I have been shopping at Rit Music for a few years, I have had my guitars, drums and amps repaired at Rit Music. They have special ordered for me guitar parts, drum parts, cymbals, drum equipment, cymbal stands and drum sets. Even when I was first starting out and knew nothing they took the time to help me and answer all my questions.

Friendly helpful staff always take great care of us. We wouldnt go anywhere else!

I can still remember buying my first new drumset from Rit when Jim started it in his basement in Allegan. Now they are huge but service, quality and excellent prices have not changed. Rit is consistant over the decades and it is a pleasure going there. Scott is the man and a phenomenal drummer and insanely knowledgeable and helpful. Rit IS the standard in West Michigan. Keep up the outstanding work, everyone. You people rock!

They could try and talk you into buying crazy expensive stuff but they dont. They sell you what you need! It is the only place I go and the guy behind the counter is super helpful and cool. Its laid back and NOT like buying from the big box store.

Scott is the man! I love RIT Music and their excellent selection. RIT shines as a drum shop. Though their selection of guitars, amps and PA equipment is great, drums make the shop really stand out. At RIT, youll find quality used and new cymbals from all the big guys, but also cool and innovative gear from companies like Dream. Electric drums, vintage finds and custom options with local legend Chris Matoon (teacher and custom drum builder) elevate its resume to give you a full spread of products and services to meet any and all of your needs. Dont go to Guitar Center. Youre missing out on something way better.

They do amazing work. I took my guitar in to get restrung and expected to leave it. They did the work on the spot and Phil polished the fretboard like it was his own guitar. Great service, they had great music playing, and all for a really low price. Skip the chains and hit this local spot, you wont be disappointed.

Their professional knowledge equipment recommendations, and service ability has made them our go to for all our band and audio technology needs. If you want to see what they are capable of, just stop by a service at Keystone Community Church in Ada MI and experience it yourself!

I was treated very well and paid a fair price for a good speaker set up. Scott was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions so I could make an educated purchase. I will definitely shop at RIT again for my musical equipment needs.

I’m not going on a blood crazed mission to take this store down, but I’m here to say that stores like this make me sad. Unfriendly/judgement staff, you have to ask to play every guitar, and not a wide enough selection. I hate to this review, but I’m so disappointed. I hope this store evolves and changes to become great, but now, it’s the little whiny brother of what it could become.Only give it one star because I had too.

Store itself is nice, but the staff are ignorant. I am double jointed in my left hand and have a hard time using a regular guitar. So Ive inquired over the past few years about lefty guitars, but they do not carry them in stock or even know they exist. Ive asked them to look into getting one or two, so people like me could try it, but they must have shrugged me off.
