Had all sorts of квас!! Just what I was looking for. Great little humble store. I wish it was bigger!! Small store but has many things you will love, I only wish that it was bigger. If I can, I will come back often!

I found Urartu through a co-worker. Now I always go in for the Marlenka. I cant get enough of it and my family always expects me to have some when I visit. Their deli has real hearty sausages and at Christmas I found some good caviar. If you want something special or try something new, this is the place.

As for me the only one minus here - the small size of the store :)I like to buy good candies, good bakery products and many other things in the Urartu store.If you want to compare these candies and the piece of junk from the big food stores you should be surprised.Anyway if you are ready to find something new - go here and buy all that you want.

Small, but impressive in its own right!Where else has Russian sweets, east European sausage, Red Caviar, and a friendly mom and pop explaining what each item is, and why its good? Nowhere in conus! Yes they even have REAL Polska Kielbasa! No need to drive to Hamtramick.

Was unpleasantly surprised to learn the price difference of herring package between Urartu and Mediterranean island, being so much more at Urartu. Also, it would be great to have an itemized receipt, not just the total amount. Because I am never sure what I am paying for, on top of the fact that only some store items have prices. With barely one bag filled with foods I paid over $50 today. It cant be right...🤔🙄

The store is very small. They sell some Russian/Ukrainian foods there like dumplings, rye bread, heiring, honey cookies and etc.The prices are very fair.The assortment, however, gets updated very rarely, because of lack of traffic.Last time I went there, bought some rye bread, which had a little mold on it. Looked like the owner just had not taken a look.Great store overall, however, but be careful with items that are just sitting on shelves without sealed packaging like bread.

Descent selection of Russian, Ukrainian, Latvian goods. Birch juice had English label on it but was flavorless. Most of chocolates were good except few that were stale.Would come back again.

Really small place, but with some great stuff. Very organized and clean. They even have cow candies, yum!!

A good place to buy some European grocery items such as buckwheat, pelmeni, tvorog, kolbasa.

We were visiting the area when we tried finding a store that possibly sold European foods. My husband is from Europe so were always on the lookout. Stopped by this little shop to check it out. Im big on customer service so was disappointed when we walked in and werent greeted at all the whole 5 mins we were there looking around. I understand a few customers were being waited on (speaking different language) but a simple acknowledgment of hello would have done it. Found a few candies and few others things we would have bought. We felt a little turned off and awkward because we werent sure if we were welcome since we didnt know the other language. As we live 1.5 hours away, doubt we will return.

Exceptional variety of gourmet/specialty foods. Great customer service and extremely competitive prices. Really unique one of kind market catering healthy yet tasty cuisine to all types of taste buds!

Very nice experience.The store are not big, but you can find ther deliFew Chases... many candys, bread and canes of everything from Europe... you can also find a Pilimeny and Vareniky in freez, fishes and more... I be back and very recommend

The area looks a bit shady, so does the store. Food selection is not great, but would give you choices for stuff you can’t find at Meijer’s or Kroger. They don’t have the liquor license though, so you don’t see any of those European drinks we love...

Urartu Foods has everything from delicious chocolates, tasty jams, hearty breads and specialty cheeses and meats! I highly recommend this store. The food is always fresh and service is great!

Last time I was there I bought a lot of good food that I like but I wish that they would be a little more flexible with the time they are opened cause I cant come anytime I want or need. So last time I came they were closed. And now that I am near by and think to stop by they are closed.

Urartu is a great international foods store. They have a variety of different foods. You will always walk away with something delicous, and will want to be back!
