Overall decent.. only 2 or 3 registers open at peak time, so there was a little waiting time to check out, but cashier was great, so it made up for it. They were out of 1 basic item I needed.. otherwise, the store was clean & organized, and they had a good sale going on. I will visit again. Thanks for all that you do!

I had a beautiful young lady by the name of Keisha help me. She was at the end of her shift (probably tired) but her customers couldnt tell. She was vibrant, polite and provided great service. You should know that Fresh Thyme is not a market that should be compared to any of the larger superstores. They instead provide very high quality foods for prices that reflect that quality. Expect the grocery bill to be anywhere from 50-100% more when shopping here. However, if you are prepared for that it can be a wonderful place to get unique and healthy food items not found elsewhere. Of course they have all of your staples but you will find many other items that are fun to experiment with in the kitchen. A good variety of bulk candy and nuts as well!

One of my favorite places to get groceries. Not friendly on my wallet but the best selection around besides Trader Joe for good, wholesome food as well as dairy and gluten free if you have allergies. Just wish it was more affordable.

Only gave one star because zero isnt an option. I purchased a hair product from Fresh Thyme and it was faulty. I brought the completely full bottle into the store and asked for an even exchange of the same product. The employees refused to allow me to do this because I didnt have my receipt. I absolutely do not recommend this store, they do not stand behind the products they sell and will not guarantee them. Spend your money elsewhere, I sure will in future. This store is supposed to be owned by Meijer, so much for staying local and respecting customers.

This location is really nice. It is very clean and well-stocked. The cashiers are very fast and friendly.

Best produce prices for the quality. Sure you can get cheaper at Aldi’s or Meijer but you’ll have to use them and eat them that very day! I can stock up on my weekly produce at Fresh Thyme and not worry if my strawberries will turn in the car ride home nonetheless overnight. So yes, they are a tiny bit more expensive (nothing like Whole Foods if that’s your concern as well) but it makes it incredibly worth it.Before Covid I could even bring my mason jars in to fill up my bulk items. So convenient and sustainable.

Awesome market with a wide range of products. Very fresh produce, gluten free products, a very large bulk foods, wine and beer, bakery, deli, fish, and full service meat counter. I like that it is always clean and the staff are great. We look forward to shopping here everytime and usually make a special trip to get here.

I really appreciate Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. They have a bulk bin area which while it doesnt have everything, has most of the essentials as well as a lot of package free snacks, granola and chocolate goodies! They also let you bring your own bags and containers to use with the bulk items. Just weigh your containers at home and label them with a tare weight. They also have a bulk spice counter that even stocks beeswax pellets (not a spice but very exciting for you projects). They also stock lots of organic and raw options.

The food is good. The veggies are fresh. The deli has good meat.

It is a 15 minute drive for me. But, it is worth it. The produce is always fresh and I love the large selection of organic produce. Also, there are so many options for vegan and gluten diets.And you cannot beat the prices on the fresh produce.

My go-to grocery store. Super friendly staff (literally going out of their way to help), great produce (seems like theyre constantly restocking), well stocked aisles(lots of options). Meat can be tricky now with the pandemic, but the staff is always helpful and can usually find what Im looking for.The prices are not the lowest in town, but the quality is second to none. Great selection of healthy food and lots of organic choices.

Fresh produce, olive bar is all prepackaged, grocery section, homeopathic items, deli, meat dept, alcohol, bulk foods and a bunch of all natural items. It is a unique fun grocery store. Bigger than Aldi but way smaller than a Meijer.

Kind of a Meijer for aging non-GMO hippie boomers, but the produce is great and you cant beat the seafood sale prices. Very friendly staff.

Nice place to get groceries, fresh produce (good variety of organic, too), etc. Layout/distribution of products not necessarily user-friendly, though. E.g. same type of produce are sometimes in different places (luckily roughly the same area). They probably have their own system that makes sense to them.But if you have time and patience, youll find most of what you need.

I absolutely love this store! I only wish it was closer as I live in Coopersville, a store closer would be wonderful, maybe consider one??

Love the produce prices and the fact that more or local and fresh although everything else is on the more expensive end unless only hitting sales.Unfortunately, the staff have frequently ruined things like berries and cilantro by putting them in bags with sweet potatos and the like. Pretty absent minded bagging and customer service and Ive been dealing with it for a long time.

Nice store, nice people, nice food selections

Workers were SUPER nice; they helped me find some stuff I was looking for and where really fun to meet and chat with at check out. The store is very clean but its so hard to find stuff, everything is marked but it took me way longer than it usually does to find almost anything. It does have a pretty cool interior too; like a less tropical Traitor Joes.Worst part by far was masks. They have the sign on the door saying masks are necessary to enter but they didnt enforce it. It wasnt just people doing the under the nose thing but people having it hanging from an ear or not at all- and not just one or two, a lot of customers. I know what customers do is mostly out of thier hands but Ive seen less below the nose and unmasked people in Mejier, Aldi, and Woodland Mall which have a much broader and a... Shall we say less entitled demographic. I sadly also dont recall a sanitation station (ha) for carts either.Idk the next time I will shop there... But I know if I do it will be after the pandemic.

I love Fresh Thyme. I was in there recently and had the pleasure of meeting the acquaintance of Jake. He was very helpful and allow my friend and I to take jars that candy we had purchased came in so they wouldnt get broken on the ride home. He also said we can check back for more jars as the candy sells as theyll just be tossed. A little goes a long way sometimes. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

Fresh Thyme is one of my favorite grocery stores. Their produce is always really well-priced, and there are always some really good sales going on.

The store is aptly named. They carry fresh, unique foods and have reasonable prices for the most part. You want that nutritional yeast youve been trying to hunt down at meijer? Theyve got it. Variety choices of faux meat? They have that too. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable in my experience, and they dont try to avoid your gaze when you need help and are casting out those nonverbals. Its like stepping into the west coast for a spell (if youre into that).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store. They are open to suggestions, their produce if fantastic with an extensive variety of organic choices. Their canned goods can be pricey, however their Fresh Thyme brand are much more economical. Everyone there is always super helpful.

One of my favorite places to shop. They have a large variety of specialty, organic and health foods along with everything else you might need. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you find what you need.

I love the wide selection of healthy food, and I feel the prices are very reasonable. I love shopping here for my familys organic, grass-fed, and non-GMO produce and meat.

So the plus is that they have good produce and meat section. It’s a good place to shop if you have special dietary needs and shop for items you wouldn’t likely find at a more mainstream grocery store. However, there is ALWAYS something that they’re out of stock. And this isn’t random items, it’s stuff like chicken breast or frozen vegetables. It can be frustrating if you plan your meals for the week. Also, their can return is always full and doesn’t accept brands that they sell like spindrift. It’s an okay alternative to Whole Foods (which GR desperately needs) but no where near the quality or selection.

Fresh Thyme has the best quality produce you can find. Their vegetables are fantastic, meat is delicious and fresh, and the assortment of nuts is crazy. Absolutely fantastic store!

Prices are out of line. Have a terrible time with returning cans. Wont buy their brand of flavored waters. No one else in town will take these cans back and I had to wait in line to return a dozen fresh thyme cans only to have the bottle return stop because it was full.

First time shopper but you can BET Ill be back!! Unique shopping options (especially for vegetarians, vegans, and the generally health conscious) like Trader Joes, but WAY better produce! And lots of fun and Earth-friendly brands like Whole Foods, but WAY more affordable! They had some great sales while we were there, and a whole two+ weeks groceries was only around $200! For those that need grooming products or vitamins too, they had a REALLY robust selection!Bored of Meijer? Dont need the sheer quantity of Costco? Love, love, love this market! Great bulk foods section, good coffee selection, and super produce all bring me to Fresh Thyme whenever Im in Grand Rapids. Just found out theres a store even closer to me so Ill be shopping there more frequently. They also have an exceptional health & beauty section with tons of all natural products.

My fianceé and I always enjoy our visits here, and we like to search for new deals or unique foods hidden among the other treasures. The deli is a great place for a quick meal, from individualized sandwiches to pizzas made to order in a pretty quick jiffy. We actually prefer this pizza to many of the local pizza joints due to the variety of sauces available, as well as the high quality crust and ingredients. Additionally, the produce throughout the store is always fresh, and the staff are very agreeable. Shop here for a good thyme.

Fresh Thyme has a great selection of natural and organic foods! The prices are also reasonable. My only disappointment was the lack of dried cherries. Other than that, my experience was great!

I love that there is a bulk section where you can bring your own containers for refilling. Unfortunately, the prices on the bulk items are pretty high, so we only visit where there is a sale on all the bulk things; youd think bulk things would be cheaper, but no. My favorite thing at the store is the peanut butter grinder; it makes the best, fluffiest peanut butter Ive ever eaten. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes there are good buys on produce, but I prefer Kens Fruit Market for that. As long as Kens doesnt have fill-your-own containers or a peanut butter grinder, I will go to Fresh Thyme for those things.

Fresh time is an awesome grocery store. They have a good selection of healthy food, produce and meat products. They also have self serve cold and hot food which is great. This is also a good spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner. I highly recommend their pizza! You can call ahead to order and they will cook it for you, it is cheaper and better than most pizza joints. They also have really good lunch sandwiches. The only downside is that the checkout lines can be long if your timing is off
