I was asking very confusing questions but the person working there was super helpful and sweet!! I really wish I tipped them way more than I did. Not to mention everything here is super delicious and fresh.

Terrible presentation and didnt even get my order correctly. I order it ahoong style, not upside down. After i had mention that he didnt try to make the order right and just smashed the ahoong into the ice-cream and its made the ice cream overflow. Was there at 5:12PM today (6/2/21) and helped by a tall male, it wasnt even packed with customer either... Worst Somi Somi Ive been too!

Honestly soft serve cant get better than this! This is the third location, and it is still delicious with friendly quick service! The soft serve smooth and flavorful. Really great find. The employees are very generous with giving samples and very friendly. One of the employees recommended trying out the creamy mango with the ginger rosewater, its a very good combination, try it next time!

Ode to an Ah-Boong...The Ah-Boong may just be one of the best desserts anywhere! They take a golden, crispy, fish-shaped waffle cone and slather custard (or any filling you want) on the inside. Then they swirl soft serve ice cream in the cone. You can even have powdered matcha sprinkled on top and a macaron stuffed on the side. The ice cream is so smooth and the flavor really comes through. The custard is gooey while the waffle is crispy.

Excellent soft serve ice cream. I enjoyed the variety of flavors, toppings and fish-shapped cone. You can get the soft serve in the cone or the soft serve in a cup with the fish-shapped cone on top.

Delicious soft serve given in fish shaped waffle cones that are lined with interesting flavors. I had matcha in a nutella lined cone. It was delicious. Warning: it gets messy quick

While sitting on a bench across from Somisomi in the Glendale Galleria, I asked a young man how he rated his choice from 1 to 5. He gave it a 4. He also mentioned that Somisomi in the San Francisco area has much longer lines. Im trying to lose weight, so I can only rate the appearance of the place.

Nice ice cream a little pricey

My friend and I stumbled on Somi Somi accidentally at the mall. I’ve always wanted to try taiyaki before and can’t believe I stumbled on this place before we left LA. I got milk flavor soft serve and custard in the middle, topped with fruity pebbles and a strawberries. I believe toppings were included which was very nice. I was a little hesitant about the milk flavored soft serve but this was awesome. It kinda taste like a combination of sweeten condense milk and whipped cream, but not overly sweet. Even my friend that’s a picky eater liked it and wanted some just a few days ago. Too bad we live out of state or I would come here all the time.

Their fish cake taste good and not overly sweet and $8 for 5 peices is pretty good deal consider they are made freshly right on the spot.
