Bought a Halloween mask from them and didnt realize it was $60 because there was no price tags on anything and nothing saying no returns for Halloween item except on the receipt now Im stuck with a $60 mask that didnt fit my son. ridiculous!

Never had any problems here. They pretty much have everything you need for a party. Good prices and a large variety of balloons

Ordered online but they happened to be out of what I ordered since a customer picked them up before they could fill my order, they called me right away and explained, asked what they could do to help make it right and we settled it but when I got to the store they let me know they had just come in again so I could get them. They really know theyre stuff and make their customers happy! Highly recommend this store!

I normally love this place! The usually have everything I need for birthday parties. But this time they had absolutely nothing for Care Bears decorations. I was shocked and surprised. The staff was not very friendly either, in trying to help me.

Always clean and organized. Just setting up for Halloween, so you might want to wait a bit before getting costumes/accessories.

I placed an order online for in-store pickup at the Grandville Party City. Got an email that the order was ready, went to get it, and they couldn’t find it and the store was out of stock. The person I spoke with at the store asked me, “Did you even check your voicemail?” Yes, I definitely check my voicemail. But it would have been nice to get a call from the store saying that they couldn’t fill my order, so I wouldn’t have driven there and wasted 15 minutes in the store while they searched for an order that didn’t exist. At least they gave me a refund for the missing order.

Update!! Went into the store today received full refund and the manager on duty was fantastic!July 10 for pick up Saturday July 11 at 11:30 am. Received confirmation email and my account was charged immediately. My husband went to pick up the balloons for my daughters graduation open house. I ordered a lot of balloons since senior year was not so exciting. My husband was told at 11:30 the order want ready. Needless to say the order was lost and we didnt get a single balloon. No offer of anything. I had to call for a refund and now have to wait up 2 weeks for my money. Horrible

I was looking for the closest location to me but decided that I really didnt need to go.

Its ok if you have no other choice. I work with events, so I only there there when I need something quick and dont have time to order. I have to wait so long, even when there are only 1-3 people in front of me... Every. Single. Time! Last time I waited in line for 20 minutes, with 3 people ahead of me. Its ridiculous to have to wait so long to pay for your purchase. I avoid going there as much as possible.

The two young ladies who were working let me come in 5 minutes before close (it was snowing badly and I don’t get off work till 8 so it took awhile to arrive) and get everything I needed and were so helpful despite me being there 3 minutes after close! You can usually find what you need but everything is very overpriced. This is my last stop when finding items for a party because I can find things much cheaper elsewhere. But again, you do find pretty much anything you need, itll just cost you.

I called ahead of time asked for a certain birthday balloon, they said they had it there. Where they where supposed to hold it, i get to the store they did not even had that kind of balloon. So do this people play around like i have time to waste it was supposed to be for a kids birthday in the hospital, people its not a game just trying to make a kids birthday happy in the hospital.

Probably the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. I completely understand that you cannot guarantee balloons I did not purchase through Party City. However, my problem is when the manager talked to me like I was a toddler and she was in a rotten mood because I did not get them through PC. Well I am sorry my daughter picked a certain theme foe her birthday and you do not carry that theme. I guess I will be taking my party business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. Beware using this store for anything that requires a set time. We ordered online and were told it would be ready at 11am. We even called the store directly after the order was confirmed and they told us 11am. After noon the order still wasnt ready. No refund and no additional balloons to help make up for their screwup.

Bought balloons for my daughter birthday. Had them use high float to make sure that they would last. Less than 24 hours half the balloons were at half height, and with in 30 hours all balloons were on the ground. Very poor quality.

While they have a great variety, items tend to be mostly overpriced. Ive had exceptional service from the store manager, Martha. She went above and beyond to help me. You just dont get service like that anymore. Thats worth 5 stars all by itself.

Totally disappointed in the product line. Its a party store! Shouldnt they carry a variety of candles? Colors for everything, plates, table clothes, cps, napkins, eating and serving utensils, but candles....basic nothing... soooo disappointed

Ran in here for just a couple of things for a work party the next day. The newer employee was very helpful, unfortunately the young man working up by the registers and front counter area was rude and very disrespectful. I had been waiting for at least 10 min.( by the balloon counter). When I asked him for some help he told me oh we are out of helium, I mentioned you might want to put up a sign letting people know this, his response was well you know it now. Needless to say I will not shop there again.

Every time I go into the Party City in Grandville, Mi, I have a terrible experience. I went in earlier this week and the employees were not helpful at all. They couldn’t answer my questions or help me find things and most of what I was looking for was out of stock. I ended up going to Walmart and amazon for everything I needed, except one balloon I needed to get from Party city. I ordered it the day before and when I went to pick it up, I found out that it was not ready, even though my scheduled pick up time was four hours earlier and they were then out of that balloon and couldn’t fulfill my order. I was given another balloon that I wouldn’t have normally ordered, no refund, no apologies, nothing. The staff in this store needs training on customer service and I guess I’ll be looking to find my family’s Halloween costumes and party supplies elsewhere.

3 employees, none of which were of any help even though they were literally just standing around behind the counter. I asked if they could check to see if one of their other stores had more of a particular item and I was told I could look online; not helpful if I was trying to purchase the item as I needed to know if it were actually in stock. The 3 items that I purchased were glass, the associate put all 3 glass bottles in the same plastic bag not wrapping them separately so they wouldnt break. When I said something I was handed another bag to wrap them myself as he also handed me the bag with the bottles in it.

Very understaffed when I was there, the single cashier they had working at the time was visibly nearly freaking out, but she handled it like a champ so kudos to her. The store was a mess in some parts, with product strewn across the floor and shelves. The hi-float air only lasted a day. Would probably work better in foil balloons

Its ridiculous how much they charge for such cheap quality costumes. I bought a costume for 50$ just for it to completely fall apart after wearing for 30 mins.

The name says it all. They have all of your party needs. It is pricey. Please know ahead of time what you are shopping for. It can be a bit overwhelming.

Went in for pinata fillers for my sons birthday party, found everything I was looking for but the guy that checked me out told me not to come back because he had to count each piece of candy I had bought. They either need a better way to do this or not sell the candy in individual pieces.

Ordered balloons over the phone for a surprise party, lady on the phone was no help. She seemed like she was rushing and didnt give any suggestions. I had a friend pick up the balloons the next day and the colorful bouquet had 7 green balloons and 1 orange. Completely disappointed with the staff here. Never returning.

I will never be using party City for helium ever again. I got a gigantic number 7 foil balloon for my daughter. I get them every year at party City. This was the first year I got the helium there as well. Never again. I bought my balloons one week before my daughters party so they kept the balloons at the store. Who know when they filled with the helium. Im not even exaggerating when I say the huge foil balloon started falling before I even got home! WTH! Every year my big foils last WEEKS! this was so disappointing. Will never use this service again there.

They have a good selection but do not really have 80th birthday party supplies. However they do have ones you put your own numbers on.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Our Party City store was experiencing a helium shortage the 2 weeks leading up to my Grandpas 90th birthday. I called them the night before the party to make sure the shortage was over. I called the morning before I headed all the way across town just to doublecheck. The sales person intentionally lied to me, trying to trick me to come to the store and purchase their balloons... and then pay to fill them somewhere else, since they still indeed had a helium shortage. Such an unbelievably immoral business practice. I will never be shopping at this store again.

Was there for a Pinate for my granddaughters party the service was great but they need more help for such labor intensive service I waited about 30 min in line

From the beginning of working at this location I had a bad vibe from the employees & managers. I got scheduled to do an interview and when i went to the interview i thought everything went good, she (Martha) ended up liking me but all she ended up doing in the interview was give me her phone number & said to text her the next day to get the upcoming schedule that she was working on. & to bring two forms of ID i thought it was a little odd because out of all the interviews I had been to none of the managers gave me their personal phone number but I didn’t think anything of it. Later on, I show up to my first day (with my two forms of ID) first thing they had me do was work on the halloween costume wall and help customers pick their costumes for 5 hours straight. They really didn’t train me to do anything else nor did they have me watch any training videos as you would any other job on the first day. Also I had to be the one to bring up my tax forms that I needed to fill out for pay checks etc. They never gave me a tour of where anything was, etc. I ended up getting a call from Lisa, im assuming one of the managers saying I was scheduled to work on Sunday 9-2PM and i told her that i was only scheduled thurs,fri, & sat only & she continued to say “we start the new week on SUNDAY” which i did not know of because nobody informed me that NOR did anyone tell me where I could find the new schedule. I also put on my availability that I didn’t want to work weekends & they still scheduled me to work the weekends. Overall I feel as if this location was very unprofessional and would not recommend working here.

Lines move pretty slow in this place, usually because of the balloon service I imagine. Lots of decorations and party favors. Kids love browsing here and begging for candy.

Just called to find out if they have 3d glasses. I was told maybe? Than asked would you like me to put you on hold and check for sure?. I replied yes and was put on hold. She came back and stated If we have them they would be in the theme birthday party cars and planes or different themes but she named two. I replied with uhm ok so you maybe still have them but youre not sure? She replied yup not sure. So we ended the conversation and I still wont go to this store for my item because I still dont know if they have it.

Worst experience with customer service ever. Questions were answered with yup nope and snotty sorrys when asked if possibly another store had what we were looking for we received no help and a big fat snotty I dont know. When asked if they would possibly be getting the item in over the next two weeks we got a very short curt dont know we asked what time the other store closed and we were told 8:30- after looking it up to call and inquire about items we were looking for we were informed all stores are open until 9. I will never go back to the party city in Grandville- they were rude, disrespectful, and just nasty. The girl even covered her name tag and refused to let us see her name.
