We had a wonderful experience trying on hiking boots. The staff were very helpful and offered insight on the pros and cons of different brands of shoes. This kind of customer service is hard to find and much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this store!

Great experience! Hometown feel. The staff is amazing and the selection is enormous. I’d rather spend a few extra bucks to support a local business than shop at a corporate conglomerate. Adam is the owner and made all of the shoppers feel welcomed whether or not they made a purchase. I will definitely be going back to make future purchases.

Adam, the owner, is extremely reasonable, understanding and honest! He has been so generous and kind. I have a lot of foot pain and they help me every time find something comfortable and stylish. If it’s not a good fit, he always makes it right. Alex is very patient and kind, we need that with these important and pricey decisions. Another thing is that they are all so knowledgeable and won’t just sell you something. They take an Interest in your needs and want to make you happy and for your feet to feel good! I wish every business operated with their integrity. They’re doing it right and making tons of friends along the way! This place is seriously wonderful. The perfect little neighborhood shoe and boot store. My husband and kids have been going here for years instead of the giant stores. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable (not like the typical store where someone is just punching a clock and cant hope to guide you to the best pair you need). They have a great inventory and have excellent pricing too. Long live small businesses and local businesses. This is without a doubt my favorite shoe store! Not only do they have the great brands (Merrell, Rieker, Sorel, Keen and so many others), but they are genuinely helpful in a non-pushy way. I bought two pairs of shoes last week, and a knowledgeable staff person saved me a lot of time and effort by listening to my wish list and selecting excellent options that met my criteria. Im really pleased with my new shoes and the entire experience was a very good one!

I am from NY, every year I go whale watching in Gloucester. A few years ago I discovered this amazing place that sold shoes.Adam and his staff at Mark Adrian are totally amazing! The customer service is remarkable!If they didn’t have the color or size in something I wanted Adam would order it for me and shipped it to my home .If ever anyone is visiting Gloucester I highly recommend Mark Adrian Shoe store.

This store is a gem: beautiful, quality, blissfully comfortable footwear and a super friendly sales team. I went in looking for flat sandals and ended up leaving with a gorgeous pair of Aetrex wedge espadrilles! I love them! I haven’t had a pair of pretty shoes in years!I was able to order another pair of sandals to be picked up later and my husband found a pair of Merrill’s that fit his thin feet. We’ll be back!

Every town should be so lucky to have such an awesome shoe store. The selection is all high quality and beautiful makes. The customer service and conversation was so pleasant and welcoming. We also got some great ideas for where to go and eat next. The sweet guy who was showing us their selection even offered us some tour books to help guide us. Literally my only regret in our recent family vacation was not being able to stop in on our last day due to timing issues from the storm/weather outing- I really wanted to see if those dark red ankle boots could maybe be ordered! Overall, I highly recommend.

What a delightful experience I had buying shoes. I am tall with long feet and doubted I would have any luck finding shoes to fit. The staff was not only amazingly kind, they worked hard to find the perfect shoe. The choice was hard! The best shoe selection and customer service! Ill be back.

Very helpful, patient staff.Wide variety of brands and styles.Shoes are expensive but worth the money.They keep records of what you buy so you can reorder if that shoe is still available.Great customer service. If a shoe fails in some way, they fix it or refund product cost.

I have very hard to fit feet and am always hunting for shoes that fit. This store has more that will work for my feet than any other I have seen in my long years of searching. They also have great salespeople who know about shoes and know how to fit their customers. Ive got to go back and have another look at those wonderful Beautifeel sandals.

This was one of the best shoe buying experiences I have ever had. I was looking for comfortable shoes that werent ugly. This place exceeded expectations in every way. We were in town for a wedding and I took some time to walk main street and see things. I popped in to just see what they had and ended up with a pair of boots. When I was out wearing the boots that day they felt a little snug and so I took them back and they streched them for me. While I was waiting for the boots I found a great pair of slip on shoes for everyday and bought them as well. The staff was friendly and asked me about my needs and then found footwear to fit my life. If I lived in the Boston area this would be my only stop for great shoes. Purchases were competative with online prices.

They saved my boyfriend! We had a wedding last weekend and he forgot his dress shoes, I called Mark Adrian Shoes and they took care of us. On the phone, I called and they told me to bring him right in five minutes before the wedding- we raced and all the associates raced over and helped him, had shoes lined up to try on when he walked in. They saved us! We made it to the ceremony just in time with new dress shoes thanks to them!

I drive almost an hour to visit this store whenever I need shoes. You tell them what foot and knee problems you have and they direct you away from shoes you should not wear.... and guide you to some to the best designed shoes for looks and comfort. The shoes they recommend always end up my go tos.

Awesome shop all of the employees were extremely helpful, especially Judy. Would rate the customer service a 20/5 if possible! I was looking for a pair of black mens dress shoes in a size 12 and was able to quickly find a pair that were also on sale. Also I got to hear a fantastic true story about how TOS James Doohan asked Judy out. Which certantly made my day. If you go in while shes working definitely ask her about it.
