I had an electric, 50gal water heater replaced with a gas, tankless water heater last summer. Today I had a whole-home water softener/conditioning system and under sink water filtration system installed. Im super impressed with the quality, professionalism, and cost from Total Care Plumbing. Unfortunately I have to alter my initially positive review. I live in Mn. and although they are licensed as plumbers, they are not licensed to do septic systems. They replaced a drainage field for me. I was very happy with their work initially until the following Monday when Polk County Planning and Zoning came out and told me that it was an illegal system and would have to be replaced. I have been trying to get Total Care plumbing o refund my money for two weeks now without success. They cannot repair it themselves since they arent qualified. Now I am in the position of having to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I may need to sue for the money and also find a licensed contractor to build it properly.

They were quick to come out and provide service in response to a backed up sewer main. Thats where the positive review ends. They charged me $2000 for services that didnt work and left behind a horrible mess, and unusable home. We had to find somewhere to stay for three days. They gave me an estimate for $10,000 to excavate and fix the problem. I just needed to call so they could get started.A second company came in for a second opinion. They knew exactly what to do and how to access it. They had every thing up and running, and cleaned up within two hours! With a total charge of $425.

They showed up on time, provided haul away service and a new water heater for the same price I would have paid at a department store.
