Absolutely friendly staff, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. The only bad thing I can say is that it feels a bit crowded... luckily, when I was there, it wasnt over crowded. Id recommend this establishment.

I can’t say much on the in-store experience as I’ve never actually been to their brick and mortar store. However, some of my friends and I have had several wonderful experiences special ordering over the phone from these guys. They are always willing to help us find records we can’t, they ship quickly and safely, and we’ve never had any real issues. One day I would love to make the trip out to actually visit them in person.

This shop ROCKS! Someone called me to say they had my disc and then I guess liked it so much they decided to keep it 😑 He mustve lost it and it got turned into this shop, 250 miles from my home! A year later! I tell Triple Play as such when they reach out and they happily ship it to me FUH FREE. When I eventually make it that far west, cant wait to check out this wonderful business in person 🙏

The staff at Triple Play Records is amazing. Matt Roc and Jesse are the best best selection on disc golf discs and bags and also they have more records than you can count. They have record players insences smell good. They have hats and shirts. Go down and check out Triple Play Records on main Street.

The review below that the owner says is fictional may have some truth to it after my experience. The son of the owner of this store assaulted me. I have 10 witnesses right now that saw the whole thing and I never touched the guy. They are reporting any reviews I leave. However my reviews are not inappropriate or fake. Both the son and father have a real anger problem. It is unacceptable to follow someone outside and assault someone for speaking words and not even with a tone, attitude, or raised voice. Additionally, if the person has not cursed at you, called you names, put you down, or threatened you and you assault them you have serious issues. You wonder if my review is real or fake? I bet if someone makes them angry in the slightest they will find out (however I am not encouraging this). The son thinks he is real tough, but he is clearly not. He told me the cops were coming with a egotistical smile before hitting me with a sign. They wanted to call the cops but knew I did nothing wrong. When the son hit me with the sign, the fathers attitude changed a little to knowing he was wrong but saying I was exaggerating. I am surprised life has not tought these weirdos a lesson.

They have so much to choose from, its almost overwhelming, but more fun to dive in and find a new to you treasure! Most everything Ive gotten from them has been in good shape. They let me exchange the one record I got that skipped, without any hassle. Definitely recommend!

Awesome record shop for music collectors, frisbee golfers, and gift shoppers. The vibe is laidback, quirky with lots to look at. The staff is chill, but helpful and knowledgeable. They are happy to do special orders. They actually had THE CD I had been looking for (Yes, I still listen to CD’s). Grand Junction Main Street stores and restaurants need your support and patronage now more than ever due to the pandemic. Shop local. It’s so much more fun and Amazon doesn’t need any more business. Lots of vinyl, CDs, and even disc golf paraphernalia. Most of their used vinyl is a bit expensive for my personal taste, but thats just me. There are some $2 bins, and thats where I spend most of my time. Owner Rock and son are both friendly and helpful. Well worth checking out if you are into vinyl records.

I’ve always wanted to resurrect my dads old record collection, and I needed a record player that would connect with my home system. Triple Play hooked me up with everything I needed, and it was cheaper to than the online options. Beyond that, every time I go flip through their inventory, I find something that makes my day. The place has a great vibe, and the family/staff are super helpful.

Man nearly physically assaulted me, as I kindly left his business; not rudely even wished him luck! He was behind my head was waving his hands close to me, which made my husband nervous! Shocked, we left quickly and he ran after cursing at me and yelling into the street. You do not need to intimate and threaten people, I was cordial until you were physically being aggressive! Respond differently, youre a hippy dude! Unacceptable behavior.

Awesome selection of discs and albums, these guys do a great service to the valley with their list disc return program. Plus Matt is one big hunk of man meat..

Amazing, friendly, locally owned business! Triple Play has the best disc golf selection around, and the staff is always knowledgeable and willing to help with all music and disc golf needs!

Discs are a little pricy compared to online. But it costs money to run a physical store so totally understandable. But they get 5 stars because they offer store credit for anyone who returns found disc. Creating a great community of disc golfers. And having a great disc golf community is something money cant buy.

Its a great place they know how to get you hard to find music if its out there. And for a really small fee they will mail it to you when it gets there if you are from out of town. Now thats quality service thanks guys

Great collection of classic and new vinyl, plus some cassettes (!!) and an even smaller shelf or two of CDs. Throw in an eclectic collection of stickers, badges, funky apparel and bags, but the jewels in the crown and what take up 90% of the space are the rows and rows of records, including rare collectors items. You can also grab some used and new record players/turntables as well. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, but happy to let you browse to your hearts content.

This is a great record shop. They have a wide selection with some real hard to find items and everything its priced right. Friendly staff and great location in the heart of Grand Junctions main drag. You wouldnt expect a shop this nice in a town this small.

Love this shop. Its a standard used music shop. But always a place I can spend a while and enjoy every minute. These kinds of stores are becoming a thing of the past. Grateful to have one in Junction. On Main St. no less.

Cool place and always neat to visit a downtown store. The atmosphere just feels right with a hometown feel plus almost like you have been there before but not in your current lifetime. Greeted upon entering and were happy to help with any questions I had.

When you take one step in to Triple Play Records, it’s like you’ve time-traveled back to the 70s... They have a wide variety of vinyls, cassettes, CDs, and music memorabilia from the oldies to the newbies! They do have anything that you can think of, really! Let me also add that the atmosphere is so beautifully decorated, very clean, and absolutely “far out, man!”. Definitely would recommend this place to all of my music lovers!

Live in Lake City and hardly ever get out to Grand Junction, but we I do you can find me here. Awesome selection, great, friendly staff, smells good 😂 Anyway, went in there on Sunday, January 12, 2020 and picked up a copy of Bob Dylans At Budokan, used. Pulled one record out to check condition. Looked great (as always). Purchased it and went on my merry way. Fast forward to Thursday, January 16, 2020. Went to play said LP and, much to my sadness, discovered on one record of a two record set. Quietly put it back on the shelf without even listening to it :( I wasnt even going to contact Triple Play as I live so far away, but did anyway, hopefully as a precaution so someone else wouldnt have the same bad luck. Much to my surprise, whomever I spoke with apologized immensely and offered to ship out another one the very next day. Thank you Triple Play Records. You will continue to get my business and word of mouth for years to come. Spin on!

My father-in-law loved this place. He had a good time strolling down memory lane looking through all the records and smelling the incense. The incense was a little strong for my taste but it was fun to see my father in-law look through everything.

I am an a Id disk golf player and this is the best place to get disks and equipment in town. And they sell music stuff as well.

I loved this place since the first time I set foot through the door! They have such a good selection of vinyl, both modern day and the classics, and if you cant find it there, theyll order it in for you. I even asked about a pretty obscure band that Im into, and they can order it for me. I bought my whole collection from them, and a turntable, and theyve always been so friendly.If vinyl isnt your cup of tea, not to worry! They have a really good selection of other music merch (posters, CDs, tapes, stickers) as well as incense, essential oils, disc golf, and even pipes and pieces. This place has something for every music lover. Its definitely worth a visit.

Great selection of disks, both new and used, with a friendly staff. They also have vinyl, posters, and clothing, although I cant comment on the selection and quality, as I havent checked them out. If someone finds a lost disc of yours, and turns it in here, theyll return it to you for a very slight fee.

Gem of a store in Grand Junction, Great selection of vintage & new records, Lots of genres to choose from (something for everyone). Good place to just browse for discs and they are constantly getting new vinyl records. Each visit is unique because of how often they have new items.
