I love this place! Very neat and organized!The staff is eager to help with anything. They never are pushy about what you should and shouldnt buy (more stores should be like this)A lot of their staff have worked there or worked in the industry before so they know their stuff. They have a wide variety of boots, tack, and fishing gear. Great place for first time boot buyers!

Young man back in the western section had exceptional customer service skills and the gal in the English section answered all my questions. Im not sure if she was manager or not but was very on top of what products they offered and the benefits of the product. Store was stocked with a wide variety of products and I had a 5 star experience! Highly recommend!

Millbrooks cowgirl boot and horse tack selection has really shrunk. I was glad to see a better selection of bits than when I was last in the store. I was unable to find a nice strong leather cowgirl boot for riding as nearly all of the boots in my size were cute soft leather boots.

Great place for Western riders, or if you want to look the part. Also very nice selection of Dressage equipment. We were looking for Hunter/Jumper apparel and a girth. Very little merchandise. I did get a couple awesome deals for my granddaughter. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will admit it has been years since I was last here.

What an absolutely amazing store. My daughter is getting her first horse next month and we needed a saddle blanket. The staff was so kind and helpful in assisting us in what we needed and helped my daughter find the most beautiful blanket in her budget (thank you grace for making that possible!).We dont live in the area but will definitely be making a road trip to come back.

I could spend hours here- and usually do! Whether you prefer english of western, you can be sure to find what you want. The staff are always very helpful and very knowledgeable. There also is a good selection of supplements, grooming supplies and treats. My horse, pony and mule are always happy to see me come home with a Millbrook bag. They know that whatever I went there to get, I always come home with a tasty treat for them too.

If you want boots, clothing, and hunting or fishing supplies they have a good selection. If you are looking for horse tack like brushes saddles and the basics-its limited.

Got back from Tennessee where I got my first pair of boot. Loved so much had to have a second pair. The girl that helped me was great. I wish I could remember her name...but she was great. My boot are perfect. I will be going back for sure

My new favorite store! I cant believe its taken me this long to discover it, but my wallet is glad I didnt know about it sooner ;) They carry the western brands I love, have hundreds of cowboy boots (women + mens) and my daughter loves the Breyer selection! Its worth the 45 minute drive for us!

Horrible customer service over the phone. Have called Millbrook a few times now. Regarding an order I placed that was backorder and to ask an inventory question. Both times I was greeted with very abrupt hellos. Transfered so many times that I came back to the orginal person who couldnt answer my question in the first place. Then to be put on hold more than a few times and this was each call mind you. To then have my phone call dropped and have to call back again. All the while the staff was unpleasant and unfriendly. No thank yous for being patient or sorry we dont have this item. Just told they didnt have it and then again as abruptly as they answered they hung up on me. I will now take my business to someone who will actually be kind and appreciate my business.

Store has downsized due to the market. Not much in western equipment. They have expanded in guns and fishing.

This store has grown a ton since I last shopped! The staff is still great; friendly and knowledgeable. And the products they sell are top quality. Theres always some good deals on the clearance rack. Ill definitely be back the next time I need a new pair of boots, if not sooner.

While the staff was very friendly, the company is not following COVID regulations at the moment. Some employees are walking around the store and approaching customers without their masks on or wearing them below their nose. In addition, the company is not requiring customers to wear masks properly (or at all). If anyone is at any kind of high risk and/or wants to stay safe, I wouldnt suggest going to Millbrook at the moment.

Great store to purchase horse tack of any discipline and apparel for any season. The staff is especially helpful and knowledgeable towards all customers, I could never appreciate their help enough. They had the ability to help me so much during my visit. Highly recommend this store!!

Honestly, I dont think I could have been any happier with my experience. Not only is the selection of apparel for all disciplines fantastic, but all items are very easy to find. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with any questions. They make the atmosphere extremely welcoming and are always there to help. The cashier staff was especially helpful during my visit today. Again, I was so pleased, making me believe I will be coming back sooner than I thought.

This place is a horse owners dreamland! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff as well! I found a beautiful Australian Stock saddle there, as well as great boots, horse treats, fly spray, lead rope, halter etc. No matter what the discipline, this place has what you are looking for.

I came in to look at boots yesterday and I wasn’t disappointed, the staff are friendly and the lady who helped me, I believe her name was Dakota, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help. Turned out the reason I’ve ever had a problem with boots was due to me wearing my original size, who knew I was also able to look at guns too and as I was leaving Dakota and the cashier told me to have an amazing day. Staff is very respectable! When I came in last time, about six months ago for boots nobody really helped me. You should be very proud of your staff! You guys had a great team yesterday! Will be back sooner rather then later to create an account with you guys!

Fine tac for a fair price

I walked in, was not greeted. They answered a question I asked but offered no other help. Loitered in several areas, no one asked if they could help me find anything or assist in any way.The people working that day were neither courteous or professional. Nice people are naturally curteous, professional people are trained to be nice. I found neither example working that day.One thing for sure and 2 things for certain:Sure thing: Ill never stop to visit that store again.2 Certain things: 1) theyll never see one red cent of mine and 2) I will advise anyone I know NOT to shop there.One last thing, Id advise the owner(s)/management team to consider customer service training for its employees.Being knowledgeable about your craft(subject matter expert) doesnt take the place of customer service.As the old saying goes No one cares how much you know, till they know how much you care. By the way, I had 2 pockets full of cash and I was willing to spend it!Thats all👎

I absolutely loved my experience here! I grew up in a neighborhood nearby and remembered going once or twice with my mom when I was young. I had thought I saw they were closing which made me sad but was happy to find out they were simply renovating. When I was back in town I decided to come here to find a pair of country boots since I am an LVT and may be working with horses one day (and own one) and have just always wanted a pair! Nikki was the one to help me choose a pair and figure out the sizing! She was very knowledgeable and educational. She also helped my mom pick out jewelry. We were both very happy with our experience. It also smells amazing in there!!

Great selection of tack, supplements, blankets, you name it. Nice crowd of workers. You wont find deals here like you will online, but they dont jack their prices high either. I like that I can drive down the road, get what I need when I need it, without having to wait or pay shipping.

I would have given five stars but was disappointed that the associates were not wearing masks.

When I called and asked about their boot selection and prices the person I spoke on the phone with said we have a great selection and fair prices. Well Im not sure what this person considers a great selection but this place doesnt have one IMHO AND their prices are VERY high when compared to others.Drove from Kalamazoo for nothing. Also I have never seen such an odd mish mash of products...mall clothing, firearms, cowboy boots, fishing supplies horse tack...so odd.

I didnt realize how great it is to get help picking out boots! Tabitha was able to point out all the details we should be noticing as we made our choice. Now I can be confident my daughter is going to love her boots much longer than the last pair we picked out, which never did fit right. Tabitha takes her job so seriously, I wonder if shes part owner of the place! We felt very cared for.

Selection was vast, staff was knowledgeable, and prices were fair. For less than what we expected to pay for 2 pairs of boots, we walked out with our boots and a nice western style wallet. Definitely headed there when its time to retire our current boots. Only disappointment was the price of childrens and baby boots. Wed love to see them give parents some connection for used childrens boots.

Millbrook has recently been remodeled. They are friendly and helpful. Really cute riding gear, and clothing, plus some cute clothing for the whole family. I did some of my Christmas shopping there. And also bought several things for my self. Received several compliments on the sweater I purchased. Hugh selection of boots.

Good boots, good prices, great staff

Im very happy when I get the chance to visit Millbrook Tack (I live far away :( ). I love their Five Star Rewards Program because I have received free items, low cost items and big discounts. I love shopping here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. While some items are a bit pricy, I understand that this is not a big corporate store and not everything can be the best price out there. I am happy shopping here and would definitely recommend them to anyone who loves horses, owns horses or just likes country apparel like boots :)

Im not in 4-H ,on an equestrian team, nor do I own a horse...but this place has quite an array of items. Boots, clothes, saddles, guns, fishing poles, ammo, jewelry ,snacks, trinket items,hats...worth the visit. Some things are a little pricey. Great employees always willing to help.

Not sure what the relationship between Millbrook and new owner of Al&Bobs is but the ladies working for Millbrook seem to treat us fisherman with the same respect they do of there own customers. Great customer service at both places and always get a friendly hello when you walk in.

I went for my first time and was extremely impressed with the selection! Definitely larger than any tack shop Ive been to in Michigan. I will say it was a little pricey (hence the 4 star) but, they stocked high quality English and western tack, clothing, and stable supplies. Will definitely be returning there soon :)

I love Millbrook, especially when Erin is working. But i really dont like seeing the hunting trophies. I only see beautifully animals that arent able to run live their lives anymore. Perhaps they can divide the store so those that like living animals dont have to see the stuffed ones.

Great people helpful workers, prices are a little high, but good quality, dont keep the sweet six snaffle bit in stock, and not a very huge selection for Western show shirts, I did find one I did like a lot and did not get it it was a little high priced. Would recommend this store to anyone, big selection of products, could have any color you could possibly want in halters!

Great store with great products and amazing customer service. Sadly, they no longer carry breeches in my size that are within my budget, when not too long ago they did. I now have to do all my shopping for breeches online. More than a little disappointed.

Walking in to Millbrook is like walking back in time to growing up on a farm. Showing hogs, riding my horse. The smell of horse tack fills the air! The selection of boots, saddles, Western apparel, and tack is outstanding! Everyone was very attentive and helpful! I would highly recommend Millbrook!

Very nice place. Didnt have the boots I wanted in my size. My husband ended up getting his from here though. Same price as the other popular western store in town.

I ordered a pair of boots off of Amazon and Millbrook was the seller. The boots went MIA after they were shipped for a few days (according to the tracking) and I was a little panicked that they were lost, etc. I contacted Millbrook and can I just say that the customer service I received was top notch. Super quick response time and I even got a cute note in the boot box thanking me for my order when I opened the box. Being a girl from Georgia I am a huge fan of sweet little things like that. I am really hoping that the next time I am in Michigan visiting my fiancé’s family that we can make time for a stop! Thank you guys again for all of your help :)

Store is great and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly! They dont carry everything, but do have quite a wide selection. Prices are a bit high, but I suppose thats to be expected when you have staff to help you determine correct sizing and can see the equipment in person vs. just in pictures at the online discount stores! Overall a good experience.

This is the place to go for western boots, hats, tack and apparel. The staff helped me find the style of boot I was looking for and took the time to explain how the fit should feel so I didnt buy the wrong size.I was having my wife try on boots while telling her we couldnt afford them right now and when I told the sales rep I was coming back to get them later as a present he set them aside after we left.Boot shopping got me in the door but great and friendly customer service keeps me coming back.
