Worst ever… ordered a slider door over a year ago.. we finally installed it back in March .. we had ordered a grid ( special order cost more $$) and it was the wrong size…. Hubby calls over 5 months ago and still nothing … I call and find out no one had ordered a new one ( this was a week ago..) said they will be calling hubby NEVER happened( they were like what do you want us to do … how about get me my grid ) … they don’t respond to emails phone messages or even text messages .. I just want my grid or give me my money back… your customer service is horrible … I’ve done the retail thing for 29 years … step up and be accountable … I’m just 1 small person but that shouldn’t matter … please fix

Do yourself a favor and avoid this location, go to the Lake Michigan Dr store instead. I wanted to buy siding and a front door, the people here were annoyed to even give me prices. I was greeted by a salesman, then handed off to some young guy with tattoos on his hands (I dont care about tattoos, just wanted to describe the guy). He didnt know anything about anything, didnt show me any products, I even had to ask if I should look around and bring him samples of what I liked. When I showed him what I wanted to order, he said I should just go to the other location. I had to pry prices out of him and he didnt even know if the price was per piece or by square. Complete waste of time... People at the Lake Michigan Dr location were great, specifically Jimi and Caleb

People driving company vehicles shouldnt try to run other people off the road, honk and flip them off. Terrible company, Terrible employees.

My wife and I walked into the store hoping to get a quote on some deck materials. Not one person greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. We waited around the decking area hoping someone would eventually show up to help but no one ever did. After 10 min of standing around we left, without anyone ever saying a word to us (this is a very small store).We were actually referred to this store and we were ready to buy. Unfortunately for them, we purchased our deck material ($10k) from a different store).

Multiple staff members from the front desk to the back warehouse seemed actively annoyed to be dealing with me, except the younger guy with the mullet. He was nice, at least. Was looking forward to this, would have been a very convenient location for me.-a humble beginner DIY homeowner

Service has been absolutely wonderful. During this pandemic wood has been so hard to come by but the gentlemen have been so patient, upfront and helpful! We will continue to use them for our decking/lumber needs! Thanks so much!

A lady by the name of Sarah at the front desk. Just plain rude and did not want to help. I was picking up our 4th try of delivery of a piece of crown molding. I was not given an invoice # in my email notification. A bit tired of this by now!!

Standard supplied all the materials for our new home. We were so pleased with the customer service and the quality of the products. Great staff that helped us every step of the way.

I bought the materials for my deck 30 years ago. Now, the top has to be replaced so I went back to Standard after checking prices on line. Standards prices were well below the big box stores and their service is always the best. Skip the nationals and buy local!

This place is primarily a place for contractors, but its not very customer friendly for the average homeowner. Their prices on lumber are typically 15% less than Menards, but hardware is more expensive. You also get better service and fewer hassles than the big box stores, and the quality of goods is much better than the box stores.

GREAT place, lots to look at but the hours they are open suck. They really need to extend their hours one or two days a week to at least 7:00. Theyve literally lost business from me simply because I couldnt get there in time.

Dropped in on a recommendation from a employee at Modern (across the street) about siding. Place looked clean and presentable, but nobody acknowledged me as I wandered aimlessly through these store. Stood at the front desk for about 10 mins before leaving.

Great shop right in the middle of town. Everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly.

Will always help you load and pick your order. Dont stop and honk. Just walk in.

Good products, but nobody knows prices except the computer that they ask. Had to stand at the front desk and ask the price of each type and size of wood. The guy at the front desk was rude and annoyed that he had to look up prices. Wouldve taken me 25 mins to sit there and wait for them to pull up each price and then have me write it down. Very inefficient. To The Home Depot I go!
