This place used to be great. I had been going in often but the quality has gone way down. I am disappointed more often than not. Stuff like the coffee being hot shouldnt be too much to ask for.

I love supporting local and would be a regular customer here if they smoothed out their inconsistencies. I have ordered the same thing every time I go in and each time the price, size, and what I am told about the product is different. I have asked for a larger size (willing to pay extra of course) and I have had my request made and also denied (told that they cannot make a larger size). Would like to see some more consistency in the product I am purchasing.

Owner and I spoke at great length about his roasting method. He has perfected air roasting. I had an iced Cubano and my wife had an iced latte. Well above par. Hats off to someone just taking the plunge in opening a roasting establishment.

The Mexican Mocha is my very favorite coffee drink in town—in fact, all of their beverages are really good, but I wish there was a larger size for the iced beverages and the price point. Also, the service is very subpar. The girls that work there are almost all extremely unfriendly, with the exception of one very nice girl that I see every once in awhile. I come in almost every day (or I used to, until I decided that for me service is just as important as the quality of the product) and they cant even so much as smile at me and I feel very uncomfortable talking to them. Maybe they should take a course in customer service. I do appreciate that it is a veteran-owned business. Thank you for your service.Edit Oct 2021: They did get a larger sized for iced drinks which is so exciting! The new hires there are much friendlier than the former crew as well. Im glad to see these issues are being remedied. I am upping my review from 3 to 4 stars, but I do hope they can get a little bit faster with their service and get that 5th star eventually. Ive waited over 15 minutes for a bagel and a latte on more than one occasion, and its typically on a 10 minute work break, which can be frustrating. It kinda feels like they have that sloth from Zootopia making the bagels there sometimes. Hopefully as the newer staff members receive more training things will be a bit more expedient!

Great coffee, good atmosphere. Minus one star because none of the staff or regulars were wearing a mask when we were there. No State required sign posted either. It is what it is, but those who are concerned about such things may want to avoid.Edit: In response to the owner: there are public health recommendations and laws for a reason. I empathize with your desire for freedom, but as a business you are required to follow health department rules and state guidelines. At the very least, potential customers who don’t share your cavalier attitude towards the pandemic deserve to know your stance.

This is the absolute BEST coffee shop in town! Not only is their coffee the best Ive ever had, I also appreciate that they stand up for their rights as human beings and business owners. Thank you so much for doing whats right in a world where people are trying to point fingers and lay guilt on human beings.

Drinks are inconsistent, espresso was dead and bitter. the girls working are very niceEdit: I guess the owner can’t take simple criticism and instead calls it fake news. Never thought I’d see that from a business owner. To clarify.. I got a dirty chai a couple times and it tasted different every time and whatever espresso they put in it was usually bitter. I.E inconsistent.

Cole runs a fantastic bean centered coffee roastery. He roasts all of the beans there in house and has over 20 varieties available in the shop. Try the single origin brews, espresso drinks, or wonderful cold brew. He also roasts specialty bourbon or rum barrel aged beans. Tell him what you like and he’ll set you up! Thanks for the tour Cole!

We were so happy to see Mtn Air Roasters had moved in so close to our home. The coffee is excellent and the service can not be beat. We go through quite a bit of coffee and no longer buy it anywhere else. The craftsmanship is apparent. I love going there and will usually sit and talk with Cole over a cup of coffee for a bit. I agree with other reviews, the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. If you love coffee, you have to give their coffee a shot. I know you will be impressed.

Was passing thru GJ back to Denver. When I walked in, there was a fantastic smell and great energy! Cole served me one of the best lattes Ive ever had (and I had coffee in Panama, fresh off the farm...). Bought a bag of Sumatra to go and brewed at home - best coffee!!!! Ordered more and he shipped it super fast. So happy to have great coffee and support a CO veteran owned business! Tell your friends THIS IS THE PLACE to get coffee!!

You may not think of making this derision on your trip but you will be delighted if you are a coffee drinker and lover. The owner was so nice and showed us his operation and his prices were more then reasonable. I think we were there for over 30 minutes. You feel like you are pulling up to someones house and we felt a little unsure but we are glad we did it. Enjoy!

This is my *go to* coffee roaster. I was given a lb of coffee from CO friends several years ago. I loved the coffee. I have tried several of their blends and every time have found a new favorite. They roast and ship by order. I have never been disappointed in the freshness or quality of the product. Their customer service is excellent.Ive tried a lot of different types of coffee, but Tucan is my favorite.
