I left one of my item there and finally went back to reclaim it with receipt. The store managers kept making excuses like need to check on CCTV, their DVD is not working.. finally they said they would gonna call me once they verify it. Such an ugly service system they have.. groceries are all very expensive anyway. Not going back. Recommend to Use NEW mart in bayside or try online for Korean groceries.

A few days ago I went to the restaurant on the second floor inside Plaza for lunch.I asked for $ 15 for an eel rice as shown on the menu, and she gave me a fried onion in the photo. I asked the waitress if the dish was correct and she answered yes. But there is a big difference between the two.I paid $ 15 for a plate of fried onions. ！！I will never patronize again and will tell others. This is a liar restaurant.

Less crowded than other H Marts. Decent size store and parking. Friendly staff. There are the people that help w/ the bagging of items during check out (not many H Marts in the area have that benefit).

This is a very good grocery store in my opinion. They offer a lot of fresh produce and a lot of items. The cashiers are also friendly and isnt rude. Overall, I would rate 5. It isnt very crowded too making this a good experience.

Bought a young coconut which was spoiled, tasted like vinegar so I threw it away. Contacted head quarters customer service for a refund or replacement, I dont have the receipt and neither did I use the member card, which usually I do, just didnt happen to have it that day. They took over 1.5 week to respond to 2 emails Ive sent with a picture of the coconut. It wouldve probably taken longer if I hadnt called today. Who in their right mind would keep spoiled food for a week in their home? Of course I dont have it. So anyway, they werent able to help me. Disappointed in their service. Even if it was just a $4 item, this is not something that I ever get and have ever seen before in Hmart. If you want coconut water, please purchase elsewhere like the health food store.That is not the first time I encountered spoiled food. When it was grape season, all of them had mold on it so didnt purchase. Take a good look at your produce. Not that you can see through a coconut...My family & I come shop here at least a few times a week because its so close but disappointed in how they handle- or rather didnt handle these issues. I think some locations are better than others but even headquarters need some changes. Id rather go to Trader Joes (far away) or Whole Foods (expensive) or Stop & Shop. If I had any issues, they were always resolved simply and quickly. Idk about my family but you lost me as a customer.

Very clean, orangize, and people are nice

The Asian supermarket that I can count on. Have a varieties of products (mainly from Korea). The store is clean and everything is fresh there. They have a membership program that you can apply for and use it to earn the point everytime when you go shopping.

The sweet and sour tofu that I have obtained today was not up to quality value. I dont know if this is a bad batch or if it was made to be this way but the tofu was hard to consume. Not only was the texture difficult to chew (tasted as if youre chewing plastic) but it was SPICY. My tolerance for spicy food is not that bad. I was under the notion that it was sweet and sour, not spicy to the point that it overwhelmed the other flavors it meant to have. This was given 2 stars because of adequate parking available and for the other foods that are just as tasty. Just not this one.

Bad workplace hygiene. Don’t buy their tobiko eggs. I bought then yesterday and found hairs in them and wanted to throw up. Disgusting - hmart needs some safety regulations

Nice Asian market, clean

The line was long (which was fine) but the cashier #1 had the bulk of the customers because no one was directing customers down the line (and the other lines werent calling for next customers). There should be a better system (maybe something USPS has that lights up when cashier is available for next customer), especially since the Hmart is in the smaller size and cant afford clogged aisles =)!COVID is here to stay, so I think a better system for check out would be helpful. Dont come to this place, all the workers here are EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! Especially the cashiers, they treat you differently when they found out you dont speak their language. Not even that, they give you attitudes and even ignored you. When you ask the guys on floor for help they dont even want to answer you. Manager dont even bother to speak with you when you want to complain about situation. REALLY BAD MANAGEMENT! Do not come here to shop, you will be disappointed.

Small H Mart. The hallway are very narrow and its almost impossible to fit two carts. Still very cheap and fresh items.

I absolutely loved this place!! There were plenty of samples to try out before you buy. My family and I went here for lunch. The food was very fresh and affordable. We bought even more food for dinner.

This sales tag, though. Reg. 1.99 Coconut on sale for 1.99. lol...Ive been to a fair number of H Marts, and as far as H Mart standard goes in NY, this seemed average. Hartsdale H Mart and Union H Mart are my favorites. 24 H Mart in Northern is the worst (fruit flies laying eggs on fruits and all).This place is okay. Not that different from Bayside H Mart. Both are average H Marts.

Korean supermarket with good selection

I have been going here for at least 10 years. They are the only store that sells mackerel. They have a wide variety of vegetables and good prices.

Easy parking

My go-to local store for essentials, Their inventory isnt the most robust to select from, their prices trend on the high side, but if I dont feel like traveling far, or just need to pick up some basics, H Mart is there.

UPDATE (March 2019):H-Marts exterior looks so much more welcoming now. I no longer wonder if the place is closed!The produce is still fantastic, price-wise and size!The cashiers are still hardworkers and friendly. I like a lot of the products here, seems fresh and clean. It is pricey, but my annoyance is with the workers specifically one guy at the fish section. I got red snapper fillets, there were only 4 pieces. The guy told me that the fish had been frozen, I didnt think much of it. Then he just went ahead and took 2 pieces that were already packaged. When he weighed it I noticed that it was ice solid, and I told him Im cooking it today, so can I please have the other two pieces (that werent already packaged). He gives me a bad attitude and insists that the frozen fish will be fine. I dont like to pick up fights so after asking a few times, I said ok.1) I freeze fish and meats all the time, but I went to the store to get something fresh to cook minutes after purchasing. And2) Im the customer, so I decide what I want. Him, the worker, should be polite and give me what I ask for.

Kimchi selection is great! Produce is clean and mostly inexpensive. This is where I get my Korean and Asian supplies.

The food available is great but the workers are so disrespectful by literally staring at you like there’s no tomorrow and it makes you extremely uncomfortable. I wish they had enough courtesy and manner to not do that and just glance when they need to and not stare at you.

This location is not a large as the new flagship store in Jerhico. However, its just as well stocked. The housewares & appliances are in another building across the parking lot.

Everything you expect from this Korean supermarket chain. Good produce section - surprising variety. Sunchokes? Who knew?The seafood and meats are fresh. Sushi grade available. I always come here for ahi to make poke. Or you can just order sushi from the counter.And the best thing yesterday... They are open on Christmas for those last minutes items for the family meal.
