I was pleasantly surprised at how much this guy knew about bikes.You could probably ask him just about anything and Im sure he would either have the answer or have a guy that can help you out.Its pretty rare to have this from another person.I was really impressed with the amount of available parts for various bikes, of various sizes.If you are looking for old school Parts, this is where you need to go!I already let him know that I will be coming back. Rims! Tires!!Chains, frames and more, await!I found my preferred bike shop!**Update**Installed some of the parts for bikes that I bought here and Im liking the way my newest motorized bike build is coming together. (2020 bike buy/trade experience 1⭐) I went in with 3 bikes to trade-in and picked out 2 bikes in July. There has been no attempt at delivery and no communication about when I will get the bikes I picked out. Because of the traded bikes my kids have gone all of 2020 unable to ride. We are blessed with a short winter, still no bikes.Im embarrassed to have suggested this place because I feel so scammed; he stole my bikes and gave me a worthless recept.(2018 grand opening experience 4⭐)What a beautiful stage! There are a few little sound kinks that I have faith that will be worked out, but I seriously suggest Old Skool as a venue, but also for bike enthusiasts, knowledgeable, welcoming staff.

Old Skool Bicycle Shop is by far one of the best places to bring your bikes. They will service any bike with anything you could need for it, as well as building you your own bike from parts and frames around the shop. And its all reasonably priced

My son & his wife went there on a referral from a friend. He had his old bike repaired and bought a nice pre-owned bike for his wife. I decided to take my old bike in for repair. The guy was friendly. Told me he’d have my bike done in about 4-5 days and he’d call when it was finished. After a week I didn’t hear anything so I called. He said the bike was in the process of being repaired. A few days went by. Still didn’t hear anything. I drove by on a Wed am around 11. His sign indicated his hours were 10-7. Front door was locked. Went around the back and met a man who worked in another part of the building. He told me he didn’t know when the bike guy was coming in. I left my name & number, waited for a call. No call. Waited til the weekend. Called and finally touched base with the owner and got the bike.The bike was cleaned and repaired. It works fine. They did a good job on it. It just took a bit longer than expected. Would’ve appreciated a call back, especially after making a special trip to the place and leaving a note.Long story short, I’d go back if I needed anything. Also happy to send referrals. Sometimes business owners are more qualified with some aspects of their business. The place knows bikes and in my case fixed two of them very well. But the communication, customer service aspect needs work. Hopefully they can improve that part of their business. I’d like to see this business succeed. I’ll give them 3.5-4 stars.If you need a bike at a good price, go see them.

My bike broke while biking and this bike shop ended up being the only one open around me. I never heard of it before and thought well I will give it a try. Lance (the owner) was very kind and knowalgable on what he does. He talled through everything that he did and helped me understand everything. I used to go to the Bike Hub and get charged 70 bucks for a tune up, but i was only charged 20 bucks for a whole new rim and spokes with about an hour and a half of his time. Thank you your time and service! You have me as a loyal customer.

Lance, the owner, is a very fair and knowledgeable person. Wide variety of bikes and accessories and great rates on repair.

Lance is a great guy to talk to. Theres a year 1900 bike on the wall, with wooden rims, and the wheel still turns. A great selection of vintage bicycles, and a ton of more home frames, that can be made to order. The grand opening of the store is scheduled for Jun/21/2018. However, I could still get in to get a couple of bikes tuned up, for a good price.

GF put money down on an antique bike from this place end of last year as a Christmas present to herself. Deal was the bike shop was going to restore the bike. Almost a YEAR later, still no bike, no contact, last heard was a month and a half ago that the paint they put on was peeling off. Im sorry but it took you a year to find out paint was peeling off you have no idea what you are doing. Terrible communication, dont have them restore bikes.

Lance saved the day! When my front tire got damaged while driving up for the Door County ride, Lance got me back up and riding in no time. Friendly, professional, and affordable!
