Great variety of things that you would not find anywhere else. Good quality and authentic.
I love this market! Great music playing for a delightful experience, friendly & helpful staff, and the jalapeños were plump and bountiful! Im making pickled jalapenos and they are gonna be amazing!
Friends of mine went here while I was on vacation and posted a few pictures on Facebook. I just HAD to find out for myself. Whilst waiting for my windshield to be replaced by Safelite, just down the road, I walked down and found out. First off I was greeted by a very friendly young woman who took my order. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 beef and one chicken, they were freshly prepared while I watched. Given my choice of a variety of fresh and I mean fresh toppings. The cheese looked as though it was just made. Ive had many-a-taco in my life, these hands down are THE ABSOLUTE BEST. The pictures I posted below dont do them any justice. If you NEED tacos like I NEED TACOS, then come on down here. Not only do they do carryout but its also a grocery store for all things Latino food related. I will be back and soon. Im telling you reading this, GO GET SOME TACOS from Jalapenos Market, you wont be disappointed.
This was the first time I ever experienced tamales with a bunch of little sharp chicken bones. Not just 1 or 2 bones, more like 10-15 in each. I had to throw them away because I didnt want my kids to swallow any. I was really disappointed.
Large, steaming tamales offered in two styles (at least) from Mexico & Guatemala... and they were delicious! Fresh sliced Mango, decadent Coconut Flan & washed down with Passion fruit juice. The store has many offerings (shelved & food service) that other local international stores dont. We love this place, and the prices are reasonable too!
Nice market with a big selection of authentic hispanic grocery items. Also make fresh food in house. Worth a stop by.
Great little store if you can overcome the outside environment. They have a wonderful selection of products of many different cultures and ethnicities. The fresh baked goods are some of the best in the league!
Good spot to get some groceries and limited Spanish products. I tried the torta and tamale they have and it was okay. I’d rather go to the nearby restaurants to get Spanish food. I just come here to get Spanish products and get the rest of my groceries at another store since it’s cheaper and more range of products. What I don’t like about this place is how loud the music always is.
I shop here on a regular basis. The fresh made sandwiches (tortas) are amazing. I enjoy their butcher counter too. Friendly service.
Incredible grocery store. Great prices and awesome selection. You have to go check them out. Try the lunch line you wont regret it.
I love this store and I am a regular. But today I had a horrible experience with a young butcher. I hope management reads this! The young man has to remember that he is working at Latin/Hispanic food store. Frequent shoppers may be non-English speakers and deserve to be treated with the same respect he gives to English speakers. Just because I look like a non-English speaker and speak Spanish, I dont get offended by his secondary level treatment. Additionally, cussing in English should be completely forbidden. (I was born here and I learned to speak Spanish... I do everything possible to stay close to my roots... but this guys assumptions can lead to a really bad lawsuit!)
This shop has a lot of good products, produce always fresh, a lot of Latin products and they also has a little space with Mexican and Salvadorian food to go, The beef torta is my favorite it’s amazing and huge!
Excellent and delicious food. Incredibly fresh produce and great customer service. Highly recommend this awesome market. 👍🏽👍🏽
Very kind employees. You found excellent products from other countries. The only problems is they put the music very loud and bothers the ears.
A lot of Mexican food/items
Jalapenos is amazing for anything latin grocery related. They also have a hot food counter making fresh tortas that people literally line up for.
This supermarket is so clean and well laid out. If you seek international cuisine, ground provisions or tubers, fresh vegetables or fresh cuts of meat - give this place a visit. Checkout is easy as there are registers at both front and back entrance. Clerks are friendly. Only one slight drawback, not all employees speak English, so brush up on your Spanish before you go, but don’t miss out because of that. There are great deals waiting! 😁
The items are alitle bit expensive, compared to other Latino supermarket, costumer service is not really good,I can give them 5 of 10 ,,!Its not a big international supermarket in this area,,,😏
Meat very very expensive ribeye and t bones better quality meats and are cheaper than their meat wich runs up.to 12 dollars a pound for fajita dont understand why everything is more expensive than other places and also they over work their employees with little pay
Very neat store ..organized..music made atmosphere energetic...
Everything I was looking for!! Beautiful produce, all the ingredients I was looking for ❤️❤️
Great place to find meat. Unfortunately it seem to be price a little high on other items.
Very cool, very organized and very easy to find the items that you need.
Love this place for the wide variety of Mexican food, especially as they carry all the Yucsteca varieties (including chipotle, Caribbean, and XXX). Fantastic butchers counter where you can find unusual (for the US) cuts of meat. Vamos!
Good price. Fast service. Good food.
Clean, stocked, very helpful and friendly staff!! Will definitely recommend it!!
Best prices on mexican food and merchandise than any other mexican store in Delmarva
Hot every thing we were looking for
No good experience for costumers service
This was my first time going to Jalapeños and it was nice. Only thing is the peppers needs to be labeled as to which kind they are.
Theres a lot of Latino products in this market if youre looking for original Latino/Hispanic products this is the place to go 👍👍👍👍😉
Good Variety Of Latin products from different countries like Mexico, Argentina etc.
Very lil English spoken ...very friendly and carlotta of good food and nice price (deli&fastfoods)
Good fresh vegetables, chicken, beef and fish. They have a little kitchen inside were they serve tacos, tamales, tortas and other mexican foods.
Really nice and small market. But a lot stuff to offert from differents countys. Not to expensive. Friendly staff highly recommended
If you want to make tacos at home get it all from here
Quality food and groceries. All prices are reasonable or cheaper than big chain stores
Big variety.
Very clean for an international market. I will definitely be shopping here again. The worker was very friendly and help me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately at the time of check the cashier was very unfriendly and had an attitude.
This is the best place for everything Spanish an the meats here are great plus the service is wonderful
Very good
My go too place for Latino supermarket.. They have everything stop by check it out and dont to wear your mask
My favorite Latino market for EVERYTHING Spanish?
Great items you cant find at any of the superstores. Plus the most primo fresh meat Ive found anywhere local. Just feel the need to remind/lecture that most supermarket meats *look* red because theyve been force pumped with oxygen or otherwise faked. Just because there are certain cuts at this fresh butcher market that have gone grey, doesnt mean that theyre old or bad, just that they havent been tampered with. I couldnt believe the quality and flavor of their ground beef, more like ground steak!
Its a store that has a lot of good and convinient items as well as very low prices
Nice place to buy Hispanic food.
Love this place the have the best homemade sauce ever about 5 different Flavors
Nice store and the little deli part has amazing food. Very large portions for reasonable prices.
All price are high and expensive compared to other hispanic stores I wish there was a zero star Dont recommend
This is a great international market that caters to the Latino community. When I was there, I noticed they had an entire aisle of drinks, some were refrigerated and others werent. They had a great variety of food items.
I always find what Im looking for!
Exelent hispanic market. When to get some tamales and atole de avena 10☆ for tamales but no so much for the atole it wasnt thick enogh. Good people working there tho.
Super expensive market. Maryland Department of agriculture should take a look at their overpriced items.Stay away from this market.
Small but nice can pretty much find everything you want. But needs to work on the meat department. meat and fish dont look fresh
Great selection of hard to get Latino ingredients. Really good prices.I also really recommend the chicharrónes (deep fried pork fat. Yum!)
Well kept shop for those last minute pickups that I know Giant wouldnt have. Like oxtails, or goat!!! Reasonably priced for my Caribbean needs.
WHY IS THIS THE ONLY PLACE THAT HAS FRESH RED AND GREEN CHILES
Workers are extremely friendly but the prices are extremely high. They figure because of imported goods...but honestly I can get a avocado for .89 cents or cheaper at a regular store rather paying 1.99 at this store. By the way, I thought avocados were grown in California.
If you are looking for fresh ingredients, and the traditional market feeling this is the place.
Great Latino market with many different items and a diverse clientele. Will keep going when I get a craving for items from Mexico and Latin America.
Very good the tortas and tacos were great and also produce is good too.
Please, dont mis out, Latin food is not all about hot spicy food, more about noon process fresh ingredients, I LOVE JALAPEÑOS!! Is very healthy to eat nopales, papaya, berros, (watercress) fresh uncooked beans, etc.etc.I highly recommend JALAPEÑOS!!!!
Very you can find all the food do you wanted
Lots of great products
Has a good variety of Spanish spices. I wouldnt buy anything else there besides dry goods even thats questionable since they dont seem to practice rotating food the young men behing the meat and conssion counters didnt seem like they wanted to serve people. All of the tortillas I got from the freezer were bad. I dont think they practice first in first out. Or maybe I just happen to go in on a bad day I dunno. Its always hard to find a good clean Spanish store and I was hoping this one was. Dont let my last name full you I am of Spanish descent and I was very upset I had to go to Walmart to get my stuff for empanadas.
This market is one of the best markets in the area. They have great selections of products including fresh produce, fruits, meat, baked goods, pre cooked meals, national and international cooking products etc. They even have a food truck outside that every time I passed by I see these yummy looking roasted chicken (note to self: I still got to try it) anyway back to my review. The people working here are extremely helpful and nice. Theres always someone walking around if you need help finding certain stuff. Place is always clean and kind of busy at times because prices are fairly affordable; and the capacious of the parking lot is just perfect! I am a fan of this market! My family and I love it!
Very nice little market. Many items used by & for the Hispanic community.
Vegetables are always fresh, meat counter and cheese counter is great. Always great service. Good selection of Latino foods.
I like this market. Wish I could find more of the items I was looking for.
Love this place where I get my sons pinata
Authentic Mexican Products!
Can find anything you need here! for Mexican dishes and other latin american dishes too! they have a great spread of Mexican candy which is awesome because before i found this place i use to have to drive down to Riverdale.
The best place to go to buy authentic latino products. Friendly staff, great selection and conveniently located on Ritchie HWY
This is a market for all Spanish foods. They have pinatas which I bought one for my birthday. I also go here regularly for their vegetables to make salsa. They are the only place yo have the serrano peppers i use. They dont speak alot of English but it doesnt bother me. I dont speak alot of Spanish lol so were even lol
The most organized grocery store I ever been too. Super fresh!!
I love the atmosphere.
Very nice
Excellent market with a large selection of Hispanic foods, with fresh vegetables and a great selection of butcher quality meats. Always purchase our Carne Asada here.
Great place to get Hispanic items. Great candy too.

Jalapeños Latin Grocery Market is the only Latino store left in the Glen burnie area. But 9/10 times youll find what you need such as Goya ingredients, Mexican, Salvadorean beans, Candles, Fresh fried pork skins. On Saturdays they serve Carnitas cooked early on Saturday morning like 4 am to be ready around 8:30-9 am. You can also wire money around the world here. It accepts all major credit cards, including debit.
Jalapenos gives you the feeling of an old town market. They have a wonderful meat department with very good produce
It is an excellent place to buy fresh Hispanic produce.
They have a great food truck outside and an interesting selection of food inside. Try it out.
Awesome freshly made salsa, clean, helpful staff
