace and gave us a full refund. I only go if its an absolute emergency. Im one of those by the way that doesnt have a car. Id rather bus all the way to Walmart or Festival to get something of better quality and thats hard with health issues at times.

Affordable basics like cereal, sugar, milk, tuna, soup, mac&cheese. Cheap, quality meats. And the crew is friendly, helpful and always joking.

Went in for some groceries tonight. The clerk was more interested in what was happening outside then doing his job. They had no bags to put our groceries in. Disappointed in the service tonight.

Another store like Aldis except you dont have to scour through the store for boxes bags are provided for you but you still have to beg for yourself at a counter after you check out

I have mixed feelings about Save-A-Lot overall positive ones and they have gotten better over the years. Kind of a low-class grocery store is my general perception budget off brand Aldis. If your looking for a quick pick up of produce or a bag of chips or ingredients to make tacos, or something to throw on the grill its a good little stop. If you are doing a full on a grocery trip this place is a little scary for me half and half should not have a ingredient list anywhere near that long I find myself saying things like that about many of the products in the store. Just makes me sad that companies feel like they need fill their food with so so much extra stuff just to make it inexpensive. The majority of the people I see in the checkout line are paying with food stamps card and lets just say theyre not going heavy on the produce aisle. I really wish Save-A-Lot could have higher quality food available for the low-income people of downtown Green Bay that all of our tax dollars are helping to fund.
