I recently needed to purchase some parts for my GMC truck. When I got to this Napa store I talked with Alonso and he was very knowledgeable professional and he quickly found the parts that I needed. Its very refreshing to find a auto parts store with a knowledgeable courteous person that has very good customer service skills. Have a bad battery that is less than a year old. It clearly states that its a Napa battery as well as its the best battery they sell. Because I didn’t have my original receipt the lady said it’s at her discretion and she made the decision not to warranty it out. Poor poor customer service. Well that’s ok I’ll never shop here again thanks to her discretion. If your too stupid to see that it’s not even a year old then prob not smart enough to help with anything else. Just glad I learned this now since I just opened my shop up and cancelled any and all dealings with Napa. Sure I’m only one person. But I have many clients and will put a sign up in my shop to not go to Napa cause they won’t warranty their own products. Smh

This location on 51st and bell is my favorite. They are always ready to help and so friendly. Marc the assistant manager, he is really awesome and helped me very quickly. Mark from this location on 51st Avenue and bell rd was very very helpful and patient with finding the correct hydraulics to fix my camper shell doors. He ordered the parts and had them to the store within an hour or ordering and also helped me install them on my vehicle. Very helpful and good knowledge of the stores inventory! Great job mark!!

Had a fan clutch go out on my car. Bought a replacement from this location and have had to replace the new part 3 times. Each clutch has been bad. 2 of them were bad right out the box, fan clutch was locked up and making a squeal like a bad bearing. The other lasted a few months but ended up doing the same thing. Had to fight the store to get a warranty replacement, pulled up the account and found my purchase and said that wasnt my purchase and they wouldnt warranty it. Fought with them and got a replacement and of course another bad clutch. So now I have to pull it off yet again and replace it. Maybe the forth one will work correctly

Poor experience. Called to see if my car battery was sold there. Was told yes and had them in stock. Went to the store; not only do they not have them in stock they dont sell them. Wasted my time. Plus you would think they would make sure to give accurate information.

This is a privately owned store that used to be corporately owned.Ive purchased thousands of dollars of parts over a many years for our customers from this store ,Since the private take over of the store they have refused to honor there warranty on the parts we purchased , leaving us to cover the costs of repurchasing those parts from other vendors .Poor customer service and questionable warranty policy, when the issue occurred they said they would make a call and get it worked out . instead i had to call them back several hours later to be told that they would not cover there warranty , the whole time the customer was waiting in my lobby all day ,

This Napa location sucks. Go to the one on 19th Ave north of Deer Valley Rd if you must go to Napa.....their service seems fine.I had bought a Napa Legend battery (top of the line) at this location on 51st ave 16 months ago. It came with a 18 month free replacement warranty (many places like Costco now give a 36 month free replacement). The battery was failing and would not hold a charge. I took it to the store on last Friday 9-29-17 and the guy behind the counter tested and claimed it was good, but unlike other stores, stood behind the counter where I could not watch the test. I have a much more sophisticated electronic tester and it had tested bad for me. So I said ok, and took it home and reinstalled it in my truck, believing his test was invalid. So now I started carrying my jump pack because I knew it would soon fail. Sure enough, a few days later I parked at Target to shop and came out and it would not crank the engine. Nothing. I jumped it and drove straight back to this Napa, and after waiting around about 10 minutes while one guy worked one customer at the counter and about 4 other guys walking all over, ignoring me, a guy finally asked what I want. Told him I need my battery tested. He came out and tested it, again like before trying to prevent me from watching the test by standing to block my view. He tested and tested and of course it kept failing. Then he wanted me to turn on the headlights and back off. Tested again, still bad. He suggested I try charging it and I told him I had been charging it with a smart charger.Finally he said ok, bring it in. I took the battery out and into the store and that guy just went about his business. The guy behind the counter said the guy who tested it was going to get me a battery. I could see him walking all over doing everything but get me out a battery. After probably 10 more minutes of standing around (with no other customer in the store), the counter guy decided to go get it himself. Brought it out , and I put it in my truck.All except for the one guy at the counter, who I think got embarrassed that the other rude jackass was making me wait while he did whatever else and ignored me (how dare I bring a failed battery back and ask them to honor their warranty), these are a bunch of prima donna jerks who think they are the only parts house in town. It is very apparent in this store that customer service is the last thing on their mind. If I managed this store, I would teach the employees that if there is a customer (you remember, the people who make the business possible and provide your paycheck) in the store, he/she has priority over whatever else you were doing before the customer walked in. They dont get this.I will NEVER go this store again and I am now pretty turned off to Napa in general. But as I say, the store on way north 19th ave above Loop 101 has been very good the couple times I have gone there. Every other parts store...OReilly, Autozone, have been excellent and honest about doing a battery return for replacement or pro-rate. Not these jerks.....they resisted every step of the way by making me come back two times on a valid failed battery. The second time back, I brought my own battery tester along and had they again told me it was still good, I was going to test it on the spot in front of them, and ask them why I just had to jump start my truck if it was so good.The Napa battery warranty is poor compared to others, and this particular store will fight you (and ignore you) on a return of a failed battery. Dont waste your time with these arrogant clowns. There are better battery deals and you will be treated better elsewhere. When this replacement battery fails (hopefully longer than 16 months this time), I will never buy another Napa battery.

This has happened the last two times I was in the Napa store. The second time, today, 4-16-2013, I was the ONLY customer in the store. There were 4 employees there. The employee that greeted me, passed me onto another employee. I told him what I wanted and as he started to look it up, the phone rang.Instead of placing the caller on hold, letting one of the other three employees answer the call, or not answering the phone in the first place (let the other 3 handle it), the employee who WAS helping me, began looking up the item the caller was inquiring about.Was I not in the store with cash in my pocket, ready to buy something!!?? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WONT BE SHOPPING AT NAPA ANYMORE!!

To the NAPA Auto Parts Company. Here is a valuable suggestion, get it together. Online hours say open @ 7am on Saturdays I get to Napa, store hours say open @ 8am. Geeze! how is something like that over looked? One hour Oh no big deal well that screwed up my entire day. I barrowed a car and they needed it back by 745. Lets fix the little things.P.S. DANG!!! 51st and Bell, I went back like a true Die Hard thinking, mistakes will be made, let it go. it was a bit stressful refiguring logistics to get what I needed. I go inside and cannot locate a 35MM Socket. I ask the, manager or assistant manager?? if he could help, since the gentleman at the counter was busy. We looked and looked and no luck. What I found peculiar was there was 33, 34, & 36mm, there wasnt even a price tag for a 35mm. They didnt stock it. But what came next took the cake, he mentions I have a 35mm at home, my wife has a Toyota... Figuratively my jaw dropped. I should of called first, stupid me.

Time after time, Just the worst customer service. You walk in knowing exactly what you want, and that they sell it. I was told we dont have that and sent back out the door on numerous occasions. If your store doesnt carry an item that other Napas do, would you not at least offer to order it in?My last effort was trying to get an Emergency glad hand {air brake connector for a big truck}. Said nope and turned me right around. Knowing good and well he could have had it their for me in a day or two. I didnt need it RIGHT now.... But Oreillys did have one in stock for 5 bucks. Even though the poor kid had no clue what it was.Its like they dont want your business. Too busy selling parts out the back door {shops, dealerships etc} to worry about the front counter i suppose. I wont be back.

This location only get 3 stars dew to their main building. I had some issues with a ac relay. I called and asked if I could get it tested, the rep said to come on in and get it checked out. Upon my arrival there was this Hispanic man who was an absolute douchebag and refused to help me test the relay.
