Been coming here for years- like to support local… tried to return an unworn witches hat- still had tag attached, receipt… folded crease 2 days after purchase… rude worker with greasy long hair snaps- saying that there are signs all over saying no returns… hmmm yet didn’t say that at time of purchase. Wouldn’t have a problem with that except for this guy was off the charts rude about it- bizarre. Last time will ever step foot.

Best Customer Service! Dave is amazing! Great costumes and so many things you need to check it out. This place is a hidden gem.They make amazing homemade masks, scrub hats and button head bands too! Professionally sewn and both cute and sharp patterns from child to grown men. I have bought many for myself and the family. Very reasonable. Have gotten many compliments.

I needed a hat for a Kentucky Derby Party because I did not have time to make one so I called Theatricks. They were polite on the phone and had a few different hats that would work so I drove down to the store. When I arrived the gentleman was courteous and prompt with helping me. They had a pretty wide range of prices of hats that would work. I received many compliments.

I read the other reviews & theyre entirely accurate. Very friendly & helpful owner. I went in to get Ben Nye makeup, they carried a great variety of colors and the prices are unbeatable compared to online. The building is located on the wrong side of Plainfield Ave but its worth it. Hours are convenient too, open until 6 on weekdays.

Great staff, was very helpful in helping me find the perfect costume for a party, had reasonable prices and was gracious enough to let me rent through the weekend. Its great to still have mom and pop outfits (pun intended) that stick around all year. Thanks again guys!

On a whim, we decided to check out the shop to look for a costume or props for my daughters Helen Keller presentation at school. The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful finding my daughters size. We rented the perfect period costume for $25. Total steal. Im so glad we found this place. Well definitely be back!

Had to come up with a Leonardo Da Vinci costume for my ten year old. I called to ask some questions and get directions as I live about a half hour away. When I got there the salesman already had several costumes hanging up for him to try on and helped us pick out a good one. He also found us a good hat, a painters pallet, and a beard. He was tremendously helpful. Also, my son had ants in his pant and touched everything in the store. They salesman was full of patience and humor. The cost was also very reasonable. I would recommend this place to everyone!
