Lovely place, amazing prices and amazing new remodel! The beer cave is very cold with so many types of beer and they have added many new wines which I really appreciate. And the liquor wall is just mesmerizing!

I bought a quarter-barrel of Bud Light from Bellavinos that apparently has a bad valve. My kegorator tap cannot draw any beer from it (and I confirmed there is nothing wrong with my tap). When I asked to return it for a new one, the individual (a child, mind you) told me to bring it back. She then called me back to say that she spoke to her supplier (on a Sunday? doubtful) and they said they could not accept the return. The whole time she was speaking to me, I could hear the adult male (parent?) speaking in the background. Im not really sure why he has his kid do the dirty work. Anyway, Im out $60 with a barrel that I cant get any beer out of. I can tell you the previous owner would have never done that! I will never go back, and I will be sure to tell everyone in the community about their poor service and astronomical prices.

Decent selection and helpful employee, but prices were higher than other places around town or even in that area. Pricing is also unclear, with many items unmarked. For my purchasing experience, I found a bottle I had been looking for, marked at a fair price, backed by search results. It rang up as $20 more than marked. The employee tried getting the owner to address the issue, but he held firm behind texts that the price had gone up. I did buy the bottle, having searched for a while, then noticed the 4% fee for using a card. I wouldn’t recommend going here due to higher prices, the card fee that is unreasonable nowadays, and their lack of commitment to their own marked prices. There are better options a bit up the road.

The owner is very accommodating. They have anything you can imagine. And if not, they will order it and text you when its in. Very good people.

Great selection of craft beer plus a giant fridge in back of kegs and domestics as well. The amount of liquor to choose from is substantial. I also like coming here if I need a small amount for cooking (versus buying a large bottle at the grocery store). Our kids love the slurpee machine with more than 10 different choices.Price wise, they are competitive and fair. I dont feel like Im paying more than anywhere else. Plus Im sure you could run all over town to buy one thing here at a lower price and one thing over there at a lower price, but we value our time and the convenience having it all in one spot. And no matter where you go, craft beer is not cheap.But really, of all the great things here, the most notable is the owner, David. He is always kind and friendly. He laughs with you, says hello and jokes that its been a while, and gets to know his customers. He is a valuable asset to our community.

This store went above and beyond for me, to find and procure a discontinued liquor that I had been searching for, to surprise one of my clients. After hearing sorry, no longer available dozens of times at other stores, I was pleasantly surprised to hear yes, how many would you like? My heroes! ☺️Top notch people, selection (beer, wine, liquor & mixers) and above & beyond customer service are what youll find at Bellavinos!

The new owners raised the prices like crazy! I went in and got a 5th of Bacardi Rum, a 5th of seagrams, 6 pack of Oberon (which was missing a bottle in the pack), two 1 liters of soda water, and a 2 liter of diet coke. They charged me $75.39... That is absolutely rediculous! I miss the people who owned it before. This place went down hill by far. The prices are outrageous... Which I believe they are charging more than legal prices. I will not return and I hope others dont give them business. Super sad to see a once great party store get taken over by people who ruined it. :(Just bought Liquor whipped cream. We went back twice. Both did not worth!!!!

This decent sized party store on the north side of town offers an excellent craft beer selection at amazing prices. You can make a six pack with anything in the store, everything is individually priced. Ive only been a few times, but every time I have found a great selection of interesting craft brews that I left the store happy with.

Probably not the cheapest place in town but doesnt have to be. Great selection of spirits and the couple who own and operate it have great customer service, knowledge,and seem to be genuinely nice people.

Owner is a penny pincher. He removes glasses and samples that come with booze and sells them separately. He also requires a minimum $5 transaction which is not unheard of but he doesnt have an ATM either.

So as far as selection goes, Id give this 10 stars. Ive enjoyed shopping here over the years, but my experience today makes me completely change my mind. I went in to purchase a fermentation bucket for homebrewing. I got the bucket, but not a lid because I have a few of the same lids they sell there at home already. When I got home I washed it out, and double checked that my lid fit - thankfully I did, because when I pushed the lid on, two pieces of plastic broke off from the bucket, and when I took the lid off, it ripped off the upper rim of the bucket with the lid! My guess is the bucket was old and had degraded over time. I went back and got a return from the nice girl who sold it to me in the first place. She suggested I wait and come in again to talk about the lid (which is ruined) with the owner as she wasnt authorized to do anything about it. So, today I came in and had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Not only did the owner yell at me and tell me that it was my fault that the bucket broke, but that my asking for a refund in the first place was like buying a bottle of liquor at meijer, taking it home, accidentally dropping it, and then bringing back the broken pieces and asking for a refund. I dont know if he fully realizes how ridiculous this sounds. He then told me that he was reconsidering his employees decision to refund me the bucket cost in the first place. In any case - not shopping here any more and advising everyone I know to avoid the place. My question for the owner is, how can a beer store in Grand Rapids afford to have completely no tact or customer service when there is so much competition?

Had a specific vanilla porter I was looking for. The owners wife was sooo helpful, and when we couldnt find it, she called her husband and he knew right down to the cans color what to look for. I got my Gonzos Biggdogg Vanilla Porter , and Bellavinos got a lifeling customer!

Illegal fraudulant financial shennanigans going on here. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!! This place charges you an extra fee if you pay with a credit card, which obviously is illegal here in MI, and has been for literally DECADES now. I dont know how on earth the business owners of Bellavinos think they can get away with violating Michigan state law like this, but I for one will never return there. If they cant even follow the law on NOT screwing over the customers by over-charging them, how can you rely on them for anything else?

Nope, this guy watches illegal secondary prices for everything from limited release beer to whiskey, and tries to charge the exact same price, which can be anywhere from 200-600% the MSRP. Hes a crook, we all need to avoid this place to encourage him to change his practices. Way to take care of the customers David...

Whatever you do DONT order online from this business! I ordered a bottle of wine on May 5th and was charged $19.84 through PayPal. Still hadnt received the package by May 16th so I called the store and the lady who answered the phone said her husband handles all the online orders and to call back the next morning. I decided to email as well and this is the response I got, I apologize but per MI law we found out that we cant ship wine yet. You should be able to cancel order and get credit back with PayPal.Lets just say Im not happy at this point that they didnt try contacting me to let me know about this to begin with. So anyhow I went ahead and made a case for unauthorized payment through PayPal and 8 days later Bellavinos has still not responded to the case. (NOT SURPRISED)I emailed them again to inform them that they need to respond and that what they are doing (selling online when you know you cant ship to customers but still taking their money) is STEALING. I received this email back: I didnt respond because I saw from PayPal that credit has been issued back. So I thought you dealt with PayPal and were all set. If you directly initiated refund request with PayPal and still have not got your money, please follow through with them. Thx DavidLIE! Check out the screenshot you can see where they took money from me on the 5th and nothing has been refunded since that date!DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LYING SCAMMING PEOPLE!
