Always a reliable place to get a nice cup of coffee or espresso drink along with pastries, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches. The service is prompt and friendly. Try them out rather than the ubiquitous chain with redundant locations in the area. Open at 6a, so perfect for grabbing something to go watch the sunrise at Good Harbor down the road.

Hoping that the owners will take a look at recent reviews and make staff changes. I went here every single day for many months after moving to Gloucester and the service and quality have really hit rock bottom. I keep hoping to resume my regular schedule, but am disappointed almost every time I give Cape Ann Coffees another shot. It seems ludicrous given historic excellent reviews that recent reviews about watery burnt coffee or flavored milk as lattes could be true, but sadly they are. I don’t even know how this happens, but it is clearly staff related. There is a significant improvement whenever the owners are present.

What a shame that this prime location can not seem to get my order right almost every time I go. Now as of recently if I order a coffee what I get is a glass of flavored milk. If you enjoy coffee and would like your sandwich to come out the way you ordered it I would suggest to go elsewhere. May I add I only order from what is on the menus without any special request and although there prices are the highest in town, they still seem to not be able to get it right.

Watch out for overcharging... ordered vegetarian special wrap which stated your choice of cheese & spread for $8.75; however, they charge extra for cheese and spread - new total $10.50. When asked why it states choice yet they charge extra for it I received a shrug followed by a I dont know what the menu says but this is what the register says, do you still want it.

I’m so upset. I went to get lunch and a coffee because I normally enjoy what they have to offer, but today I asked for a vanilla iced latte (which is what i order every time). Instead I got a burnt iced coffee with a pump of flavor shot. There was no milk and it tasted horrific, i asked them to put milk in it but i still left with a bad tasting coffee. The cashier and the girl making the coffees were both rude and had bad attitudes, it was a very discouraging experience. The only positive part of the whole ordeal was the woman who made my sandwich, she did a great job and was very kind about the coffee. Overall, i don’t think i’ll be coming back. I wanted to support a small business but i guess i’ll need to find a new place.

Went here for the 1st time to pick up coffee for an Elderly Couple. Not sure Ill be back. The cashier was a bit rude to me just because I called a Raspberry Danish, Strawberry. I didnt know, it was my 1st time there. Her response- Its Raspberry. (Not in a nice way.) Would be nice to just explain what each Danish was, or just reply in a friendlier tone.

I had a yummy pastry and great cup of coffee. They have a nice seating area and it was nice to sit and relax a bit. I arrived just before the morning rush and Id advise getting there early on Sunday morning. Its a busy place for good reasons.

Great iced coffee and bagel sandwiches. We just happened upon the place, used the drive thru, which was surprisingly efficient. Very nice people working there, I will definitely be back. Great spot.

I go here at least 4x a week, I always have a 10 month old and 3 year old, so I love that they have a drive through and healthy food. I usually grab a iced caramel macchiato, soup/wrap/or breakfast sandwich, and cookie to share with my 3 year old. The owner is funny and so nice, and I appreciate that he remembers me. The other workers are always pleasant and helpful. Their food and coffee is addictive!!!! I love this place.

I love the bacon egg and cheese, best in Gloucester I think. Especially if you eat there, its crispier. The bagels they use are very good. I always get mine on an everything bagel. Quick service, I also really like all the soups.

Food was good, coffee was good, staff did miss place our order and serve others after we had ordered. Once we asked about our order they found it and put it together quickly, though the inside was cold

I found this place on my gluten free app while driving around Massachusetts. Had a really tasty wrap. The wrap was so soft I was worried it wasnt gluten free! It wasnt crumbly like most gluten free wraps tend to be.
