I found Boris through a friend. This was a big repair, so I really needed someone that knew what they were doing.Boris is a great mechanic and knew exactly what I needed and did a very good job. It was done much faster than expected (shops told me they’d need a week), but he had it done by the second day.He also recommended I replace some smaller parts that could end up causing costly repairs down the road. I obliged, and when i came to pick up the car he had all the defective parts laid out and explained exactly what could have gone wrong and create bigger repairs. He also gave me a choice of what type of parts (OEM vs. aftermarket) and gave his reasoning why one might perform better than another.I’ve never had a shop take that much care to explain why spending a little extra on a smaller fix now could help save hundreds-if not thousands- in the future.I’m going to Boris from now on because finally I feel that my cars are in good hands.

We needed to do a full car inspection and two close friends recommended us to go to see Boris.It was the right choice.He did a super complete inspection of the car for less than $100 and gave us a detailed report of what was inspected and what issues were found. It turned out that air and cabin filter needed to be replaced. But instead of just going ahead without asking, not only he asked but he also recommended to take first the car to the dealer and see if they could do it in order to avoid us extra cost!I mean, we are talking about around $60 for filters+labor. It is not a lot of money when talking about car maintenance costs. And he could have done it and get the money. But no, he give us an alternative that may cost us nothing if dealer agree to do the work. Such an honest person!And this is not the end of the story. A few days later we had an issue with the airbag light after we did a car wash detailing so we asked for his help. They (because there is also a second gentleman in the car shop) checked the error, quickly fixed the issue and erased the code. You know how much they charged us? NOTHING!I totally recommend taking your car there from now on. You will not regret it!

Most honest mechanic you can go to! What mechanic basically tells you to not fix your car, that its too far gone and to make plans to get a new car. He opened the hood and walked me step by step why it would cost a fortune to get anything fixed. Showing me where the issues were and it was so clear why it wasnt worth it.Boris and his brother are super nice, I never felt like I was talked down to and I was treated with respect. When Boris was telling me about my car, I felt comfortable to ask questions, he showed diagrams, it was almost like a mini class session.Ill be going to this auto-shop from here on out.
