One of our first 90-degree days and I had no cold air! Stopped by Sunburst without an appointment and they offered to work me in right away! Offered to also do oil change as long as I was there. Idk.. but he played off the fact that most women dont know a lot about how their cars work. Im a woman, and yeah, I dont know much past an oil change, how to check my oil, and how to change a tire, but this man was DRAMATIC about what was Wrong with my car.Luna AZ dude, let call him Freddy, told me my water pump was leaking, my compressor was going bad, and the cap to my coolant reservoir was cracked. $1000-$1200 he quoted me.AJ called my husband after he checked Freddys work, and my radiator cap was cracked, spraying fluid onto my engine.All day, will I choose Sunburst Automotive. That morning my oil sending unit went out. I knew it was it and I did not want to do the work myself. I first contacted another shop off of 59th av and Greenway, my mistake. They wanted to do extra work that was not needed to change out the oil sending unit. So I contacted Sunburst and they did the work without hassle of wanting to change out something else. So by going to Sunburst I saved over 300 dollars . Excellent work and no hassles at all. I highly recommend them for any auto work.

Very friendly and professional. I thought there was a suspension issue with car. They drove and lifted it and said it was fine. They even put oil in it . How often does a shop tell you everything is ok? I plan to use them for all my auto needs and will recommend them to my friends and family.

My parents have used sunburst Auto services for years. They do an excellent job with their work. OTHER mechanics they have gone to would tell my parents that they need this and this and this done. OTHER mechanics would make up problems the car had. Brought the car to sunburst Auto and they told us that the car only needed something small (which was a LOT different than what the OTHER mechanics would tell us). Very truthful and trusting in their ways. Might be a little more expensive but its 1,000% guaranteed work and you never have to worry about letting them handle your vehicle. I always tell people I know to go to their shop for the honestly awesome service they provide.

Honest. Superb Quality. Honest. Honest. Honest.Capiche?Regarding the negative reviews, people are entitled to their opinion but lets break down the complaints. The complaints seem to be about price, which is a subjective argument, and one based on experience and expectations. Sunburst uses factory parts to replace broken parts. Reason? Factory parts are higher quality. The reason your AC lasted 10 years is because it had a factory quality part. Replace it with a cheap after market part, and you will replace it more often. Regarding labor, they charge half of dealer labor charges. This is fair market pricing.Finally, a little advice on car repairs. Get quality parts, and pay a good mechanic whatever he wants to charge to do the work. Sunburst has easily saved me more money than I have every paid in labor charges. I take my cars in several times a year, they inspect the entire car and let me know what repairs are vital, and what repairs are safe to procrastinate. This has saved me thousands over the years.

These guys won’t cheap you out of money or do things that don’t need to be done. I asked about how much putting on shocks would be considering I had them and he told me I’d be good for another thousand or so miles. These guys know what they’re taking about.

Love these guys. Family run and they are straight shooters. They wont b.s. you. When they think your car is going to continue costing you big bucks they will be honest and tell you it might be time for another vehicle. They wont keep milking you in repairs. Plus they are totally fine with you bringing your own parts in and they will put them on, saving you quite a bit if you can find the part cheaper elsewhere.

I want to say this place has your back I had a ac issue with my 2016 suburban sun burst found the ac condenser was leaking found it was under warranty with the dealer dint ask for any money and sent me to the dealer....... Now for my experience with arrowhead chevy is worse they broke a shrader valve and wanted to charge me $300 for the repair so I called sunburst back they said it was no leaking from them. So Aj from sunburst let me three way call them and talk to the service manger Mark and ask how much they wear going to charge me to fix it mark said $300 and Aj said wow thats excessive for that I hung up with both and called sunburst back talked to Aj $148 to fix it so needless to say Im taking it back to professionals to replace it thanks Aj you are a life saver

The staff is very helpful, trustworthy, and reasonable. I highly recommend them! I took my dads truck there last week for some repairs and was amazed by the service provided. This was our 3rd visit to their shop within a couple of years and we have not had one negative experience - which is rare to find in an automotive repair shop!

These guys are the best. Super nice - Super knowledgeable - and very reasonably priced. If youve ever had a bad experience with auto mechanics, give these folks a try - you will not be disappointed. I took my car to the Midas repair shop at 67th and Peoria and they were rude, didnt do the work I authorized, wouldnt bring my car back to me (I had to take the bus and walk) and then acted as though I was being unreasonable when i asked for my keys. I then took it to Sunburst - they brought me to work when I dropped it off, they picked me up when it was done, they completed the work in the time they said they would, for the price they quoted me, and they smiled and were polite the entire time. Oh, and they were several hundred dollars less expensive than Midas. These guys flat out ROCK!

Professional work for a reasonable price. I dont mind paying for a mechanic so long as I dont have to come back for the same problem 6 months down the road. When my front passenger side bearings started to go bad 3+ years ago they fixed my truck up and its been rolling smooth ever since. Just took my truck in 3 days ago for an oil leak, A/C leak, a busted blinker relay, and a 4×4 issue. They gave me a quote before starting any work and were very honest with me with what I could fix myself if I was interested in saving the money. Instead of taking me to the bank for a new automatic 4×4 system they advised me to install my own manual locking hubs which turns out is super simple and much more affordable. So thank you sunburst automotive for your honesty and professional repairs, you are my preferred mechanic shop and I will definitely come back when/if needed.

SHOP AROUND BEFORE YOU GO HERE! I called them today for a price on a blower motor and a resistor replacement for a 99 Malibu v6. I was quoted $397.82 lol. Even Midas who normally rips me off quoted me 189.99. The blower motor is a $35.00 part and the resistor is about $25.00. He told me the breakdown was $217.82 for parts and $180.00 for labor. Talk about markup on parts! Not to mention $180.00 for labor for something that takes an hour?

WAY over pricesd.....look around.
