Summary:-In my opinion, bad work, not timely, increased prices, upholstery damaged from not putting covers on and storing in sun-Tried to get my to sign a legal release-Tried to give a discount to get me to remove my negative reviewI will continue searching for another boat shop for service.*Note: They will charge you 3% extra if you need to use a credit card*-Once I authorized them to take my boat from my slip, I got multiple calls asking how to turn the boat on.-They had my boat a total of 50 days for a full detail and to replace exhaust manifolds. When I went to inspect the work after 5.5 weeks, the boat was covered in dirt because, after it was detailed, it was outside. They did not put the covers on which I believe caused warping of my upholstery.-I was given a quote on the full detail and then I was charged an additional 20% above the quote.-Some of the decals on the sides were buffed off.-I was charged $300 for something I was told would be complimentary. I told them and they said they would give me $300 back as a freebie.-I was never told an estimated cost on engine repair (replacing exhaust manifolds), so this is my own fault for not asking, but this ended up being much more than I would have authorized had I known the price. Also, I was told that they have a 10 year warranty for these parts, but I never received that in writing.-When the boat was returned to me, the upholstery was discolored purple on the areas that contacted the new black boat cover I purchased through them. I brought this to their attention and they had the upholstery cleaned and it is no longer purple. Some areas of the upholstery were not cleaned (areas where front/rear seats can be spread apart to create a bench).-When the boat was returned to me, almost all of the contents of my storage had been placed in large black trash bags and left in the boats interior rather than being placed back in storage.-They asked me to Docusign a legal release after my 2 star review stating that they were not liable for any work done. I refused to sign a legal document stating that they are not responsible for the work they did.In response to the businesss response:1. COVID = common excuse.2. Contacted you at the beginning of summer, I was told 6 weeks. Waited for your call. It is inaccurate to say I gave you my boat expecting it to sit there for 4 weeks.3. The boat cover was purchased through your business and is on your receipt. I paid YOU for it the boat cover. It took 11 days to make.4. I did ask to not pick up the boat until the new cover was finished in order to avoid the boat getting dirty. My boat was kept out in sun with none of the old covers placed on the boat, so the upholstery warped and the inside got full of dirt.5. You gave a price on the full detail, not the exhaust manifolds.6. I dont understand why there would be a discrepancy in pricing for services you offer..7. Your words: no problem, you dont need to come to the shop, I got the boat very clean, you dont be disappointed this time, an apologize for the las time... I left a 2 star review describing my bad experience I was told that you would not return it until I signed a legal release, something I was not going to do. I paid to have my boat picked up and delivered back. The could have been returned any time, so the extra days were only required because I was asked to sign a legal release I was not comfortable signing and you refused to return my boat.

My motor on our boat was running rough. I contacted David at GRC Marine at Scott’s Landing in Grapevine. New management is great! Gerry, Rosie and Carolina are all fine people! They were able to diagnose the problem and have it fixed in time for the weekend! Went out yesterday and she’s running great! Thanks to all of you at GRC! Great service!

I cant say enough great things about Bill, Barbie and the Taylor marine crew. After having to have an engine swapped TWICE due to detonation/bad injectors they were there to help me every step of the way. They are very courteous genuinely great people. They were there for the test runs to make sure everything worked out and even after a few minor issues showed up weeks after the engine was running logging hours they were there to go out to my boat at the slip and take care of the issues. They do not try to oversell you on work that may need to be done, they give you options and they keep you informed. Thanks again Taylor marine, you guys are awesome!

This is in the same location as the old Taylor Marine but with new ownership. Took my boat in to have something checked out and the shop manager Jose ( I believe that is his name) walked me through everything and showed me it was an easy fix. He was very honest and took care of the issue. I will definitely be going back there for any service needs.

I left my boat for a small issue that was suppose to take one week. Turns out it would take a month and was never even fixed just to turn around and have to pay $325 for nothing. Both batteries in the boat are ruined and trailer tire ruined from dragging in the rocks. I would not recommend going to this shop.

They had my boat for about 4 or 5 months. Brought it in for an engine service because it was a used boat and I wanted to make sure it would be lake ready. Now the engine wont even turn over. So not only did I recieve my boat/engine in a non working condition. They also had it for over 90 days which is a bit ridiculous.edit. says I never answered my phone, when I actually called them 4 to 6 times and was told that either A.) they needed to find a new boat mechanic or that the owner wasnt in and would get back to me, and they assume i just let my boat sit for 9 months, it was taken after a week having it back and it ran very rough (chalked it up to being worked on and thought it would sort its self out, it didnt) and I am now just leaving the review after taking it to a better mechanic and it running flawlessly. Just sharing my experience, that is all.

When I first purchased my boat they did a pre-purchase inspection. They also performed a full maintenance on it. Everything was great and they were fantastic to deal with through the whole process. I have been extremely happy. Any time I have an issue, they are who I call.
