Needed 2 wood screws to complete a repair. Knew I could come here get assistance and check out in a friendly timely manner. When ever possible I come here instead of the huge warehouse hardware stores. Always friendly helpful & clean.

Could not find what I wanted there. Hardware store where I was looking for two or three items and I couldnt find any of them. It looks like a welt stock store but. And Ive had good luck in the past with them but not carrying hose bibs and different size sand papers is something very common then they should have had.

I have no problem following up with great customer service but they way i was treated at this location by their associates will have me going back to big box hardware.

I understand youngsters have a lot to learn. If they are not absolutely positive about something they may or may not carry, they need to ask another employee with more experience. Never didmiss the customer.

As always the staff were extremely helpful friendly and have most of the odds and ends that one needs for projects. Its not one of those giant brick-and-mortar stores like Home Depot or Lowes but their clothes convenient and do have an excellent selection with knowledgeable staff which is in most cases more than you can say for those big box stores.

This location has great customer service. The employee are nice, polite and helpful. They take the time out to answer all of your questions.

Its a little smaller than my other favorite Ace Hardware store (Merrills in La Puente) so sometimes they dont have what I need, but the employees are indeed helpful hardware folks.

Went to make a copy of a key and after the copy was made the worker threw us the key back. At first we asked if we could use a certain key design and he said it won’t fit. After asking another worker he saw it did. I believe he got mad and that’s when he decided to throw the key back at us. Very disrespectful.

Just went for a quick stop by needed wall plate. It was 2 minutes till closing and they followed us around and rushed us out. Most places let you shop and arent so aggressiveabout getting you out.

I know that Ace Hardware stores are locally owned and I would truly like to see all local businesses flourish in these difficult times. Ive made the trek to this store on a number of occasions even though I have a larger chain hardware store in walking distance from my house. I was disappointed on my last visit, where I went for a new o-ring for the stopper in my bathroom sink. I was told that putty would work much better for that application. While this sounded a little strange, the guy told me that he had installed dozens of sinks and knew what he was talking about. It turns out that putty works great for sealing immovable joints, but for a stopper that raises and lowers, the o-ring is really the way to go. I was pushed toward the putty in spite of the fact that I had a picture on my phone that clearly showed where I was trying to put the o-ring. After experiencing total failure with the putty, I resigned myself to getting a generic o-ring from the warehouse store whose signature color is the same as that of the outgoing president that their former CEO is buddies with.

I like to support small businesses. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had keys made there but did not find the exact screw hooks I was looking for, but the store is nice and fairly well stocked.

I frequent Ace Hardware because its down the street from me but also because I like the people who work there. Today I had a very special experience with the cashier who works there who was very cordial and happy. I know people have been on edge because of this covid-19 virus but lately it hasnt quite been the same there except for today and the lady made me feel so welcome for coming into their store. The people that work on the floor however are always helpful and do the lifting for me and even take the things out to put them in the truck when theyre heavy. All in all Ace Hardware on Route 66 is a great place to go and I find really good sales there. Thank you Ace Hardware and many thanks to the young lady that took care of my purchases today.

I went to Mission Ace Hardware today to have some door knobs and dead bolts rekeyed. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they could do the job right then and they were cheaper than everyone else that I had called. They were friendly and fast. I would highly recommend Mission Ace Hardware.

Came in to get white spray primer for my car. I have to drill 4 holes into my bumper and fender on both sides. To prevent any rusting I have to buy primer so that it’ll stop the rust process from happening. Came to the checkout line and was told you have to be 18 to purchase, which is understandable. So I called my dad to come pick up the primer instead. When he came, he was told that he couldn’t buy the primer either because he was suspected of buying it for a “kid” and my intentions were to “vandalize” and “destroy property”. After I strictly told the worker what my intentions were with the primer. This problem that we had was very weird because, while on the phone with my father, I was told “sorry” multiple times by the worker because my dad had to come pick it up. My father spoke to the manager and was told the same thing. Personally my father and I aren’t shocked. Ace Hardware in Glendora has a pretty good representation of having these problems with most customers. DO NOT shop here.

I agree with Cora. There is one female employee that really ruins the reputation of this store. She is thin, roughly late 40s, short brown hair and glasses. She is very rude and never smiles or offers help. I stopped shopping at Ace because of her stern attitude toward people so please people speak up and agree with me If she is removed from this store, I will come back. Until then I will buy all my supplies for my construction business somewhere else.

Great little hardware store. Has most things you need for home repairs. A little pricey but time you spend gas and time running to the big stores it balances out. Staff is very helpful. Ace IS the place.

I have not had a bad experience at this store until today. I wanted to get some advice about paints and the lady that helped me was very RUDE. She treated me like I was interrupting her day and better things to do. I will take my business elsewhere.

I was looking for locksmith to rekey my door locks and dead bolts. I called a few mobile locksmiths and the service call was so outrageous I decided to remove the hardware and take it to Mission Ace Hardware. They only charged me $7.00 a lock and had the work done within an hour on a busy Saturday.

Best hardware store experience by far.I love the order online and pick up at the store.

It has a great selection of hard to find nuts and bolts and the prices are the same if not better then some larger corporately owned stores (Home Depot, Lowes) I really enjoy the personal service I get when I visit.

I only needed a couple of keys made for my new tool box , live near Merritts Ace Hardware but cant stand the workers there. So I drove to Mission Ace Hardware on foothill in Glendora. Upon entering the store you realize that you are among professionals. They welcome to the store . Its clean and organized. I went straight to the back had my keys made . Decided to do a little shopping . Eventually I found items to finish several small projects around the house.Dont feel that way when I shop at Merritts, there I feel sick and want to get out of there before I wind up telling someone to go(Fu%&-☆《FF). The employees at Mission are knowledgeable and courteous. The parking lot is clean and safe . Your car will still be there when you come out . Merritts your lucky to get to your car Alive . Will continue to only use Merritts for small emergencies, but most of my repair projects will be from Mission .No I dont work for the company , just cant stand lazy people or Home Depot people .

This place is has the worst people working... racists, judgemental, stero typing, employees.. NEVER coming back... i stepped into the store with my husband, he asked for the restroom, and as soon as hr walked away the employees were making comments infront of me... assuming he was stesling.. the employees were told by another female employee to watch my.husband and follow him through the store.. infront of me.. i was shocked! As we went towards the items we went to in to BUY we were asked ar leasr 10 times by 3 different employees if we needed help.. we were in the store no longer that 30 minutes.. since we were pretty much asked to leave because they were closed.. the time was 6:54p.m.. awful experiance just becsuse we of a darker complexion and Hispanic.. we speak very well English.. i do understand why we recived that kind custmer service.. i spent $95.00 cash money u should and next time will take my money elseelsewhere
