Employees recommended books are available. Always a lovely clearance section. Public restrooms are available as well as a lovely bakery/coffee shop. Free escalator rides!

A fantastic bookstore and the best Barnes and Noble Ive been to in Michigan. 2 floors, packed with books and a very friendly staff. A great selection of magazines and large selection of clearance and reduced priced books. The 2nd floor has lots of books as well as LEGO and other childrens books and toys.

So many books to choose from! It is always nice to be able to walk into a book store even just to browse. My two readers both found titles they wanted to take home.

Barnes and Nobles is great. They have a great selection of books. Especially in the categories of music and sports . I Will definitely come back in the near future.

Its a pretty big store that is fully of many different books and genres. Its also a two story building which makes it even better! :) there is also a starbucks inside.

The guy in front if me was a jackass to the clerk but the clerk remained polite. He was especially nice and helpful to me, in spite of the Neanderthal that proceeded me at the counter.

Been wanting to do more reading and stopped in here for a book. Really big selection and I had no idea where to look so I asked and they walked me right to it.

The book store was great,so was the staff in the actual book store. However, the man serving/making our coffee was rude and off putting. It was not just to us! We watched as he treated a young lady in the same fashion. Needless to say we wont be getting coffee again.

I love shopping for books. This place is clean with super nice employees. Employees are sometimes hard to find. If you shop for books often join the membership club, it gives a nice discount.

The Grand Rapids Barnes and Noble reminds me a little of the grand old bookstores of Ann Arbor, such as Borders, or even the old Barnes & Noble in East Lansing. There is a fine selection of books and all sorts of Japanese toys and puzzles. I really like their selection of journals and Lamy pens.Highly recommended if you are in Grand Rapids. Be sure to have a warm brownie and read awhile.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Barnesandnoble.comI went to purchase one of the quickly disappearing books by Dr Seuss, Six by Seuss, which had some of my favorite childhood stories in it, including 1 that has been cancelled. On that day, I questioned whether to purchase via Amazon or B&N and chose B&N to help support a smaller company. A week later, I was wondering where my order was since I had heard nothing, and after checking my order status online, saw that this specific book in my order was Cancelled. I had received no email whatsoever. Now that I go to find these books elsewhere, I see that they are now retailing for upwards of $130 and far outside my price range. I am furious because I do not believe that I should have been able to purchase this book online and wait a whole WEEK before finding out (on my own) that they were unable to fulfill. In addition, upon calling customer service, they said that they should have sent me a $5 gift card and a cancellation email. Well, neither of those things had been received. I asked to speak to someone else and they basically just explained the same thing and that its not their fault at all. I understand that this demand was fairly unprecedented, but I should have been notified immediately if they were unable to fulfill. The manager told me that they were sending out an email today telling me that they were unable to fulfill the order....well little good that does me. And $5 to a company that I no longer wish to shop at? if they wish to compete in the world of the giants of Amazon, then they need to be able to provide a superior experience and customer service. I will be turning to other book retailers from now on.Add on top of that, with my recent experience in the childrens section of the brick & mortar store at Woodland, which was shockingly FULL of leftist propaganda, I am happy to no longer be a customer of B&N. Good luck to you.....I doubt you will be around as a retailer for much longer unfortunately.

Many of these books, a majority I would say, are from this store location. I enjoy the shopping experience here as much as any, if not more than other bookstores. The layout is nice and open, fulfilled, organized and multileveled. I have been able to find everything I have needed and more in this store, all while search other places as well. 5 stars for me on this one, hope every has a pleasurable time searching for knowledge at this here place.

Its a massive book store, you dont need the sales pitch. Sales-folk here are more than willing to help you find any title, or similar to what you read if youre trying to expand. Wall to wall to wall to wall books, give them time and the ceilings will be books.

We enjoy our Barnes & Noble. We frequently go there bi-weekly to get new books. They have been able to get us most of the reading material that we were looking for.

For over 25 years, we always get our computers, cellphones, tablets, and TVs from Best Buy. When we have questions or issues, particularly with new technology, they have always helped us out.

They have a really good selection of books as well as puzzles and games! Plus they have coupons that you can get if you accept to receive emails from Barnes & Noble. It’s not only got books, but is the perfect place to read a book and sip some coffee or tea in the café section! Whether you need a place to relax, or you are looking for a particular book, Barnes & Noble is the place to go!

Tiffany who is an employee rudely came up to me 3ft away from my face and told me to pull my mask up because it was required in their store. Now I understand this is required, but I had just pulled it down to take a drink of my beverage and have had it up other than that time. I have been to this Barnes and Noble 2 to 3 times a week and have never been treated this way before. My family and Ispend tons of money here, are members and do not need to be spoken to in such a way. I was extremely disappointed in this employee and would write her up for this show of unprofessionalism. Yikes.

The variety of stuff you can find here is just amazing. Sure they have a ton of books on just about any subject, but what really caught my eye were the board games.

Barnes and Noble not only has books, they have a ton of great game options! I wouldn’t necessarily suggest buying games from them though, unless no other places sell them for as cheap. It’s an expensive store, but it has a lot of options for books and games and puzzles, etc. They also have a lot of sale tables, which I love! It’s a great place to find a fun Christmas gift. (:

The people were polite. They moved the shelves around so I had to reorient myself to where I usually go. So books about polical figures were displayed in several areas and have been out for a while. Maybe not doing so well?

I have not visited this location in a few years. The layout was still easy to understand and we were able to find a few books we had no luck finding in stock online.

Well the mall bathrooms are closed, but not Barnes and Nobles bathrooms! Saved a life, and always a great shopping experience. The paper towel dispensers released a ridiculous amount of paper towel. It really helps with avoiding touching anything. So good on you for thinking ahead.

Its a huge bookstore. My biggest complaint is the general lack of hardcover books in YA. I didnt ask about it though and I suspect theyd be able to order it if I wanted.Anyway, the store is huge, I wish there were better signs guiding you places but theres tons of book and gift and toy options plus a cafe. If it werent the pandemic, I wouldve bought a coffee and plopped down to read.

As always, Barnes & Noble is a delight. This location has two floors and some pretty tall escalators between them, with an elevator option for those who need it. The selection is pretty much the same as always, but the layout is quite pleasant and everyone is nice. They didnt have the series I wanted so I ended up spending $150 on random books- its basically a money trap to walk in.

Love coming here with my daughter. We meet with her supports coordinator once a week.

Large selection of books including for kids so if you want an actual physical copy of a book rather than an ereader version or one thats read to you this is a good place to go.

Always helpful staff and great books available. Their online catalog with ebooks is a huge selection of books. Lol, I only have been there a few times in my life. But, everytime was an enjoyable experience. Except when pushing our stroller through the metal detectors the anti-theft alarm sounded. My daughter had a stuffed animal that had not been purchased. It took a half hour of searching before I realized it wasnt ours and staff to understand what had happened! Conclusion, when alarm sounds fun like hell, no one will stop you until you have to put baby in car seat fold up stroller, secure it, calm baby down, give her a ba, maybe read her a book, and then narrowly escape!

This certain one was in the Woodland Mall. I love this book store pretty much always, but one thing I have mentioned to the employees is that Everytime I come here, the bathrooms are so neglected. Being a high traffic store alone from being in the Mall, you guys should seriously keep up at least once an hour on this. It bothers me to go into a public bathroom as it is, and even more so when the floors look like this in almost all the stalls. I seem to go here once a year between Nov and Christmas and its the same every yr now for the last three... please step up the cleanliness of your facility bathrooms. Ty I will he back to ck again...

Ive always enjoyed visiting this location. Spacious store with plenty of chairs to sit and read a book while sipping on a hot beverage, or cold if you prefer, from the Starbucks located on the main floor. They have a large variety of books, magazines, and games to choose from. The store also acts as a nice area to study in as it is relatively quiet and they have multiple tables to set your computer on. Great place to sit and relax while waiting for dinner reservations to nearby restaurants.
