Had the best customer service!! Our bird was struggling and the gals were so kind and helpful. We got antibiotics and suggestions on how to take care of our bird. Highly recommend! If you enjoy birds, the many different types make cool sounds. The colorful parrot even waved at us with his foot! Bird and animal lovers will have fun here.

These folks do a great job. They care for beaks, nails etc and are knowledgeable on bird care. I also fall in love with the birds...many of which are rescues or surrenders.

We purchased a 3-month-old cinnamon green cheek conure here in February 2021. From the day she came home, she has blown us away with how sweet, intelligent, and hilarious she is. She was obviously hand raised by people who care. Since then, weve returned for nail and beak trims every 2 months. At $5, we couldnt ask for a better deal. The employees are friendly and very educated on birds. We recently went away for 3 days for the first time since we got our conure. We boarded her at Casa La Parrot and we were so worried. We shouldnt have been! When we dropped her off, they let us take her back to get settled in. We had to extend our trip an extra day and it was no problem. When we picked her up, she was totally fine and happy. At $15 for three days, we couldnt have asked for a better experience. They even threw in a beak and nail trim. I would recommend Casa La Parrot to anyone looking for reputable breeder, cheap trims, cheap boarding, and amazing service.

Awesome place. Friendly and well-taken care of birds. 2nd Blue Quaker. Prices have certainly gone up. Parakeet Birds are still $25. Bird sitting available and nail and wing clipping, depending on size of bird. I go and visit my baby until she/he is ready freely, while open. Love the place, would love a discount, more. 😆. Still great though.

Its always a pleasure visiting Casa La Parrot. I love birds. I would love to have one as a part of our family. At the time however it is not in the cards. I do however want my children to be comfortable with parrots, when the time comes and we enjoy stopping by. We will be getting our feathered friend here. The birds are well loved, but most importantly theyre well understood.

The staff is definitely less than adequate, mainly in personal demeanor as well as personal etiquette towards their guests. I have been treated very rudely on the last three excursions. There are certain rules set about towards buying a bird that are not always mandated depending on who is going up to the counter. It seems more as if you have cash in hand up front you can buy whatever you want. This is probably part of the reason why they have quite a few birds that have been quote on quote rehomed. Because the people that are buying them do not want to handle them and they are not requiring them to take them out if they have the cash in hand. We have been on a waiting lists. We were the next in line and we were still out past by somebody that came in with cash in hand for that bird. Waiting list does not exist stop getting your hopes up. I would definitely check out going to everything under the sun in Saginaw Green Parrot store in Holly Michigan, for many of the other rescues H.E.A.R.T rescue in Lowell. The owner I have never seen in store. The parrot knowledge is not great. A parrot that lives 40 years they are telling people 10 to 20 years max. I even asked about working in the store to give people correct information and getting the parrots some human interaction. I was told not hiring yet a week later a new person started. Knowledge 0. Parrots are very over priced. Rehomes are there for months not handled.. The staff is afraid to handle them.. This is not a rant this is a fact 1 st hand knowledge. I was raised around large parrots as well as smaller parrots. I have 14 parrots. I think I know a little bit about care and knowledge of parrots. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Awesome care of my parrott. They take care of the clipping , trimming and beak. The?store has the toys and food that you want for your bird. You can buy awesome birds that you know are well cared for.

Just wonderful, planning on stopping by soon again. Will add photos soon Just want to get permission first and not be holding my birdie babies as well. I came in for a wing trim and nails and beak clean up.

Great mentoring experience for our first pet bird

Decent supply of toys and a few small birds for sale. Very few large parrot or macaw birds in stock and extremely expensive. Employees have know it all attitudes and very rude. Good place to buy toys and the store is clean but take any advice with caution, ask your vet or a advanced aviculturist. Do not just take their advice it maybe wrong.

Very nice staff and helped me find everything for my little birdie rozzy a cacatiel though higher end I suggest to go here and get healthy bird treats and other products I bought a pack of dried fruit for my bird and then mixed it with his regular diet to add a healthier twist to his diet thank you casa la parrot

Awesome birds so many and many varieties. Lots of very large birds talking birds. Employees are friendly you can stay as long as you like just talking with the birds. Great place to take kiddos on a rainy or too cold to be outside day...

Got a break and nail trim for my bird baby, they were very professional and did an excellent job. So many toys and products available to spoil my babe. Love it!

Always an amazing place to go into, they have had to make some significant changes in security due to the stealing of birds. That said the staff is super friendly, nice, willing to help teach you things, as well as play with the birds in the store! Highly recommend stopping in!

Cut my birbs toenails, trim and buffed her beak, and cut the only the feathers I asked. Not a chop job. Knowledgeable of all of their birds and even offer lay away.

I love this place and the staff. I visit here quite often. Lol People say they are rude or have a lot of birds you cant touch... Theyre not rude they just care for their birds and if you cant touch it, its likely because the bird is just boarding there or its already sold. There is no need for them to let someone handle someone elses bird.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ill continue to be a happy customer.

Great place. Its just so sad to see a huge Raven trapped 24/7 in a tiny cage when it deserves to be free and fly! Apperantly they bought/own it so it wouldnt survive in the wild. Still no excuse to have a bird that doesnt belong in a cage all day without flight.

I was disgusted with the conditions. All the birds had green water (it was not vitamins), half had no food, empty seeds is an empty plate for these poor birds, will not get a penny of my money, the place was over all disgusting , the birds deserve better than this!

I called to see if they had any cockatiels for sale cause my bird died today and the lady said she wouldn’t sell me another one until I find out why my previous birds have died . She didn’t know me from a can of paint and they come from your store they’ve never lived 10-15 years. I bought them as babies and one was sickly so I got a deal on them. I came every week until they we’re old enough to take home. I love my birds and have been buying birds for 17years. I will take my business elsewhere.

I recently bought a hand raised cockatiel from Casa and so far (it is still being weaned) the experience has been an awesome one. I came in knowing I wanted a bird but not stuck between a few choices. And they really helped me find a good match for me and my lifestyle. They were awesome, letting me see the nursery room. I signed on for a waiting list and when I came back in to see the bird, the lady was super helpful dealing with my questions and such. Every time I go in they are all very kind, and it appears they take awesome cause of their birds. Sorry its so long but 10/10 recommend.

Adopting a bird is a surprisingly big commitment. Birds can be great pets but they get lonely and or depressed unless they have almost constant human company or companionship from other birds. I really like that the staff that work here understand that and communicate it to customers. They dont just try to sell as many birds as they can.

One of my friends breeds birds and then sells them here. Saturday I went along with him just to see the place. It is awesome! They have a great selection of parrots, parakeets, macaws and so on. Just be aware it can get loud :)Also, the staff here are wonderful. They were very kind when my friend was selling the birds.

This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. Some of the birds waters are green. Cages look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. Prices are very high. Beware.

I bought my Sammy (Senegal) at Casa La Parrot several years ago. They have always helped me care for him by offering very affordable grooming and boarding services. I am also able to have him seen by an avian vet on site for checkups, also at a bargain price. Their ongoing support for bird owners is unparalleled, and I’m thankful for all the services they provide.

I read so many of the previous reviews so was not sure what i would find. Im very happy! Store was clean. Staff knowledgeable and invested time in me. We even talked abt discounts. I really like this store!

I had a Decent enough experience with Casa la Parrot. They had a pretty good selection of different birds and several different ages of birds. All the birds seemed to be well taken care of and decently socialized. They have a great selection of bird toys, foods, and other accessories for all size birds. The workers I experienced ranged in Knowledge but for the most part were very helpful and did their best to answer all the questions I had. I will return here in the future.

Absolutely amazing store. I called over the phone last week and put a deposit on a sun conure. Picked him up the other day absolutely beautiful fun loving bird. Great prices on birds and supplies. Staff was very helpful. Definitely worth my 1 1/2 hour drive and will be back soon! Already on the waiting list for an African grey 😊

I have a conure parrot and i struggle to find foods that are good for him and he doesnt waste most of it. I was in heaven upon entering this place! Parrots galore. It was obvious they really love these birds. Many loose on perches, babies being weaned. Feather, beak, and nail trimming. Lots of toys and other fun stuff. I bought some toys and food. Looking forward to coming back!

I had my first Casa La Parrot experience this weekend. I had been recommended by an acquaintance when I started seeking someone new to trim my Hahns Macaws nails.We have had bad experience trimming in home, and unfortunately have had bad experienced with vets as well. To many vets, it always seemed that Augusta was just a way to make money and treated her like a business would- not as one who enjoyed the work or bird itself. Augusta has been part of my family for 10 years and I expect she is treated as such.For the first time in a long time, I found this treatment at Casa La Parrot! It is such a bird heaven in there. Augusta is fully flighted, and not always so good with strangers. The gals here took such great care in making sure she was comfortable, and trimmed up her beak and nails. My feathery babe quieted right down during the whole experience; which had never happened before. The young gal who did her trim stayed focused and gentle while talking with me, and let me stroll around and look at the other gorgeous birds until she finished.I am still just in awe of the day, these are real bird people. I feel like any of the poor reviews on here were looking for service and products that were catered to them, and not their birds. These wonderful people are here for their customers 100 percent; and their customers are your feathery loves. I am overly thrilled to have found people that myself and Augusta love- they seem to truly care about every bird that passes through their doors- and again it was only my first time here!I will definitely be back and recommend!

I love this place probably for a different reason than most. I am therapist, primarily working with kids and I am blessed with the opportunity to take them into the community. I work with many kiddos who are going through some really tough stuff and when they walk in here, they get to experience something really super cool and forget about all the yucky stuff for a moment. They love it and constantly ask if we can come back. :) (I secretly love it too). So, that being said, I would like to say thank you to Casa La Parrot for the happiness you bring into some of my clients worlds without potentially even knowing it. :) I am grateful for your presence in the community and I promise someday, I will bring one of your sweet birdies home!

The store was very clean. The staff was also very knowledgable. I went with my little sister and the lady who helps us answered our questions for a good 40 minutes. They also do boarding as well as sales. Its always nice to go to a pet store where the people handling the animals truly seems to care and know what theyre doing.

Casa La Parrot has an amazing staff. They are knowledgeable about many species of parrot and are willing to research if needed. They have vet clinics making it easier for my birds to see a vet. I learn something new every time I visit & the ladies are enjoyable to interact with. I recommend Casa La Parrot!

My boyfriend and I stopped in this past week and immediately we were greeted by a sweet girl! She was very helpful and answered any questions we had because we are looking to add a family member and a large bird strikes our life style! We are some what beginners so we had a lot of questions and she was full of information and great tips. She even showed us their baby birds! So cute! It did seem a little dirty but what do you expect from large birds that are allowed out of a cage on a huge play set which was also awesome! I even got to hold a sweet Cockatoo under supervision! :) We will definitely be going back to adopt a new family member and keep going back for care and the customer service!

We are so unbelievably happy with our green cheek conure. The most loving social bird Ive ever seen. They took great care of him. He was a baby and hand fed in the shop. They work financially well with you and are always willing to help you with any questions or concerns. Very happy.

I bought an African Grey from Casa La Parrot about 3 months ago and since my bird was just a baby, I was in nearly everyday to make the adjustment easier for my parrot. These people truly do care about their birds! The birds had toys, fresh food, clean cages and all looked and acted healthy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pet.

Always a delight to visit. Staff are warm and friendly. Each bird seems anxious to say hello, even shouting when another gets attention. If you are looking for a pet bird the ones here are all hand reared and very gentle.

Casa La Parrot is the place to buy an exotic bird. I have gotten so much help from everyone who works there. I have had a sick bird and they were able to help me and direct me. They are generous and thoughtful. The will not allow a bird to just go with anyone. They will turn people away if they feel like the home will not be good. I appreciate that discernment they show for their birds.I go to Casa on a monthly basis for trims, toys, food, baths for my Umbrella Cockatoo whom I purchased from Casa over a year ago and I couldnt be happier with the customer service and care we have received! thank you Casa!!

I love coming in here. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They have a great selection of bird products as well as obviously parrots. I got my Eclectus from here years ago and just got an Amazon. Both are amazing, healthy birds. Forever customer!

We were very happy with the care of our bird during his stay at Casa La Parrot. He was trimmed and ready when we arrived to pick him up. We can relax while gone knowing Louie is well cared for.

I came in with $3k cash today to buy my daughter a parrot, but no one greeted us, asked what we were there for - not a single word from 3 employees standing around for about 20 minutes we were in the store. The only thing I heard any of them say was if you dont have any money you need to get out to an older guy looking at the parrots. I understand if the guy is always there bothering people etc, but you dont ask him to leave in that way in front of another customer. Maybe I looked young so they didnt think I had money either, but whatever the case Im going elsewhere.

We love going here. Love all their birds and sometimes even just going to look and being the kids to see what they have. It always scares the kids when it first gets loud but we always get a laugh out of it. The prices are very good especially for how much they do for the birds. From have feeding to clipping, they do it all and with so much care. They get an A+ from our family.

Went here recently for a first beak and toenail trim for my new conure. The prices were amazingly reasonable for a trim, the staff was very caring and calming. I wasnt sure how he would respond, but they handled well and gave him lots of love and attention.I picked up a few toys while I was there and they quickly became favorites with all my birds. The toys are a bit more expensive than you will find in a pet store, but the fact that the birds like them noticeably more than their other toys speaks volumes for their appeal. These people obviously know what birds like and stock it.The birds I saw all seemed well cared for.

I stopped in while on a business trip. I have a dusky headed conure who I was missing so thought I would visit with theirs. The store was clean and didnt smell, the birds had toys and the staff were all busy feeding and playing with them. I didnt see any fresh fruit or vegetables but that doesnt meant they dont get any. All the birds seemed healthy and happy and the staff were friendly and shared bird stories with me. Nice place.
