Unwind is a family affair! Lauren works magic on my color and cuts, but the rest of the family appreciates haircuts, waxing and facial services from the whole Unwind team as well. And this is not just ANY salon. I like to support businesses that share my values, and the team at Unwind believes in sustainable practices and products as well as offering retail items from socially conscious companies. I know when I purchase something at Unwind or get a service done, my money is supporting a wonderful locally owned female business that has the pulse on what is important to residents of Cape Ann.

When I was married in June 2019, we turned to Unwind for wedding hair for myself, my mother, my MIL, and my MOH, and they absolutely delivered! Not only did they pull off beautiful mani/pedis for several of the group the day before the wedding, they also accommodate quite a large group of us on the day of, and pulled together some lovely, simple styles perfectly suited to my backyard wedding. Most of the group only needed blowouts, but my hair (including a hairpiece) was a bit trickier-- huge thanks to Lauren for pulling it off!
