I have NEVER had a better moving company EVER come and handle the job like 1st Class Moving Storage did. From the service Manager to the gentlemen that came out. All were absolutely professional! The gents that came out were quick, methodical and cared for every little piece to large piece like it were glass. I am Military and have been through many pack outs and can honestly say I will use these guys for every job I have in the future. Thank you 1st Class Moving Storage!

I am highly impressed with 1st Class Moving and Storage! The process started with prompt communication from my moving consultant, as well as his flexibility on our move date. On move in day, the high service and professionalism our guys showed was top star. They were quick, efficient and all items arrived safely to our new house. The only downside (which is why I gave 4 stars) was that they were a few hours late due to a prior job being larger than anticipated. However, everything else was totally worth it and I highly recommend using this service for your moving needs!

The office personnel were tops and good at communication. Their cost estimate was accurate to twenty dollars. The moving crew was friendly, accommodating, and organized. Best ever at logistics and maneuvering through tricky openings doorways with odd angles. I have recommended 1st class movers to friends and family. We tipped em generously they were that amazing. Not a single piece damaged.... they hauled our million things down four flights of stairs (old apartment bldg...no elevator!).

Calvin and his team were great. Communication was spot on from the time of the initial quote to moving day. I received a confirmation text the day prior to the move, and the movers showed up the morning of the move 15 min early. The team had me packed, moved, and unloaded in 5 hours- a 3 story townhouse. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thanks again for everything.

Miguel and his team were amazing. We were nervous about moving (who likes to move?!) and the team was fantastic and made us feel at ease the whole day. They were extremely courteous and polite and were just all around the best. The communication upfront from the office was a little slow (I know they must be swamped) but that is no reflection on Miguel. They were prompt the day of the move and so FAST. Jose and his team from 1st Class Moving and Storage were the absolute best!!! They arrived right on time, did a walk through of the house with me first, and then quickly and efficiently started carrying boxes and furniture into the truck. They disassembled some things (china cabinet, bed, crib) and all were reassembled at the new house. A few of our boxes werent quite taped up enough and they had tape ready and quickly taped things up without even questioning it. They were unbelievably quick and also incredibly careful with all of our belongings, as well as making sure not to scrape up against the walls. The price and value was great too and didnt compare to some of the other crazy quotes we were given. Once we were moved into the new house they had us walk through each of the rooms and asked if we would like any furniture moved or if any of the boxes were in the wrong spot. Again, everything was super quick and efficient, and they were all very nice and professional too. We were so pleased with the service and wpuld highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality moving company!

First Class Moving and Storage of Glen Burnie, MD and Orlando, FL HAVE NO class at all. They are the biggest bunch of crooks with which I have ever worked.We recently moved from Laurel, MD to Charleston, SC. We hired Pods.com to manually move some of our possessions and this company to move the rest. Pods.com was excellent by the way. We paid NO Class Moving and Storage half of the moving fee upfront and then we had to pay a monthly storage fee. We had to rent for eight months until the property was ready for us to move into. Our first half of the moving fee cleared without incident. We set up an auto payment from our bank account to pay the monthly storage fee. There were no incidents there either.When we finally got our closing date, we immediately informed NO Class Moving and Storage that we were ready to have them make our final delivery. We gave them over a full month’s notice. At that time they informed us that there was a 14 day window in which they would deliver and that if we wanted it on a specific day, there would be an additional charge of over $1,000.00. We were upset, but did find this clause in the fine print of their contract. They gave us a window which ended on June 3, 2021. We were told they would contact us 48 hours in advance. We received no such phone call. My wife contacted them several times and was rudely dismissed. On June 2, 2021, she called again and demanded to know if we were going to get our furniture on June 3, 2021. After much arguing, she was finally informed that we were indeed on the schedule for the 3rd of June.The morning of June 3, 2021, I received a text message saying the movers would be there within 45 minutes. When they arrived, they began to unload the truck, and within 15 minutes one of the movers approached my wife and announced that if she didn’t give them a certified check for the balance, they were going to turn the truck around and take it back to there storage facility. At such time, the clock for storage would begin again. My wife didn’t know what to do. I was at work. What was she supposed to do, leave a bunch of strangers in our home while she went to the bank? They insisted that if she didn’t get the funds, they would leave. She spoke with a supervisor, who was rude, demeaning and condescending to her. In desperation, my wife left our home in the hands of total strangers and went and got certified funds. I was appalled. I went immediately home but she was already back with the certified funds. I got on the phone and called to talk to the supervisor to express my displeasure with his/her company. I am constantly sent to voice mail and have not been able to speak with a supervisor. I am continuing to voice my displeasure with this company but am receiving no return calls from the so-called supervisor. On top of everything else we have found several damaged items and they also scratched up and dented a brand new wall. They are a horrible company.I/we are disgusted with this company and if google would let me, I would give them a negative 5 star rating!!! Think long and hard before doing business with this company. They are money grubbing jerks with no customer service at all!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. In order to get them to even respond to them breaking my TV they would only say that they have 30 days to respond and gave me attitude when I asked why and what the status was. No status and no responsibility for their actions. They even denied my claim saying I should of turned on the TV before they left. Completely unprofessional business and I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from using them.

I definitely would give the crew of 1st Class Movers 4.8! The crew was prompt, respectful and hard working. No items were damaged in our move and the crew delivered and set up in our new home with the same professionalism as when the packed up our old home. They have been great every step through the way, including getting a quote, getting the movers scheduled, and the actual move. The movers were professional, on time, and didnt complain at all! I was so nervous as I had some horrible experiences with movers in the past, and they made me feel like I had nothing to worry about, which i didnt! Contracted 1st Class Moving to help move my daughter from DC area to FL and we could not be any happier. This is the second time using them and the experience was flawless. Being the holidays the delivery window was 3 weeks but to our surprise the items arrived exactly one week later, could not ask for more. I highly recommend 1st Class Moving without hesitation.

The movers worked very hard to move our home. However, I was very disappointed that two workers did not consistently wear masks. I tried to give one a mask to wear and he pulled a gator up over his nose, then the next time I saw him it was under his nose again. It was unacceptable and made me feel unsafe, given the current pandemic.Edit: yes I’m sure I have the right company. It is under my husband’s name. We literally have the same last name. I’ve emailed you about it and have heard no response.

They were fantastic. I was referred by my parents which tells you they did a good job for them. Very unprofessional staff, unorganized and careless. I observed them working at job ezstorage Pasadena md. the blocked other peoples cars. scratched my car and wouldnt talk to me about it. parked so close they had to move my mirror. couldnt open my mirror till impulled out of the space. despite plenty spots further down. Took up all the carts. some of them sat there full for over 20 mintues

We used 1st Class to store our household items while we had a house built so it consisted of 2 moves plus a few months of storage. I liked how every item was protected all the way until it came back to our new house. I also liked the floor covering that was used considering it was a brand new house. Overall it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to refer them or use them again.

We recently used them for a local move. They came over to give a free quote which ended up being a very competitive rate in comparison to their competition. Calvin was very responsive and provided several used boxes for us to pre-pack items. The 4 guys who came to do the move were extremely hardworking. They were cautious not to damage the furniture and also ensured there were no damages to the walls, etc. they showed up at 8am and completed the entire move within 11 hours. We were charged slightly more than the earlier estimate. All in all, great experience and will definitely recommend to others.

We had an excellent experience with First Class Moving & Storage for our local move from a townhouse to a single family home. The four movers were friendly, professional and hard working. We did end up having two pieces of furniture with minor damage from the move. After I sent pictures, they arranged to pick the items up, fixed them and delivered them back to us quickly. I had to reschedule my move and had to request multiple quotes from a gentleman named Joseph who was really nice and was not at all annoyed with all my phone calls and emails.The movers were amazing! They were friendly, fast, and careful. All of my ikea furniture survived without any chips, scratches, or dents. Jose and his crew really knew what they were doing. We used 1st Class 3 years ago based on a recommendation from our realtor and they did a fantastic job. Recently we used them again for an interstate move and again they impressed us. I especially like the communication from the date I contacted them until the move date I was always in the know as far as what is going on, arrival times, delivery time, etc... I am 72 years old and have never experienced a great moving company until now. 1st Class exceeded our expectations and did everything possible to make our move as quick/easy as possible. The moving crew was great and their supervisor was excellent! They made things very easy for us. The salesman was a good guy but didnt show up for the first appointment. There was a mix up in his scheduling apparently. He was also a little slow to respond to questions after our meeting but overall we had a good experience and I would recommend this company.

1st Class was recommended to us by our Realtor who said not to call anyone but them. She was absolutely right! Their price was extremely reasonable compared to 2 other quotes we received. They were the only company that offered to come out to our house to give us a visual estimate and they were the only company that offered a guarantee on their quote. The choice was obvious and the end result was fantastic. The movers worked their tails off from morning till the job was done. They did not stop except for their 30 minute break. Our realtor was 100% right in recommending them and we will make sure we do the same thing if someone asks for a mover. We highly recommend this company any day.

We had a large house with 5 bedrooms that required 2 trucks and 5 movers and the move was completed relatively quickly. A coworker recommended 1st Class Moving to me after she used them several times. I needed items I had in storage moved into my new home. Joseph was very responsive to my inquiries and when I needed to reschedule 1.5 days before the move because of a funeral, he ensured Hassan took care of me as Joseph was out of the office. On the day of the move, Denis and his team arrived when they said they would. Denis was upbeat and smiling throughout the move even after they discovered the moving truck was too tall to get into the bay area of the building. He and his team kept up their great attitude when my oversized couch didnt fit through the Plan A door at the new place and then barely fit through the Plan B one. I had never used a moving company before this move and Ill never use another one besides 1st Class again. Top notch service all the way around!

They helped us move last week from Maryland to West Virginia and we couldnt be happier with the service. 4 bedroom house was loaded and unloaded on the same day (long day) but at least we had beds to sleep in at the end of day. 1st Class Moving was referred to me by our next door neighbor. We decided to hire them based on the feedback we received from her. 1st Class Moving gave us a written estimate for full packing and moving and they were very reasonably priced. By the time it was all done, we paid a few dollars less than the estimate, which gave us a chance to tip the movers for their hard work. Based on our experience and the experience of our neighbor I can comfortably refer 1st Class to anyone who asks. I will also let my real estate agent know since he deals with many people who are moving and might be in need of their services.

This company is horrible. The movers they hire are completely unprofessional, unapologetically, and incompetent. I literally watch one guy drop my antique cast iron cauldron, which broke one of the legs. He pushed it off his dolly and went to get more. NEVER HIRE 1st class moving and storage. It will be worse then hell.

I will never use any other company for my moving needs. These guys are professionals. They arrived on time and gave me a realistic estimate. They ended up finishing my move a little early so the amount I paid was actually LESS than what they quoted me! All of my stuff ended up safely at my new house and nothing was broken. I used 1st Class Moving Storage based on a recommendation from a Nextdoor app user. I could not be happier with the service I received. The crew showed up early in the AM and started working. All of my furniture was nicely wrapped with moving blankets and some were wrapped with plastic. Everything arrived nicely and was setup in the room I asked for. I would use and recommend this company again when I move, which will be in about a years time. The cost was slightly lower than estimate, which was nice. :-)

I used this company in April to move my son into a new apartment. The movers were wonderful! They were courteous and very helpful. They went right to work, were very careful with the furniture and boxes, and very respectful. I highly recommend the company and would definitely use them again.

I used them in Oct 2017. The move was very pleasant. The 3 gentlemen worked hard and were ready to work when they showed up. I did have a few friends helping with the light boxes just to keep things moving. They wrapped the furniture that needed it and did not dig up any walls (Even the furniture delivering the couches dinged the walls when the couch was wrapped by manufacture going to the basement. I am a Realtor and would recommend them to my clients.

I’m a little delayed in writing this review but wanted to take the time to still do it because I had an exceptional experience with this company. I moved from Baltimore to St. Louis a few months ago and was nervous to use a moving company after all of the horror stories I’ve heard. However since it was such a big move, I went with 1st class and am so glad I did. From my initial call of inquiry all the way to my stuff being delivered was smooth. Joseph helped me with all my questions (even when I emailed/called him a ton of times), the movers were polite and careful with my stuff, and they communicated with me every step of the way. If I ever move again, I plan to use this company! I highly recommend.

I should have packed breakables a lot better than I did, yet still nothing was broken. I am a very picky person with high standards. I moved from Richmond, VA to Maryland and I was concerned they could not move my whole house in a day and deliver it safely to MD. 1st Class was a recommendation from a friend so I felt fairly comfortable with them. They exceeded my expectations and were able to do it all in one day and slightly under their quote. They are super professional and I havent found any damaged items and so far, nothing is missing. I would highly recommend them. They were reasonable and far exceeded my expectations for quality.

We first used 1st Class Moving Storage in 2014 for a move from Florida to Maryland and they did a great job. We used them again recently for our local move in Baltimore and we were impressed again. Everyone on the team knew what to do and they got our house moved shortly after lunch. Im glad we found this company and now we have a mover for life!

These guys are great on the front end - the salesman got back to me very quickly on everything and provided large boxes at no extra cost. Loading the truck went fine. On the receiving end in our new state they were short several movers who did not show up for several hours. But the guys who were there really worked hard to get everything done and worked quickly and well. We did have an issue but the company took care of it for us. I would recommend them.

My mother used this company and I am warning everyone to stay away from them at all costs! They packed up her 6 level home with no issue but were 3.5 hours late to bring her belongings to her new home. Several items were missing or damaged. The staff were exceptionally rude and demanded the balance of their fee without allowing my mom to inventory her items prior to them being paid which is usual and customary. I will be seeking legal council but wanted to let potential customers know please stay away from this company.

Do not use 1st class moving services they lost several items that were left in their storage facility and they did not research the items and denied ever having the items. Their staff stole 3 new ceiling fans and the management did not research or question their employees about the theft. DO NOT EMPLOYEE THIS COMPANY.

The movers themselves were very professional, cannot complain. BUT the issue is the management. Unfortunately the movers did damage some furniture, although I believe they were trying their best not to. Talking to management and the claim process, they continued to say they would call me back and never did. This went on for over two weeks now. They also refuse to answer or respond to their own claim emails.Bottom line the good reviews come from customers lucky enough to not have damage. If you have damage, this is were the sleazy used car sales tactics come into play. I wouldnt use them again, only because I do not trust them standing behind their own insurance.

Not only did the guys call me to let me know they were on the way, they were on time and friendly. They worked quickly and even dealt with their truck quitting on them at the bottom of our house’s hill. They were respectful of our property and of our home. They misplaced the hardware for our tv stand, and actually came to replace it a few days later. Couldn’t be happier!

This is definitely a 5-Star company that I intend to use again in the near future. They are everything you want and need in a moving company.

Great company and very friendly over the phone. I had just a little more stuff than I thought, so it was a bit more than what I was planning to pay, but they were kind enough to take off the $40 charge I wasnt expecting when I spoke to the owner.

Do NOT use this company. They appeared at first to be qualified movers. We went with this company because they could store our goods in their trailers to prevent damage moving our property. The truth came upon delivery. First the trailers were outside for about three months and leaked water. Our couches and cloth chairs were water stained. A wood table was warped and not repairable. The day of delivery the driver showed up with four locals that had never moved before. They were union employees that needed to work to continue their unemployment. They had no moving skills or training. I had three friends come to help keep track of the boxes and point the movers to appropriate rooms. They were such bad workers that my fiends and myself had to start unloading the truck. I watched as several items were broken before my eyes by untrained movers. My friends had more skills than the movers. Then came the claim process. They will only allow what you listed on the BOL the day you received you goods. Irrespective of the confusion the day you receive your goods and dont have time to unpack. So when we removed the water soaked blankets from our couch and noticed the damage, it was to late to claim. When we discovered they never boxed several crystal cups, it was to late....If you do no not list every little item that was damaged on the BOL, do not expect to a claim back. I paid for full reimbursement Insurance because we had thousands of dollars in European Crystal that we wanted to have replacement value on vs depreciated value.DO NOT USE This company
