Friendly staff, very welcoming space with no pressure to do anything other than look around. An amazing assortment of crystals and stones, jewelry, books, candles,etc.... Everything you could want. All the stones/crystals are so well organized and have helpful little sheets next to them that explain what they are used for and extra copies of it if you want to buy that stone and keep in mind what its for. All really great prices, imo. I just could not love this little place more, and it was a steady flow the whole time I was there so must be a great place. I will visit again when Im grand rapids, so happy to have discovered it. Highly suggest you go explore it as well! Especially if you are new to this, even my sons (8&4) read the little helpful sheets and picked stones accordingly. 5 stars!

Giving spirit dreams 5 stars for quality and I’ve heard the owners are really lovely but a few of the people working there have treated me and a handful of friends very rudely and it’s made me start going elsewhere for crystals and other occult needs. Hope this doesn’t continues because i really love this store and would love to start shopping here again.

I really love Spirit Dreams and will always give them five stars. However, every time I come in an employee follows me around the store acting like I’m about to steal and makes me feel extremely unwelcome. I’ve talked to multiple people who have stopped coming here because of this employee. I really hope this stops because I love this store and always send people there. This is totally not the vibe I usually get when I come in. The owners are extremely kind people! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and will always make this my go to crystal shop! :)

I think its a very nice store, I just wish they wouldnt burn incense or anything similar like that in the store because people have allergies or breathing issues. My throat was getting tight and itchy just being in the store which sucked for me, but I cant imagine if someone with worse allergies then me had come in. Otherwise the staff was very nice and the prices were pretty good, I got a very large chunk of rose quartz for 15$ which was exciting.

Ok..heres the deal. The shop Is great. Slot to choose from and informative. My problem lies in price, and the fact that I couldnt use their restroom when I was spending so much money there. It also got super busy while I was there. I think I will try another shop next time

They have an amazing atmosphere and selection of books, crystals, and tarot cards HOWEVER they have heat treated amethyst labeled as citrine and are selling smudging items which is a closed practice (meaning it shouldn’t be done/used by non-native people)

Wow. I do not recommend stopping here.. We drove from out of town and the owner was in the parking lot yelling at cars and directing them to different spots. Then when I went in, she stopped me at the door and said I seemed angry. When I said no and that I just wanted to go in and didnt want to talk to her about it, she just told me I couldnt go in and asked me to leave. Which I was glad to at that point. Just a ton of drama from the owner that I wouldnt wish on anyone. Maybe she was having a bad day but I would avoid this place.

Today was my first (and probably last) visit to spirit dreams. The atmosphere was fairly clear, they had a huge selection of crystals. After shopping around for a bit I brought a sheet of paper (they request that you wrote down all crystals and prices that are not $1, so I did, and excluded those that were $1 from the list) with a small selection of crystals to the front desk. After about two words to me the woman at the counter began being very rude. She was upset that I didnt remember all the different crystals with the individual prices, if I would have known it was an issue I would have wrote them all down and tried to keep them sorted but at my usual shop, the owner knows everything with the price. I genuinely felt bad and that I had made a mistake so I apologized and told her I would match the crystals from the paper to where I wrote them down. In 30 seconds I was able to line the first two up where they belonged before she snatched one right out from in front of me and in a pretty agrivated tone said she knew what that stone was and the price. I was caught pretty off guard by her attitude and tried to continue sorting out the $1 stones from the others. I was constantly interrupted and when I would point out the name of one she would get snippy and say I know what that is but how much is it? And refused to listen to my response until I physically went over to the display with the price. She ended up over charging me a few dollars but I said nothing because the way that she treated me was so appalling I wanted to leave as quickly as I could. I couldnt get her negativity off of me for a good hour after I left.Its a real shame, because some of the employees seemed very nice and even knew customers by name, I was very eager to become a regular visitor. Unfortunately it wasnt meant to be.

I LOVE the workers here. Great girls. An owner was incredibly rude and condescending a few weeks ago. I have been going here for 10 years and after that, I may not return. Great psychics. Great products. I have never been treated so poorly in public, especially by a fellow LGBT. I noticed there is a portrait of a Native American on the wall (there is said to be a large native spiritual presence around this store). If you are going to use native Americans in your theme, please treat us (and my ancestors before me) with respect. Dont be rude when people ask questions about your product. Dont act like your CUSTOMERS are bothering you. We keep you in business gals. Be kind. Dont be a hypocrite owner of Spirit Dreams. Choose kindness or take that off of the wall.

I never write reviews on stores but I really feel like I have to express what we just experienced at Spirit Dreams. We have bought from here before and never had an issue in the past. My partner and I went today to get some beautiful crystals because they have a great selection and a very light atmosphere. Well they have a small sanitizer area in the front that we did not see upon entering the store. We got yelled at in front of everyone I’m guessing by the owner/manager. We completely understand that it is very necessary to take precautions during these times but we did not see the small sign. Her tone of voice was very harsh and not kind. We just want to say kindness goes a long way there’s always a nice way to say things. I hope you see this message and reflect on the way you express yourself to customers. I recently heard about the loss of their longtime store manager, George. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Jaye, and all of the different employees they’ve had over the years.

The employees were also nice about her daughter picking out crystals.@Meagin Lynne - Youre not all that intelligent if you think a first time visitor to a store is a) a stalker, b) a secret shopper. A secret shopper -judges the store- not the people. Third of all, youre spouting you look young? The person you talked to is in no way a teenager, so I guess she looks young too? She tried to help you. She counted her stuff because not everyone is as baller rich as you and has to make sure they stay on budget. Im uncomfortable the whole time with your snarky entitled attitude. She was a new customer there, she was really excited to have found the place, and your selfish opinion has made her sad enough to debate even going back. Also, she got 4 books, not 3. She had a list, apparently, you didnt. Maybe 2 of her 4 books were the same as you, because she let you have a book she had, the -LAST- one and then you go and rant that shes pestering you? You just profiled someone, and then said you dont like to be profiled? Girl, please. Also, if youre gonna say you look like youre gonna steal, doesnt that say more about you? She was finally getting out of the house, taking care of her kid and boyfriend (who were by then, waiting on her in the car) is a full time exhausting job, especially during a pandemic, and youre here acting all entitled because you spent too long in the book section? Other people wanna shop too. Your negative attitude could do with some cleansing.Im just sad people like Meagin, ruin experiences for anxious first time shoppers. Hopefully she doesnt go to the next store the person Im reviewing for is going to, just to ruin that for her too.

Magical place for people of all ages.

My boyfriend and i had visited spirit dreams last week. We look like a younger couple. When in reality we are not. Half way through the store i noticed a woman...heavier set looking like a teenager really...following me around. I had selected my books and was looking at the necklaces right there. I put the necklaces back and go on my way. My boyfriend taps me and says look. The lady has THE SAME BOOKS AS ME. i had 3. Then we watch her go over to the necklaces and count each one..as if we stole one. I ended up spending over $100 and was uncomfortable the whole time due to their mystery shopper who was so blatantly following our every move. I even said something to the workers behind the counter. They insisted she didnt work there and then played a whole scenario as if she was a new customer. The whole experience made me feel uncomfortable and now i am searching for another store to shop at. I dont want nor like being profiled becuz of what we look like or dress like. Hope those young girls learned an example. Not everyone that looks like they gonna steal. IS!!! clearly i was shopping for crystals and herbs n books to cleanse negative stuff and i walked right into it at the very store i was going to to make that happen. Other than that i did get some great books and crystals. Thanks

This place is amazing.I needed a rush order on some raw rose quartz for my 10/20/2018 wedding, they special ordered it for me from a stone show they went to that following weekend after i came in and spoke to them. I went in there today to buy crystals for the first time and I had a terrible experience. Everything was fine until I got to the counter to check out. I place my crystals on the counter and the woman proceeds to scold me for not writing down the pricing for each one. My first time buying crystals here, I had no idea but that didn’t seem to matter to her. She proceeds to argue with me about which type of crystal it is to the point of me having to walk her over to where I got it from and show her that she was wrong. This is supposed to be a place of healing and instead I come in and am bombarded with negative energy. I will not be back.

Hands down my favorite store in the universe

If you go, get a receipt! Even though they never offer them because if you try to return poor quality product,they will literally yell at you. I have bought five meditation necklaces because four have broke.I bought four chakra bracelets because 3 broke another bracelet broke and two rings broke. I try to return a ring for the first time ever returning something and Im sure you could hear the owner outside of the building scolding me for not having a receipt. She went on and on very loudly. She even made fun of me because I was a completely embarrassed. She begrudgingly gave me my refund in store credit but I dont even know if I want to go back because the energy is so negative now. We have spent thousands there and now Im just disgusted after meeting the owner.
