My son and I stopped in to try and find some quality bedroom furniture for his room. We crossed paths with at least 4 people that worked there and no one even said Hello. We also didn’t find anything that he liked and honestly, his taste was not really difficult. He just likes clean lines, simple and modern. If anyone had even asked if we wanted help, they might have made a sale. Instead, we found what we were looking for at Old Brick. I would have preferred to buy local but high prices, poor service and limited selection was not going to win the day.

I want to say that every employee that i interacted with was 100% about great customer service. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make sure I slept in a bed asap. Well done, all!

Ordered a chair in March. Came in a month ago they just called me. I am currently unable to afford it at this time I can’t get a refund of my deposit only a store credit. Scammers. Don’t buy anything from these scammers. Out $100.

We ordered a whole bedroom set here in June, we just received the bed frame a week ago (November). They brought it in new in a box and assembled it but the paint was already chipping off of it, theres dents in the wood they just painted over. They broke the drawers. They left a huge Styrofoam mess in my bedroom and multiple screws on my floor for my 1 year old to find. I had to wait on 2 deliveries because they brought the wrong stuff the first time. They just left all of the wrong stuff qt my house for the next guys to pick up so my bedroom was off limits for hours considering I have toddlers I didnt need to be squashed by furniture boxes leaning everywhere.We received the dressers in July but one of them was damaged and they had to exchange that. We called the store and asked them to take the frame down and bring us back just the box springs. They agreed but didnt bring us the same box springs we had before, very disappointed with there lack of customer service. When we called Amanda tried to tell us we would just have to leave a message because she apparently cant find 1 out of 3 managers the store has. I have always bought mattresses here but I would never buy furniture here again now that I see what poor quality junk they bring you.

Literally the only negative thing about the whole process was my inability to use ratchet straps LOL, great place

Lots of variety, our salesman Lyle was very helpful and kind. My grandfather and I purchased a sleeper couch there, and lyle showed us the couch with the mattress part fully out. He also showed us its cool things it does. We were very pleased with the check out service. The deals for black friday where pretty great too. Cant wait to come back and decorate my home with their stock. 🙂

Going in with no prior knowledge of the store, the name bare bones is extremely misleading. The name lead me to believe it might have discount or affordable furniture, but as a college student getting a new apartment, all of the furniture is way out of a realistic price range for me. This isnt to say the furniture is bad, its just not a place for cheap furniture.

Love my sofa I purchased. Very courteous staff . Prompt delivery and they delivered to the second story level. But the couch isnt holding up well at all we are both light weight and the couch is sinking in . Not happy.😞😞

We bought a house and needed to furnish it entirely. Livingroom, bedframes, dining and kitchen. We have had issues with each and every item. This furniture has not even lasted 2 years. We have had service come 3 different times for the same issues with our livingroom set the first year. It will be going on 2 years and the sofa, love seat and recliner are all broken. I was going to trash the furniture because Im so disgusted but for 2500 bucks Im giving one more call for repair. 2 bed frames returned because they fell apart, kitchen table have pieces falling off (which I did not notify them because like I said disgusted) but I cant afford another 2500 to another furniture place so Im giving the service department another chance.Edit: have been in contact with Bare Bones. Will update review after they come to look at the furniture.

When I made my order, a mistake had occurred. It happens but the customer service to fix the problem was outstanding. The people who work here went above and beyond to correct the problem. Thank you!

I went in with my son to buy a recliner, my son who is two was sitting in a chair rocking and a sales woman made an off comment about how kids shouldnt be sitting in the chairs they could ruin them to another customer. If it was a problem the person could have said something to me rather than make a rude comment to someone else in the store. Every time Ive been in here over the last couple of months the salesmen are rude and will not leave you alone. I will never be back and will be telling people to stay away from here.

Bought a bed set/bed frame deal back in March. Bed frame just broke. The metal completely tore apart as if it was paper. The wooden slabs in the middle snapped in half as well. Not sure if this is common or not but dont recommend getting a frame from them

Great place to shop for quality furniture. We had our furniture delivered and the employees that brought our furniture were very respectful and made sure everything was right and in working condition before they left. Very professional.

I was approved for a fair enough credit line. Able to get couch and coffee table plus 6 kitchen chairs. Both times my wife and I went the employees were nice, they dont attack you trying to push their merchandise which is a relief. Though they do assist you when needed.

We went there on Black Friday and got a good deal on a reclining sofa, loveseat and rocking recliner. It was delivered the following Monday despite a very significant snow storm there were no delays. The store is surprisingly large and has tons of choices. No salespeople were pushy, they just answered our questions and pointed us to the right areas. The delivery guys were very quick and pleasant set everything up exactly as we wanted. It is pretty early for a review of the furniture since it has been in our home less that 24 hours, but so far we are very happy and the experience was top notch! Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the market. Provided the furniture is as well made as I believe it is, I am sure we will be back again for any of our furniture needs.

Great sales service! Delivery and setup could use a lot of improvement. We were charged $75 and they did not setup the couch the way we needed them to. I had previously expressed this to the sales person it would need to be changed when delivered. She said yes that it was included in the delivery. The guys came to the house and when my husband asked them to change it they said its really easy you can do it yourself and left. We had to call someone to come back out to do it, as we do not have the tools. He had it put together in 20 minutes. So hopefully they can get their delivery drivers to do all of their job next time.

Heather followed through on her word. She really did go beyond what I expected I really just wanted an apology from the delivery helper.

Got a beautiful bedroom set there. One piece got broken. Been five weeks and still waiting for replacement. Its still a good place to shop for quality furniture. Very helpful staff.

Greeted as we walked in. Associate asked what we were looking for and directed us to that area. Another associate met and greeted us and told us to look around and he would be back to answer any questions. We gave him a description of what we were looking for, and he showed us a few models. We made our decision and proceeded to order and pay for it. I recommend. No pressure, casual atmosphere.

They pull the Bait and Switch method. Show you a really high end recliner and then when you pick it up its not the same recliner and they swear up and down that it is. This place is a joke. If you are looking for a nice piece of furniture o would go elsewhere, they have good stuff on the floor but you dont get what you see on the floor.

Bought a couch and love seat last year. Absolutely love them. Great solid quality. Prices are a little high if you dont hit a good sale but worth it. We just recently brought a dresser from here as well seems like it will last and it is a beautiful piece.

You are free to look around without a sales person breathing down the back of your neck. I don’t like when salesmen are like that. When I’ve found what I was looking for I approached the salesmen and the sale was made. They are very friendly. I recommend stopping in if you are in need of furniture.

We went to the Columbus day sale and quickly realized that the sale couches were cheaply made. My husband went to sit down on one and it sounded like something broke. Even the sales women said that the noise didnt sound promising. Did feel comfortable buying anything but the staff was friendly.

In the past 2 years I have spent alot of time and money here. The sales staff are great, helpful without being pushy, their customer service is second to none. Great place to get stuff for your home, apartment, camp, lounge etc.

I was surprised at the price of some of their merchandise, because they claim to have warehouse and discount prices, but they did have a large selection of different styles of furniture. I found some wooden furniture pieces that had Made in Taiwan stickers on them. I did very much enjoy their selection of upholstered furniture. They had a fully upholstered rocking chair which I fell in love with. Their sales staff were friendly and as I mentioned previously there was a lot to look at. They have a free onsite parking lot.

We went to pick out a new mattress and living room set last week. We decided on a mattress but couldn’t agree on the living room set so we paid for and set up delivery for just the mattress. We told him that we were going to look at some other places for the living room set and if we couldn’t find anything we told him we would call to add on the set that we saw there. He said that was fine and that our delivery was all set. He wrote on our receipt that the mattress alone would be delivered on Wednesday 3/21/18 between 10am and 2pm. Removal of our old mattress was even on the receipt. We thanked them and then went to Livingston’s and found a living room set that was more for us. So today is Wednesday 3/21 and at 1:54 our mattress still wasn’t delivered. I called asking about it and the man that put in the order told me that we never set up a delivery (even though it’s on our receipt). I argued saying that it was on my receipt and that I had it. He said he must have wrote it on my receipt and not put it in the computer. Then blamed us for not calling to tell him if we were adding on the living room set. We said we would call IF we wanted to add it. That doesn’t mean don’t deliver the mattress that we paid for and set up delivery on. He then told me he could try to deliver it tomorrow. So I wasted my only day off waiting for over 4 hours for a delivery that didn’t come until 3:30. This was only after arguing that I had already stripped down my bed and put it downstairs, out on the porch and had nothing to sleep on. Some prices are decent but their sense of accountability when they make a mistake is pathetic and apparently so is their organization skills. Our first experience buying items from them was fantastic so it’s very unfortunate that this happened. There was more that we didn’t like too but I’m just going to leave it at this. We won’t be back.

Heard they had black Friday deals so I went and got my kid something she wanted.wuz not a bad price for the item. I did want something that was made out of real wood. I thought they would have had a bigger selection. They have alot of everything else.

I’ve bought no less than five beds from them, and they’ve been so helpful. When my mattress buckled, it was replaced. I bought a couch from a competitor and it was destroyed in a year. Purchased a couch and recliner here. Been years and they’re amazing!

The salespeople are snakes. I bought a queen sized mattress for $1200, that I was told was quality and wouldnt develop a dip in it. Well 5 months later and Im sleeping in a bowl shaped bed now. These people KNOW these mattresses are trash yet they push them anyway because I imagine the store makes a better profit off that specific brand. Or the guy just totally lied to me and didnt know what he was talking about. Terrible place to shop if you want to buy anything quality. All their couches and tables are cheaply made as well. IKEA has better furniture than this dump.

We purchased a mattress from Bare Bones a while ago, I couldnt remember when and didnt have the receipt anymore. The mattress we purchased from them was actually 2 extra long twins to make up our king size bed (we were concerned a full king mattress wouldnt fit up the stairway). One side was sagging very badly. I called Bare Bones on a Saturday and told them what was happening and that I didnt know exactly when we purchased the mattress or if there was any warranty on it. She kindly looked up our account and found that we purchased it in 2011. She asked me to take pictures and email to them, which I did. I was told that someone would call me on Monday. True to their word, someone called me on Monday... Lyle. He was very understanding and offered us a generous amount of credit to replace the mattress. He also said that they were replacing both sides and not just the sagging xl twin. He asked that we come in when he was there, which we did on Wednesday. He was extremely helpful in helping us pick out a new mattress. When we sat down to do the paperwork (and, of course, I upgraded to a better mattress so we owed them a bit more than the credit) he let us know that they were also replacing the box spring which I never thought of replacing. When I looked at our old paperwork copy I realized he gave us FULL PRICE CREDIT towards the new mattress. Holy cow! We were very pleased. It continued with the delivery service. My husband was home when the guys came to deliver it. He was very impressed with both of them. Very efficient and in-and-out quickly. They actually fit a full king size mattress up the stairs (thanks guys). This place has excellent service! Ask for Lyle and tell him Patty Wax (VanDyke) sent you. She did as she said and listened to what we needed, and didnt start a big push on something else. Our family purchased a living room set as well as a dining room set at Bare Bones Furniture. The staff was very polite and even though there was a defect in the table they were able to work with us. I would recommend Bare Bones Furniture and Chad Quirion & Heather Quirion.
