Worked here for 4 months had a great time in the flooring department I hated the fact that they kept pulling me to push carts or kept calling me to close to push carts. The GM doesn’t respect for his employees an that’s why he keeps losing people an doesn’t have much cart pushers or workers in general. When I called today an told him my test came back negative for Covid an I told them I wanna come in an put in my two weeks he told me not to come in cause I’m not gonna come back an I said I wanna put my 2 weeks in he said on the phone he expected it an not too come back

Super helpful staff, and lots of them. Prices are usually pretty good. Store is usually clean, organized, and well lit. The breadth of their inventory is strong.Four stars because they sell a lot of Chinese junk as well. They make sure to put it all over their high traffic areas. Try to focus on the quality products when possible, and you will enjoy the experience overall

Always great prices. Check out always pleasant. When I get lumber it is always frustrating. Go to the back of the store get a ticket- go to the front pay for it. Go out get your vehicle Go to the back of the store get scanned at the gate Go to get materials only to find that the pick ticket was incorrect. Go in the back of the store to online/contractor counter they cant help Go to material counter they cant do exchanges or credits have to go back to the front of the store to customer service then go back to the back of the store to get truck and materials then get scanned again before leaving! Uuugh! Im exhausted just writing this. It would be much simpler if the people in the back could do simple exchanges or credit transactions. I am in business I get it. But geez. I dont need that much exercise or stress.

Was looking for strippers and found a good selection. Needed a little more information and someone walked up to me with all the answers. Nice store and all the employees who waited on us were very friendly and was helpful. If Im in this town again I will stop back this store if I needed anything. I give this store an A+ for clean and helpful.

Really good place to shop.. but the other day my dad went to rent something.. and he forgot his id so the worker said a comment “ maybe cause your an Illegal “I went and confronted and she said that wasn’t her .. then later said she said it was illegal to drive with no license but why did she assume he was illegal .. or he didn’t have an IDOr that he was driving ?

Located the item I wanted which was on second from top shelf. A black+decker weed eater. Tried multiple times to flag down clerks pushing carts around and walking past. They would all act as if I was not there. A kind customer found someone in garden center she came towards me and again walked past. I asked if she was just sent to help me. She said she could not that she works in customer service!!!!!!Stopped another girl walking past and she disappeared to get a ladder. Stopped another girl, she took 15 seconds to get a ladder and done. Wanted to buy other things but ran out of time!

You have no right to ask a person to divulge private medical information it is a violation of HIPPA. You also do not own the property the store sits on and therefore it is NOT private property. When a person has been vaccinated they are NO LONGER a threat to YOU or ANYONE on your front line. Refusing customers for not wearing your socialist mask when it is no longer even a state mandate only a recommendation it discrimination.

Menards had a special on plastic crates for storage. The product was as expected, lightweight, but sturdy enough for our canning jars. The pleasant surprise was the next size up was actually $1 less than the special. Not quite as sturdy, but a good fit for tool storage. When I need a certain power d tool I pull the crate. All accessorials stay in the crate. Easy to keep everything together and avoid losing the small items like wrenches and sandpaper needed with the tool. Menards is our preferred home store for selection and price for all things house, garage, yard. Their competitor shines in appliances and riding mowers. However, Menards expanded their appliance area and provide great value, reliability, with their cordless Master Force tools. They dont typically charge a premium for smaller items compared to their competitor. In short, I love this store.

Since covid started i have been in this store twice. However, starting today i will never go back!A corporation that does not employ me has zero rights to request my health history in any way! They have taken this way too far! Thinking that they are higher up than the CDC or the so called president of the United States!? No.

Never shop at Menards. They have Munchausen Syndrome there. They are totally unreasonable and forced us to act as though we were sick when we are perfectly healthy. They made us buy their china produced masks to have service. I will take my business elsewhere where we are treated with some intelligence and reasonable service. The state of Indiana no longer enforces us to act like we are sick when we are not.

The mens bathroom looked like a out house. There was pee all over and the toilets werent even worse. I would not even let my mother use the bathroom there they should feel bad about that.

This is my store.. Ive been in many Menards. Nice clean store, great staff, even before covid!! Love you guys

Ive been to this Menards many times over the years. Ive never had a problem with them. Weve gotten things for many different projects from here and always been helped with a smile. Id recommend this Menards to anyone.

Good prices on lumber compared with other big box stores.

I wont go to Menards anymore because of the mask policy. I dont mind wearing it, but they would not let me bring my 5 year old grandson into the store. Since I couldnt leave him in the car, I had to leave. When I questioned the front door attendant, he immediately said Do you want me to get the store manager? Nah, Ill just go to Lowes, better service, better availability, and a reasonable mask policy.I get we are supposed to wear them, but when a store like this forces me to wear or not enter, it leaves a bitter taste for many years. Im taking my business elsewhere.

Found everything needed than some. Great help at Goshen location too.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. I just went in to the store to start purchase for my home I need insulation. After asking for help one of the staff a young woman informed me I had to wear a mask. I informed her I had a disability and that the law protects people like me from being discriminated against. But she went and got more staff to gang up and me and say if I dont wear a mask Im not allowed to make purchase. I have a degerative disease APS . I am on blood thinners and masks lower your oxygen levels in your blood. This is the first and last time I ever go into this corporation again. Lowes and home depot have never done this. Also if there are any lawyers looking for a case please contact me maybe we can do a class actions with all disable persons that have been victims of discrimination from these bullies. I now know how African Americans felt under Jim crow.

Ran in for a gas line fitting. After 5 minutes of looking for the right section of the store, finally found someone to ask- not sure if all stores are the same but it was to the far left wall, almost. I really like Menards for the wide selection and fair prices.

Was told by employee that sits at the gate to the yard that I needed to where a mask everywhere in the county and if I got out of my truck I have to put a mask on. I respect the store policy on masks but I will not wear a mask outside. None of their yard employees had a mask on either... Good store. Needs new yard gate attendant.

So over the mask program and Menards employees are made to tell you to get them on. Most of the time the employees are not wearing them correctly. Went to buy a craftsman top toolbox but evidently they are discontinued the craftsman brand at Menards. Tried to get a deal on the last one (display model) and they only wanted to drop the price by 20 bucks. Sorry Menards Ill go someplace else.

Menards has a wide variety of different items. I can always find something to purchase. Always like it at Christmas when they bring out the Lionel train cars.

Nice place. Went for string for my string trimmer, hummingbird food, and a craftsman socket set. Used a 33 dollar rebate that I got in the mail. They just scanned it and that was it.

Why Menards when its 18 miles round-trip? Lowes is 1 1/2 miles round-trip. Customer service, cleanliness, availability and selection and also price. Thats it in a nutshell.

I recently took a young lady to shop at menards who was handicapped. She had a card from her doctor exempting her from wearing a mask because of her health issues.The front worker along with manager of goshen indiana store refused to let her shop and said she must wear a mask or a face shield.It seems a little discriminating.I guess it would be better to shop at LOWES because they dont discriminate and they allow entry to people with health issues.

Gate attendant needs to find a new job. very rude. and the people picking my stuff up, gave me an empty wrapper for a part. very easy to tell, as it was a paper wrap around the drain cover, but still, nothing but the wrapper and no cover in the box. sad state of employees these days. no one seems to care at all. sorry, this was the elkhart, cassopolis street store location.

I always look forward to going to Menards when ever traveling around the country. I wished we had a Menards in Arizona. Menards is truly a one stop shopping. I never been disappointed shopping. The young clerk checking me out this morning was very pleasant and actually carried on a light conversation. Was impressed with all the employees I had contact with.

We went to store in camby in. menards to check on freezer. They were nice enough to call to goshen menards store. We put a 20 cu ft freezer on your card to save this item. We drove 3 hours to get there. When we got there,went around back to pick up. It was nice of them to wrap it up for us, but we dont like to buy something sight unseen. Didnt get a copy of what we bought ( pictures of what it is suppose to look like, ). Loaded up. Checked paperwork was a different price, than was on internet. Finally got a answer. Drove 3 hours back in rain. We hope this is going to work, did not know if it a floor model, hoping this is what we can use. We were just glad to find a freezer.

The lumber people are so unhelpful they make u load it yourself pretty much when it is there job to and you shouldn’t have to help them plus they broke the side marker off of the trailer we where using just pitiful I’ve seen better service from other places then what they have shown in the lumber yard. If I could rate them a zero I so would.

People have always been wonderful at Menards, and for the most part have been helpful. But, last night on November 14, 2016 my family had a very uncomfortable incident. As my brother and dad approached the register, the cashier (Pamela) seem to be nice. My brother asked her if they would be able to put their transaction on my dads Big Card. With a surprised look on her face she said Oh you have one? and giggled like it was something funny that a Hispanic man had a credit card. My brother answered her saying Yes, we do but would you be able to look it up?. She asked for my fathers birthday and entered it and asked for him to type in his social (giggling) again making them feel like pretty much like crap. After he enters his number, she makes a smart remark Oh he passed! My brother then asked her Why wouldnt he? She responds with You never know he might have entered someone else social security number.Just because we looked Hispanic, gives her no right to treat us the way she did. Making us feel like if we were some kind of joke to her.

Menards has everything from indoor to outdoor needs , but some things are really costly...

3 boxes of t25 screws... Six 2x3x8s.... 2 sheets of 7/16 Osb.....and 2 sets of hinges for a total of $70.32.😳 dont see where I saved big money shopping at menards .... 🙄
