Very nice people, unless you need help with something. I imagine they dont pay their employees very well. Ive been going for 6 years, and the turnover is high. Pretty much an equal mix of friendly and d-bags. Printing services are a bit pricey, but Ive generally had good luck. Dont expect any real help from an employee. Id say, better to order online for store pickup. School supply options equivalent to Target. Printer ink same price as Costco and Office depot.

Good store. They have a big inventory, But i needed some thing special, so they ordered it and it came in the mail i did not need to make a special trip back. Thats great service. The floor rep was wonderful.

Super friendly staff always willing to assist! And did you know they have a UPS store/drop off right in the Staples store?! They also have free shredding up to 2lbs!

Terrible experience. They don’t care to complete a job per customer request. When the job is done poorly, they will give you an attitude and not rectify the situation. Please go to Fedex for superior customer service and quality work

Staples in Waukegan Rd, GLenview IL is a shop to go! Staff are helpful. They approach customers and ask if they can help them look for what they need. They also offer sincere suggestion or recommendation. They exhibit an extra mile customer service and they truly deserve a 5 star.

I enjoyed sitting in the chairs before buying one for my home office. The staff were helpful in getting it to the counter and my car but knew to give me space while sitting in each chair. I also found some resources for the business that will save me money in the future.

The store has always been helpful. I shop there weekly. But recently purchased 2 file cabinets with the “Staples” name. I purchased them 1 month ago. 1 is great and the other has a drawer that keeps falling off the track and it is hard to fix. I called today and spoke to Samantha, store mgr, and she told me without the box they can’t take it back! Who would keep the box? Also there return policy is 14 days. I don’t want to return it, it’s not my fault their product doesn’t work corretly. Why should I buy new after 1 month of owning it? I will never shop at staples again. Too bad they are so convenient! I own a business. Customer service is where it’s at. Staples just doesn’t have it!

Ive asked employees questions and no one answer my question they just looked at me like I was nobody. Couldnt find any help at all

The location is great. But the service is nothing special. I was in the store the other day asking for help finding something and the employee just pointed and said its some where over there. I went to look, couldnt find it and then asked his help again and he said that if I dont see it then they dont have it in stock. My gf later was walking around and happened to find what I was looking for in a completely different aisle. So if you need something and can find it yourself then there wont be any problems. They need better service.

The lady doing the book binding was very rude to my friend and talking about her to her coworker right in front of my friend. Other than that we had a great experience with all other staff members.

Don’t know why people rate This store so low. They always been amazing all the printing an office supply needs I’ve ever had. The staff is always helpful and always polite. Thank you Staples providing a cheap but also extremely efficient and helpful office supply depot in Glenview. Plus you’re really close to the Walgreens.

I refuse to shop at Staples because of how rude the staff is at this location. I stopped in to buy a printer and the manager literally took a sale sign off the printer I grabbed and said I would have to pay full price. Dont shop here.

Attempted to check out for 15 minutes through a multitude of Point of Sale system malfunctions. Zero customer service or awareness to customer experience. Wont be returning in the future.

I ordered business cards online and the quality was horrible. The colors were off, they did not cut them correctly and the cuts were inconsistent. They are going in the recycling bin. A total waste of money.

Waited for 10 mins for rolls of stamps because they only had one roll at checkout. Then they sell me 3 rolls of forever and 3 postcard stamps. I have NEVER walked out of this store less than completely annoyed. Never coming back here again!

Five stars Terrible! Did not honor internet $50.00 printer trade in. Could have made things right, failed. This is why Amazon will close stores like this.

Ive used this Staples for 6yrs, so by now Ive amassed enough experiences here to tell you truly that it is a nightmare. I dread every visit. I have never gotten out of here in less than 20min because of the absurdly complicated check out process. Do you have a rewards card? Coupons? Tax exempt? Are you turning in empty ink cartridges? Did you think the card swiper would actually read your card? Did you think that when it didnt the store employee would know what to do? There are always plenty of employees milling around, but none of them is empowered to help w/ anything beyond the most basic tasks w/o calling a manager for help. Stream line your process Staples. Not for my benefit, b/c i hope never to shop here again, but for the benefit of the customers you havent yet alienated by wasting hours of their lives standing in your checkout lines or suffering through your Dada-inspired checkout process.

Waited on hold for 15 minutes until someone actually picked up the phone, I went online to check stock, what took me 3 minutes on the web took the man on the phone in front of a staples inventory computer over 20 minutes.Afterword, no service was recommended otherwise, help or request to hold the product for me. not surprising it has a 2.8/5 rating when your employees can type and search 2-3X slower than their consumers.

I went in looking for a diamond cut paper shredder. I had to browse a bit to find them. Three different employees saw me and did not offer me any help or greet me. I lingered looking at the shredders and an employee walked over and made eye contact and just stared at me. I felt very uncomfortable. Why wouldnt you greet your customer and make them feel welcome? Three employees with no accountability and a clear lack of concern for the business they work for. I decided to leave and as I passed the cashier(a fourth employee) on the way out I didnt get a thank you for coming in or didnt find what you were looking for today?. The dangers of employing staff like this is that they let sales walk out the door and then wonder why corporate closes the location or goes bankrupt. You need staff that feels a sense of ownership and care otherwise they dont deserve to be employed. I went to ABT Electronics in Glenview where I was treated like a Rockstar and spent nearly $200 on a high capacity, diamond cut paper shredder with a protection plan added on. Go someplace else if you want good service. Youll be dissatisfied and disappointed at the Staples in Glenview. As a customer you are the reason retailers are in business and without you they would have to close their doors forever. Spend your hard earned money at places that want to earn your business and deserve it.
