Nice place to bowl and have fun. Nachos are pretty good. It can get crowded so its best to put your name on the list and checking wait time before going!!!

It was nice to go bowling, place feels like were almost back to normal, you still have to wear your masks but its nice to have a beer and enjoy the crowd around you. Place was clean and the service was good.

It was cool until they turned off the monitors on my last frame at 102am . And I couldnt understand how the kitchen closes way before the bar. So Theyll continue to get you drunk but wont feed you 🤔

Its a nice place to bowl but the staff are very dry and unfriendly, at one point my party required assistance from one of the staff and the guy looked very tired/bothered and as I tried to explain to him what happened he wouldnt even look at me and walked away mumbling yea yea. Probably wont come again as there are many other bowling alleys in the city to enjoy.

Great little bowling alley. Prices were average for the area. Bowling alley was clean and had the 80s nostalgic feeling.Parking was a little strange, apparently it shares a lot with the neighboring police court.

This was the go to bowling place for my family and we came about a couple times a month. However, I dont think it is fair to charge 12 dollars for 5 wings and call it a pound. It was not a pound of wings, it was literally 5 wings. Also, please dont have that loud guy try to give free Vegas trips because the loudness of his mic gets annoying and we all know the place those trips come from are a known scam (Ive won, and it is). Not coming back until they fix their portions and not include a bunch of yelling Djs who claim to be giving free stuff. FOOD IS OVERPRICED AND PORTIONS ARE FALSE; THE MENU IS LYING AS I DID NOT RECIEVE A POUND OF WINGS.

Such a fun place to come with friends and family. Eat good food, bowl on good lanes, shot some pool, play some video games, have a drink. We got a Groupon and had a blast!

First time bowling in about 2 years.Games are $6.00 per person, shoesAre 4.50.I had a Coors Light, it was $6.00.Food is available but a little pricey for me.I played 2 games, scored 127 on second one.They do have league lanes at $35.00.

This was our familys first time here and we had a blast. They have 25 lanes an arcade pool tables a bar&grill restaurant,what more can you ask for. Now we didnt eat we only had a few drinks but let me tell you the food did look and smell good lol. The restroom where clean and they had a diaper changing station. 🙌 The service was nice and friendly. I noticed they have specials on different days which is always good. I think my girls will definitely be wanting to come back. The packing is a bit on the small side only down fall.

Made a reservation to bowl here. Person at the front desk was nice, but took her time acknowledging us standing at the counter. We were charged $40 an hour because we reserved a lane. Found out if you dont reserve a lane, its only $30 an hour. Bit of slow service to order food at the lane, but it was good when it arrived. They dont allow any outside food or drink. All in all, we did have a good time.

There is parking adjacent but also paid parking nearby. The space is big and bowling is pretty inexpensive. Alot of groups visit. I have seen alot of school groups here and young children parties. The appetizers are good. Thiss not that expensive.

This place has gone downhill quick. I used to come every Monday for the $10 all night bowling but for some reason their management has decided to make up rules and say that their is a two hour limit, when their website and Instagram advertise “unlimited”. Wouldn’t mind the 2 hour limit if it wasn’t for the douche manager guy. Do yourself a favor and go to matador bowl in northridge instead they have a better deal on Mondays anyways. I tried calling their corporate but couldn’t find any number on their website, oh well. Update: gave them a second chance still let me down, 2 stars changed to one

We go here for fun and also for birthday parties. We were happily surprised by the lighting effects when we went for a party in January. Made it more fun. Have also used the pro shop to have holes drilled in our balls, he did an excellent job. He recommended we not put holes in our daughters ball yet (shes 6) and we appreciated that. We like how you can pay by number of games or number of hours for regular play. We wish we could play by number of games when we reserve lanes too though. The food is also really good.

I went here on Valentines Day, and it was a great date. Since then, Ive been back twice for friend gatherings to bowl and shoot pool. Busy but never too crowded. You can get a lane without a reservation. Its a chill night out without a lot of fuss.

Jewel City Bowl quickly became my favorite place to hang out at. The staff are beyond nice and the food (wings, quesadilla, regular fries and garlic fries) is delicious!!! If youre easy going and know that there might be a wait or that sometimes things just happen, youll enjoy this place ❤️

I come in for the Monday specials. Keep in mind that they advertise UNLIMITED bowling from 9-12pm on Monday (keyword is UNLIMITED)Apparently that means there is a 2 hour limit for unlimited bowling, I get there with a group of friends and at 10:45 we get a 15 minute warning saying our game will end.I did not know UNLIMITED bowling meant you could only bowl for 2 hours, thy should honor their specials they advertise

A fun place for sure. Its usually very easy to get a lane for open bowling. You can pay by paying for one hour or pay by game. I also liked that their prices are listed on their website. If you dont have your own bowling shoes you cant re t theirs at $4. Lots of parking in their own parking lot. Customer service each time I have been their has been excellent and this business is very clean

This is my local bowling alley. Super fond of it. My lady and I periodically come in here to play a Jurassic Park video game. We load up on tokens and we finish that game from start to finish. Theres a bunch of pretty squeaky clean teenagers knocking down pins relentlessly and throwing gutter balls with abandon to loud tunes. Its family friendly, and affordable. Good times, good vibes.

You could literally go here and not bowl, like they have pool tables, drinks, and a mini arcade thats fun to work with too.Bowling itself is a fun experience and a Great group activity if you got people. They have all the equipment youll need. (Pro tip, go at 10 or later to get all the cool music and lights)

First impressions matter. When we arrived, we were greeted very poorly and unprofessionally. In fact, we werent even acknowledged. It wasnt until I offered to take my business elsewhere that this girl blurted out we have a lane. Fortunately, both manager and owner were on site. After explaining what happened, not only did they apologize but went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Kudos to management for caring about their customers. I will definitely return!

My husband and I have been coming to this place since the reopening and theyre bowling service is great. The bar used to be pleasant. However, last couple of times we went they now have this lady with black hair and shes kinda rude . Her style seems like she is used to dive bar style and rythm. It makes one wonder if shes so agressive because she maybe used to work at a bikers bar and she had to be on the standoffish side. Who knows. Just my impression. She doesnt seem to be used to dealing with people and ordering food. Customers seemed afraid to approach her because of her attitude and demeanor. The guys seemed more approachable and friendly; from a customer service point of view. She never approached any customer with a smile. And we sat there for a while. She didnt look happy to work there ☹️.P.S. she looked more like someone who was doing community service and not getting paid to do the job 😡

To make it even better, on holidays Jewel City Bowl offers discounted rates.Ive been here with my family on Thanksgiving and on Christmas. Thanksgiving wasnt crowded and there was only 2 other families there. On Christmas, all the lanes were filled and we had to wait about 10 minutes before 2 lanes opened.The staff has always been really friendly and helpful, especially if there was something wrong with our lane. The drinks are cheap compared to the prices at clubs. The finger foods they offer are pretty tasty, but Ive only tried the chicken tenders, fries, and wings. Overall, this bowling alley is a great place to have fun with the family.

As Family friendly as possible bowling spot in Glendale. Had so much fun with my daughter, while waiting in line we went and played arcade games. Also noticed they have a bowling store shop as well, selling professional bowling equipment.

I wanted to love this alley, their lanes are well kept seems like all the times I have been here, the lanes have had a good amount of oil on them so I have been able to use my good balls, and their pro shop is good too, but one of their employees is just rude and 8 think he was the manager which is such a shame. He was just so mono tone and does not know how to speak to people, i wont be coming back I did not feel welcomed.

DJ/Music was too loud, pizza is the worst Ive ever had in my life. The wings are good though. Fun times overall but bring ear plugs.

Had a blast!!! Went there Thursday night with a group of 10+, rented 2 lanes, got drinks, food, etc. we all had a great time!! They had a DJ there who made the night even more fun, the manager was really cool I believe his name was King, he was king of the lanes. They do giveaways and competitions on Thursday nights so we got involved, challenged the DJ and the manager and some other workers, won some free games and vegas hotel vouchers. Highly recommend this place, only thing I would suggest is calling them to find out if they have a tournament or something going on before going, otherwise if they do you wont be able to play until they are done. King!!! Im taking you to Vegas with me man, youre coming!

I have been to all of the bowling alleys from Studio City, Burbank, to Glendale, and Jewel City Bowl is without a doubt the piece of gold in the haystack. I love this place. The customer service is excellent. The bowling lanes are fantastic, the parking is good. Jewel City Bowl was clean. They serve food and there is also an archade area for the kids. I took three 11 year olds to this bowling place and they loved it as well. We will be back for sure.

Awesome ambiance, delicious food, decent crowds, affordable fun all around. Of course the bar is expensive, but worth the expensive for a good wholesome night out with friends and family. Not bad for solo novice bowlers out for practice or pro type ace shooters developing new styles to gain more strikes. Definitely bring your families!

Been a while since Ive been here. The price gave seem to gone up a bit but that is no biggie. This place is still one of my favorite because I started out bowling here.

We came and put our name in. They said it would be a 30-40 minute wait, so we went out to grab a quick bite to eat. When we came back 30 minutes later, they had told us that our name was called while we were gone so we would have to put our name back on the waiting list. Thats completely understandable, and they said it would be another 10 minute wait. After waiting for 20 minutes they told us it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait again. The whole time with 12 open lanes. So all in all it took 45 minutes for our 15 minute wait after we got back. I would not recommend this place.Upon a second visit I was told we would have a hour wait. After an hour I asked for a new time estimate and I was told my name was not on the waiting list and my name had already been called. My name was not called and I did not receive a text message as instructed.

Very well taken care of bowling alley! Went on a Saturday night and was able to walk in and play! The lanes are well oiled and the atmosphere is very inviting.

The lanes are decent, they always have a good amount of oil on them, but the staff here is just plain bad. They are not very welcoming and they always try to charge you the regular price instead of the special if they are having one. Their bar food is actually good but their drink menu is a little limited.There is better bowling alleys in the area, don’t think I’ll be coming back

Jewel City Bowl is the dive bar of bowling alleys. A fairly popular local spot that has everything you need. They have a full bar and weekly bowling specials with a pool table and mini arcade. Not the nicest bowling alley, but it satisfies all my bowling needs.

The service is good ONLY during the night. I was here with friends during the day. The so called Bartender African American woman, has a such a bad attitude. She has a chip on her shoulder. It is NOT the customers fault, that she chose this as her career. We are paying customers and expect to be treated with respect. She is NOT courteous or friendly. She argues with customers and acts like she is doing us a favor. I would excuse her if she was young, but this woman is well into her 50s. She has no excuse in treating paying customers like this. She is bringing your business down! She also, makes horrible cocktails.

Good service. Hard working, attentive staff who deal w all kinds of semi intoxicated patrons. Just my 1st visit but it was a fun night. Pizza tastes like frozen store bought, worse than DiGiornos. Chix wings were tasty and crunchy. My gf bowled into the pin rack gate twice but the staff didnt yell at us so thanks for that. I know I couldnt keep my head cool with all that chaos.

This bowling alley has really good food. I have had their fries here they are soooooo good & veggies (celery and carrots). The bowling alley staff are pleasant. There are more than 20+ lanes.

We have had fun there, but the last couple times we made reservations and still had to wait 2 hours (we ended up leaving while the rest of our group stayed) because we had kids and it was late. 3 lanes were empty while we sat there because another group had not shown up for their reservation! Needless to say we were not happy at all.

Went for a kids birthday party and the staff was super energized and did a great job moving the kids between activities and keeping them entertained. There were about 3 or 4 other parties also happening on a Saturday afternoon. The facility had the usual computerized score keeping and rails plus ramps for the kids.

We had a small group on Saturday afternoon, one of their busiest time, but we NEVER felt ignored.The one thing we would do differently is to place the food order as soon as we get there, prior to the lane reserve time.For a birthday party, I would recommend to 1) reserve your lanes online two weeks prior, 2) ask your guests to arrive 15 min prior to get shoes and drinks 3) estimate how much food you need to order beforehand. Their website is solid, so I knew what to order for my group from the menu.We have been to many bowling alleys before (how nerdy ...) but I must say their staff was the most helpful and attentive.Support independent old school business! And surround yourselves with happy people.

I bowl league here Monday and Wednesday nights. Leagues here are great. Very competitive and friendly. The staff is great and the food is surprisingly good. Not something you expect at a bowling alley.
