This a great stop for a light treat. There are so many flavors to chose from. Their specialties are awesome. They only do drive thru. However they are closed for a short period during winter. Very well priced and huge portions. Service is great and practice all covid protocols. Quick service and plenty of spots to park and enjoy your snack. I highly recommend this place.

I cant believe I never stopped in here before😟I finally went in yesterday afternoon for the very first time, not only is this place so clean, the ladies working there are so sweet, professional and get your orders quickly. I had a large Pina coladalada and let me tell you🤯mind blown lol delicious. My new addiction for sure. I havent been able to enjoy treats like this in awhile since my chemo had changed my taste buds, but now Im in remission and able to enjoy these wonderful delights. Thank you. Awesome flavors and just right for hot weather days like it is here in Arizona

I go to this place 2 or 3 times a week, at least 2 sometimes 3.I believe in the 3 strike rule and there already on strike number 2 in my last 2 visits.Last time they gave me my snowcup it was already melting like very melty I dont know how it melts from wherever they make it to 10 Feet outside the drive-through but I should Had said something i didnt.The latest thing which happened tonight for whatever reason they close that 8 tonight instead of 9. I understand that sometimes that happens it I did not have my phone on me it was still light out it just turning dark I didnt have any idea what time it was I just had a Craven (you know when you crave something really bad) and There was a car ahead of me. I pull up behind it and they come right out give the car their thing come up to me oh Im sorry but we closed at 8 tonight and like I said Im there 2-3 times a week, Im a regular customer I had no idea what time it was Im thinking maybe its quarter after 8:10 what ever Ill live 5 minutes sometimes 4 depending on traffic from there. I get home its 8:06! Are you kidding me? you couldnt make another one you closed early that you dont usually close at 8 but really? a regular customer pulls up and youre still serving someone ahead of me but its had to be 8 oclock or 8:01 when Im pulled in there, maybe even 7:59 and you closing an hour earlier and you dont want to make another 1?Whatever happened a customer service?

The bomb baby the best snow cones in the world got to have them you will not regret going and buying them just do not buy the large itll give you brain freeze its pretty good size but they have more flavors and you could guess.

My family was out riding bikes when my kids asked to get snow cones. We have been going here since they opened. We decided to ride our bikes there. Upon arrival we walked in and they refused to serve us since we did not have masks. We didn’t plan to get snow cones when we left and don’t carry masks on us or our bikes. There is no mandatory mask mandated anymore in Arizona. I have been here before with out masks with out an issue. Very upsetting for my 6, 5, and 2 year old kids. But we made it up to them by taking them for ice cream at Brusters ice cream no masks required, which will now be my family’s regular cool treat destination. I can understand if there was governors orders or even masks recommended but if businesses will require mask with no mandate money will be spent elsewhere.

I was honestly disappointed this time around. I usually love this place and come her often with friends. But today, I ordered the mangoada, and it tasted horrible. the worst part was that the stick they put in it tasted stale, and I ended up throwing it out.

This place has THE BEST snocones! Theres so many flavors to choose from and its reasonably priced. What I like the most is that I can use this place as the family special treat. This way Im certain that my kids will do their chores.

I found this place one afternoon after the Water n Ice I went to stopped selling snowcones. I saw good reviews for Tropical Sno, so I drove over. And it was amazing. The snowcones alone are delicious, but beyond that, the service here is superb and it has a drive-through! Would highly recommend to anyone craving a cold, delicious dessert

Neighborhood snow cone stop. Lots of flavor options and add ons. They do soda and ice cream too. Very happy to have a tropical sno close to home. Best shaved ice ever. This location has a drive thru making it extra convenient.

Reasonably priced too, plus if you use your stamp card, you can eventually get one for free! A delightful treat to help cool you down! Very disappointed! They claim to have sugar free options yet when I just went there they are out. I understand the sugar paying customers are more important but thats not cool to leave the rest of us hanging. Might try one more time this waa my second visit and I left empty handed.

Tropical sno has the best sno cones I think ive ever had. The staff is really nice even when theyre super busy. My kids love it here. I cant drive by without them begging me to stop

I love that this is a permanent spot for this company! They were training 2 kids today and still managed a out 10 orders in a timely manner. I brought it home about 10 minutes away and it was still in great shape and just as good.

Theyre are so many ways to customize your order and they even have ice cream if youre not in the mood for a snow cone. Hawaiian style comes with vanilla cream and vanilla ice cream; however, they also have banana cream and coconut cream. The cream is not dairy free!

I’m new to Arizona I’m a private chef. I couldn’t believe I found a snow cone shop. My daughter and I love snow cones back in Texas but it’s been years since I had one with the correct consistency. I’m obsessed. The best thing is how thoughtful they are with the cone sleeve. Also the cool spoon that changes colors. Price is perfect as well. I love tropical sno! ❤️ ~Chef Falan

Great selection of flavors. They also offer light version of many flavors which has far fewer calories, but it has sugar alcohols so be wary if you have a sensitivity. Overall great authentic shave ice.

Everything looked so good and we were happy to a cold, sweet treat. However, when we saw the person ahead of us being served by an employee who wasnt wearing a mask, we changed our minds and drove on. Restaurants would probably get more business if everyone in the place wore a face mask. Maybe well try again at some future date . . . because the treats really did look good.

Amazing every time! I recently found this place and it was soooooooooo good! They have a cute drive thru on the side so you dont have to leave the car. Great prices I never paid more than 4$ for a large and when they do large its like those Big Gulp sodas almost you get a ton and so many flavors! Tons! I will be back.

Been here twice in a week, first time the drive thru took forever but there were 6 cars in line. Second time was much faster. Snow cones were super delicious both times, just gotta avoid the rush

Recently moved from out of state to Arizona. Decided to try Tropical Sno being that I love sno cones. They did not disappoint. I was very pleased as I got banana and black cherry flavors with vanilla cream on top as I did in Maryland. Very friendly people as well. Thank you. Our first visit here at Tropical Sno was awesome. This was a random stop for me and my husband and we were not disappointed! It is the perfect snack for a HOT summer day, especially here in Arizona. The girl working was very nice and super helpful with suggestions (since there are a TON of flavors and combos). My only complaint is that I added vanilla ice cream to my snow cone but it was added to my husbands instead :( it made his really tasty, but I definitely missed it in mine. In the end, we would definitely come back to try different flavors :)

We showed up with 15 minutes to go until closing time and the staff was still super friendly and helpful. The shaved ice is good and the store is clean, but the awesome employees really made a great impression. Thank you! (Next time I promise not to show up when youre so close to being able to leave!)

I’ve been going here since it opened and have never had a bad experience. I’m an Ice fanatic and they have the best crushed ice in the west valley. They have SO many flavors and the flavors don’t taste artificial to me like many places do. Make sure to get a stamp card because this place is addicting 🤙🏼

So cool concept, just not my thing, but that is not why I am taking away a star... A/C was on the fritz or something, because it was far too hot inside, especially for a frozen dessert place... My snow cone or whatever you want to call is was melting before I could get it down... Everything else was awesome, helpful polite staff, cool dessert option... Will probably give it one more try.

I flavors are almost endless and much more delicious than I initially thought they would be. It is kind of expensive, but the color changing spoons and amount you are served, I think its worth it. I know my boys love it.

I normally dont leave reviews. As someone who works in customer service and regularly gets rated on it I know how detrimental they can be when they are not good. We have gone to this establishment several times and Have always had a good experience until tonight. After taking my kids to uptown jungle we were driving by and decided to stop. The lights were on and there was no hours of operation posted that I could see and the door was unlocked so we walked right in. The kids started picking out their flavors and we stood there for 2 to 3 minutes well a young girl who work there Sat on her phone standing against the counter. Finally a young man walked up and said sorry we are closed. I thought this was very odd due To the door not being on locked. Typically that is the 1st thing that is done when the store closes. I then went and looked up the store on Google to see their hours of operation because they were not posted on the door and sure enough it was closed. I did not expect them to serve me Past closing because I understand everyone wants to get home but it was definitely a let down that we were allowed to walk in and start picking out our flavors while someone stood there and it took someone else walking up minutes later to tell us. It might not be the best idea to happy young teenagers closing the store by themselves.

I had the BEST experience here last week.The teenager working proved to be a very kind human being in addition to a hard worker. I went in with my two small children. My son has special needs and got hurt. She helped with distraction, and gave each of them an umbrella for their sno cones, as well as helping this frazzled mama get seated and everything else she needed. I apologized for the mess my son made and she said that I had nothing to be sorry for and happily cleaned it up. She also said Youve got this mama. I cant tell you how I needed to hear that. You see, my son is loud (although nonverbal) People stare. People are rude. I felt eyes all on me that day. She helped me feel like it really would be okay. Sometimes its the little things that make a big difference for someone.I found out her name was Lexi so I wanted to give her a shout out because she didnt have to do what she did. I found her heart so refreshing especially for a teen working during a rush. She needs to know how what she said (and did) helped a really tired and struggling mama.

Okay folks! Now that its a 110 plus in the Arizona Sun this is a much welcome cool (pun intended) place to relax and enjoy what we used to call a snow cone in three different sizes with flavors that are out-of-this-world yummy! You definitely wont want to miss this summer winter spring or fall!♡♡♡

I ordered a snow cone from them through GRUB HUB and when it was delivered it was all OPENED and EXPOSED!! 😐. No protective cover or top for the cup. Why??? Did they not think that through for delivery orders?? Or pickup??

Store needs to update their hours, drove 12 miles to find they closed early with no notice! Very poor business model.

This is my familys favorite hang out. They even have a drive thru! They seem to run out of the vanilla cream topping a lot, so other than ordering more no other suggestions here.

Waited for what seemed like a long time at the drive thru. Had to pull around and go inside to get service. They said they didnt know we were there. Then didnt get all the flavors ordered. Not that great this time.

If you cant find a flavor or combination that you like, then it doesnt exist. Way better than Water & Ice.
