We were first time buyers and wanted to look at new and used and was rudely told to leave an unlock camper because it was sold. Didn’t seem interested in accommodating us so we went to Becker Auto in Beloit which was 2 more hours away and WOW what customer service we received from Lydia! We bought a 2021 Keystone Avalanche and was taken care of from the moment we got there until we walk away. The salesman from Great Bend (Mr Doll) had no desire to assist us!

That was a enjoyable experience. From the time I was met at the door. I told the salesman again what I was looking for. They had more than just one of what I was looking for and at the price range of my needs. They made an offer for my Fuzion, we did an adjustment on the offer and I thought it was a good deal. The next day I met with the financial manager ,witch was even a better experience. Now I have an 5th wheel toy haller!! Great place to do business.

I have Jayco with the well-known fifth wheel side wall break in the frame ($80 K unit is still under warranty) that I bought at Harper Camper Land. When I called Harper Camper Land about it, all the service guy would say is I will get some paper work started and gave me no other info or suggestions. They never called back to tell me the process or what was going on, or what needed to be done. Service at HCL just will not keep you informed. They are good at lip service, but it ends there. When I call another dealer they told me what the fix process was, gave me a service number to call at Jayco, then followed up with an Email with the schedule for the fix, parts expected delivery and aprox date for fix. If you want an RV fixed, or want sevice after the sale, HPL is not the place. (HERE IS MY RESPONCE TO THE ANSWER FROM THE DEALER BELOW, BECAUSE i DO NOT GET A CHANGE TO REPOND TO THERE COMENT) If As HCL says only few dealser do this than why did they not tell me. All I wanted to know was the process! Jayco did a good job because when I called Jayco service they were very helpfull. AND this 2018 unit is not out of warenty! Jayco service looked at the Ser# and had no issues. Also I paid HCL $3000 for extended warenty so HCL is not taking care of me as a cusgtomer by keeping me informed. I guss I am just suposed to set and not know what is going on with my unit.

We are traveling from Minnesota to Arizona when we had trouble with out slides not extending. I took it to 2 places in Sioux Falls SD and they told me 2 things wrong with them that was not correct. On a whim I called Harper Camperland since we were going to pass through there. Cory said to come on in and he would get somebody to at least be able to tell what was wrong and if it could be fixed. Instead they got the slides to be able to go in and out. They said we should though get it thoroughly checked out when we get to Arizona which we will. Last night we were able to enjoy the evening and be so crowded. These people are so great. No wonder they get 5 stars.

If you want your repairs to be done against your wishes take your RV here. I said over and over again I want the microwave replaced because a part in it is applying too much current and blowing the fuse when you open the door while it’s running. Their solution? Don’t open the door while it’s running... They replaced a fuse I’d already replaced TWICE. So, lo and behold, it pops the breaker every time you even try to use it now. They also put our key under someone else’s name and told me I didn’t give them a key... I had to use “someone else’s key” to show them they labeled it wrong.*3 fuses blowing (ran out of slow blow after the first 2 blew) and a microwave that pops a breaker when opening the door while running is NOT operating as intended. It was evident that it will only continue to decline and the neglect and persuasion of Harper to convince the manufacturer of this speaks volumes of their service.*

I called trying to get an estimate on some repairs I need for my rv. They said they couldnt give me one without seeing it in person. I dont understand why they couldnt just give a loose estimate for parts and labor. Didnt seem like they wanted my business so Ill give me money to someone that does.

I have been a RVer for over 25 years and during that time have owned 4 trailers. This dealership provided the best service I have ever received. I drove from Austin, Texas, to get my travel trailer and it was well worth every mile and hour I spent driving. I genuinely appreciated the time spent with me for not just the walk through, but the financing, as well. The customer service is extraordinary.!!!

I talked with Reggie about my water heater issues and roof issues and he was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything before I left. I called back literally under my camper and he walked me through things step by step. Awesome service! If you are far out call before you drive into Great Bend but they will more than likely have it or can get it quickly.

Employees are friendly and helpful. Store is clean. They have a lot of rv stuff. There yard is FULL of high end rvs. Everything is just expensive. Example, 12v Florescent ceiling light S120 found on EBay for S30. If you want a new rv then they have a lot to choose. Theres an rv place in South Hutchinson KS that has way way more cool rv supplies and cool stuff that is very reasonably priced if your needing that sort of thing.

Review №36

Very disappointed with the service of our coach. Took it in to have a leak fixed in the front of our coach which was in the front air conditioner area. We were also needing the the rear air conditioner replaced and toilet ball gasket replacement. The last 2 items we had no problems. The front air conditioner I had asked them to pull it up and examine the seals and replace seals if needed as I need the roof fixed as it was destroying the ceiling panels. When they called after 2.5 weeks to let me know it was finished, I paid over the phone. They were kind in leaving it outside with our tow dolly hooked up. We arrived later that evening we ran both air conditioners and checked the toilet. All was working. My wife then discovered spots of what appeared to be grease spots on the carpet. I told her as long as all is working I would clean the spots and wouldnt bother them about the spots. I emailed them the next morning and told them that I would suggest that they cover flooring so this does not happen to anyone else.Last week we had rain and I decided to go check the coach for leaks as we ordered in 2 new ceiling panels to replace the bad ones under the front air conditioner. When I walked in I could hear water running. I looked over under the panels that are needing the panels replaced and water was literally running down on the sofa and the carpet. I placed a 5 gallon drain pan and vacuumed up what water I could get from the couch and the sofa. 1.5 gallons of water. I then had to go to work. I emailed Harper Camperland and explained what I found. They were nice and said I could drive it back over to them. I told them that they were the 2nd. place to repair this leak and now it was worse than it ever was. I told them I had decided to locate the problem and fix it myself as I didnt want to take time off work or spend money on fuel again. So, I found the problem and found 1 lag bolt that holds the air condition to the roof that was 1/2 from being tightened down. Then found that the lag bolt was a half inch short of threading into the aluminum support. The lag bolt was not long enough and if they would of looked at it, they would of discovered this. This was missed by 2 service people. Also found out these guys hadnt even pulled the air conditioner. They just applied sealant around where they could reach and squirted some on top of the lag bolts.I have been a service manager for 20 years and always thought that you could trust technicians. I was wrong. I have learned over the years that repeat customers is what keeps you in business if you perform good work and respect what the customer expects. I will add, the phone calls and emails were always respectful with their representative.Their invoicing and pricing was what I expected. I dont mind spending if I receive good service work in return.Just a warning to all needing a good rv service center, this would not be my first choice.

Talked to Jason at Harper camper land and requested a bid on a new 2012-RV 5th wheel. (Jayco Eagle) I explained that I was not going to mess around and play games on prices and that I had a 2007 (Jayco Eagle) that I wanted to trade in. The sales agent, named Jason, gave me a price and claiming he couldnt be beat. After deliberating on the unit and the price, my wife asked me to email him back and request a price on a unit that was a little more upscale (Jayco Pinnacle). (I guess women have the right to change their minds if they want to do so), and so do I if Im digging up my hard earned money for an expensive unit like either one of the above mentioned new, 2012 units. When I did, Jason emailed me back and quoted me part of my own text in a previous email to him, about me not wanting to fool around on the price and he stated... when we make up your minds then get in touch with him... basically, not until them. How rude is that? Really? What an A@#. I emailed him back and thanked him for his time. I didnt elaborate, but whether he knows it or not, it will be a cold day in HeQQ before he gets another chance to give us a price on another unit, used or new. I look at it this way... now I understant what our service after the sale would be like. Nightmare avoided! Hes out of the mix for good. Well look somewhere else and deal with people who appreciate our business. I dont know about other reviewers, but my wife and I work hard for what we have accumulated, and our cash is not going to be heading in his or Harperlands direction anytime soon. Sorry, Jason. Your loss! I can see that big L on your forehead (LOSER!). Maybe its time Harperland looks for another sales agent! One who might be a little less rude and shows a little more respect to their customers! Oh! By the way! Ill publish here when I have purchased our new unit and where we got it, so everyone can go and check out that RV dealer and read my review. Bye! Bye! Harperland!
