Small selection of comic books especially new comics. But a good selection of everything else including some good deals.

This store was like walking back in time to 1998 for me. First time Ive been in a used cd/tape/record store in forever. Prices are fair, and clearance/sales prices are amazing.

You can find almost anything about video games. Theres also stuff from anime, movies, and more.

Excellent customer service. Very helpful with finding the right games/movies/consoles etc. There’s a girl there, possibly named Zoe? She is very knowledgeable about games and always very helpful. Of course she’s not the only one. While I’m unsure of their names, there are 2 or 3 other guys there who are always helpful as well. Everyone always has a big smile and is ready to assist. 5 stars for good reason. Will definitely be using this vintage stock many times in the future.

Never sell anything to these people. Theyre no better than GameStop. Just sold them three classic James Bond movies that were in mint condition only got 45 cents for them. Theyll probably turn around and sell them for for $10 a pop. I gave them one star because the store was clean and well organized.

I really like the staff at this particular store. Very social. They know their products and they help each other. But man, why so many beanie babies on display? I cant believe they still make those. I never wouldve guessed a store that sells mostly video games and systems and movies would also sell tons of ty. But hey, I guess the market is there. I really like the comic subscription service. Being a member is also worth it so you learn about all the sales.

Selection of mtg cards was asAwful whither most being over priced

Visiting from out of state and saw the store. I have been looking for original Xbox games and they had a ton. They also offered to look up if they have a store in another state amd even explained how I can order games through them and have them sent. The girl up front was friendly and also the 2 guys there. Everyone was helpful and the customer service was better than my property manager. I will definitely be back and cant wait to play my new games.

Went to sell my DVD s and glad I didnt get them all out because their price was almost like I was giving them to them at 20cents a piece. Im pretty sure they would get 4 to 5 dollars out if them now Im not stingy but the profit on that is in my opinion way too much . Not going there again

Love the variety of games and movies. I like how they have vinyls of my favorite artists. Definitely consider going here or any vintage within range of you house

This is a big (deep/long) store with as many DVDs as a Blockbuster use to have.

I bought a new Playstation 3 controller from here for around $40 but after a week a having it, I noticed I bought a fake. I dont know what gaming store would do that to their customers. If I wanted a fake PS3 controller I wouldve paid $15 on ebay for one and not $40 for what I expected to be genuine. Nothing on the shelf or the box said they were fake. The box said Official Sony Product on it! Make sure you inspect anything else you buy here, wouldnt be surprised if they were selling fake new controllers for other consoles too. I trusted this store so I threw away my receipt and box or otherwise I wouldve returned it. Will not be back.

Pretty poor experience. Went in to buy a headset and new controller. This place was BLARING Christmas music. And if that wasnt bad enough, the girl who works there was singing a totally different song way off key. Like she was competing with the overhead speakers for who could be the most annoying. I left after about 10 minutes without buying anything

Zero stars!I drove 45 minutes to this location to purchase, because this was the only store in the area that had an NES, got it home & nothing. Completely broken, an $80 brick. So I call the vintage stock five minutes from my home (Gladstone) & they say there’s absolutely nothing they can do for me, no returns, exchanges, store credit, nothing!I call this location, & I was told I should be able to return or exchange anywhere, just show up to the store with merchandise in hand, in which I inform the employee I was just told that isn’t the case. & Apparently the consoles aren’t properly checked & vetted before they purchase them or sell them!! NEVER AGAIN, VINTAGE STOCK!

Not the best Vintage Stock in the KC area. Movies arent arranged in discernable sections, and there are hardly any collectibles. They probably had a decent selection of movies and games, but ididnt stay long enough to sort through everything. The store could also use a little more personality.

I came to the grandview store on a wednesday at 1245 and i brought in several boxes and bags of dvds, games, etc. Before i could even get all my boxes and bags of movies and games into the store to sellStephen an employee brings the bags back to my car to say that the games were too dusty and had cobwebzms all over them?? There may have been some typical dust on the items but it was one box i loaded them in not the merchandise itself, my fault for over looking the box with dust and a cobweb on there!! What a thing to come and reject a customer telling me im too dusty and dirth and that i should take them home and wipe them down!!The look on the employees faces when i walked thru the door was loud and clear - oh no we actually have to do some work??? Oh no!This was EXTREMELY RUDE, NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE GRANDVIEW LOCATION- VERY DIS SATISFIED AND I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN IF I EVER COME TO VINTAGE STOCK AGAIN! Truthfully I dont want to give any stars i just bought a ps3 here 2 days ago since I bought it i have had to come back to the store 3 different times. First the system they sold me did not work. Then the controller they sold me did not work then when they switched both game an controller they gave me a different system then what I originally paid for an the new charger they pulled from the back for my wireless controller did not work. I thought the people were kind but obviously that was just an act. I wasted over $180 at this store an cant get any of it back.

This place has a really good new and used selection of all types of media. We went for the comic books, movies and other assorted collectables. The movies (new & used) were a little overpriced for my taste, they did have a few great markdown tables, but for they films I went for intentionally I couldnt spend what they were asking. There were some great prices on comic books. Collectables were priced well also. Used CDs were along the same lines as the movies, had to pass at the prices. Overall it was a very clean store, friendly staff and did have a wide variety of items available. Also they do have periodic sales that are definitely worth attending.

This is the largest Vintage Stock I have seen. The selection was excellent as was the staff. The store manager took time to help me find exactly what I wanted.

Spent 4 hours juat going threw the comic books well worth it

Certainly a welcome addition to the Grandview area -- I didnt even realize how much we needed a game store down here until very recently. The store itself seems to be fairly large for a Vintage Stock, and there is a decent selection of assorted goodies here.My only gripe is that the organization is out of whack -- some of the Xbox games are on different shelving, for example. But this isnt a huge issue yet, seeing as the store is still fairly new.I definitely intend on coming back here, hopefully with more disposable income next time.

I love vintage stock. This one opened recently so theyre still sorring their inventory, but the staff is great and helpfull. Glad one opened up near by i hate going to next town over for vintage stock. They will have what you need. And ya dont Need to waste time if you know what you want the staff is there for a reason.. they know where it is.. lol
