This place is legit. Its very difficult to find authentic Cuban markets (and cuban food!) in L.A. Im Cuban and was raised in Miami where there are Cuban restaurants and markets everywhere. This place makes me feel at home. Great selection and many items you can only find here. Staff is friendly and knows their stuff. 5 stars!

Everything about this market is perfect! I absolutely love it. Not many Cuban markets left in Glendale or around LA even. I recommend it here, PLUS the employees are great.

If you want a place where you can buy just about any Cuban food product this is the place.HOWEVER, beware!! This place uses that very ancient system of charging. The put a very flimsy little sticker on the products with the price of the item. When the cashier begins to charge you, they add cents and even dollars to the item. For example an item has that little sticker for $2.49 but the cashiers types in, very fast mind you, $2.99. On a large purchase, this adds up to dollars in total. If they notice that you are trusting and not even paying attention, like me, they really stick it to you...!Just now I arrived home from a purchase with them, wondering why my bill was so high. Every time I go there my bill is way higher than I guesstimated. I mean way higher. Finally I became suspicious, something that I never do. I checked my itemized bill against all the products purchased. And indeed...! They had over charged me $12.53, using the very method I explained above. And I guess this dude at the register really saw me gullible, because he rang up an item for $7.99. The highest price item I purchased was suppose to be only $5.49.Also, watch out with the expiration dates, especially items in the freezer. Like the croquettas, just about all of them have no expiration date. This is a major violation with the U.S. Department of Health. Always reach for items in the very back of the freezer.I highly recommend when you go buy there, bring a calculator with you. And as you put items in your cart, add them up. If an item does not have a price on it, ask! Dont trust them! Believe me, these type of people have a history in Cuba... and is not a good one. They are shady crooks!

Its small neighborhood market that must be doing something right because it seems its always busy so that creates a parking issue since theres no enough spaces. You can find some produce at really bargain prices but some others seem to be excessively mark up.

All cuban products that you need you can buy here, from Spain too. But store is small and too crowded. But worth it since its the best selection of Cuban and Spanish commodities youll fiend in one place.

Really good Latin market. It has been there for years. Always carrying treats from a lot of different south American countries.

This is about the only market left to find Cuban productsand also products from Spain, I have always found the meatto be fresh. The owner is friendly and is a pleasure to shop here.

Carne asada is why I come here. They have other great meats. I love the Yam or sweet potato candy at the 2nd register in the liquer department. Cuban food and other SPANISH fruits and veggies. Soda from many countries. The biggest avacodos.

I go to el Mambí to get my Spanish and Cuban products. They are always well stocked with all you need to make everything from a Cuban arroz con pollo to a Caldo gallego!In addition, when you get there they always greet you with a polite buenos días, buenas tardes.They make you feel welcome. Its as been in a small pueblo in Spain. This little market is a jewel of our culture, in Glendale.

Carne asada is average like any other Latino store. Service from the cashier is Very rude. She needs to remember if she does not like her job, dont take it out on her clients!! 😤 Very disappointed!!😞
