This is an old school comics shop for new comers and collectors alike. He has a mixture of new, bronze, silver, and gold era comics, and the best supply of archival materials I have seen in recent times. If you are a comics enthusiast, its a store worth checking out!

This place gives you something that other comic book stores try to give you..... authenticity. There are people here that dont put on a face for your business and in the best way, you can really feel that. Other stores are literally down your throat and thirsty for your money and will pretty much chase you down to get it. At the end of the day, I enjoy the atmosphere here, keep it up.

This is the kinda of comics store that comic readers love! They have tons of back issues from 70s to present. They have a great selection of key issues at reasonable prices. They know their stuff, and can talk about the books, the industry, just a really good source of knowledge. I wish more comic book stores were like this... Which is why I love going to Twilite Zone!

Having been out of the whole comic scene for a long time (about 30 years), it is a nice fresh breath of air to come to this place. Im slowly getting back into it thanks to my son who has an interest. Overall, the staff is very cool and knowledgeable, the store is quite organized, and the vibe is just right. I like this place. I have to seriously limit myself, I could easily blow some pennies in this place! Great spot, I like it here a lot.

I’m new to comic books and always had a lot of questions where to start with Batman. Found this place online sonwenr and took a visit and have been there twice. Both times they have took time to walk me around the store and show me a lot of Batman stuff and explain to me what it’s all about and why it would be good for me to read. They are awesome here and wish I could give 10 stars because I would. This will be the only place I buy comic books for sure. Thank you for the great service.

First of all I dont collect comics, but I do collect material that will fit into poly bags/plastic sheets/sleeves etc. so I went to the store to see if they carry anything to help. What a surprise, they did and at better prices than the regular on-line store I use. I bought the backers and the sleeves and the correct size boxes to hold them all. Also after buying what I needed the person who helped me offered to carry it all out to my car, and he wouldnt take a tip. I think his name was Ron or Ronnie? Believe me when I say I will be back for all my storage needs. Richard G.

Absolutely love this comic shop. The owner is very nice and always speaks to my children and offers them free comics books that they are interested in. He has great prices and tons of comics in addition to a few collectables. If I lived closer, I would shop here weekly.

This is the best comic store around. I have been going here for years and will not go anywhere else. IMO, way better than the bigger chain stores & Bumper the owner is always willing to work deals with the customers. My kids love going here as well & frequently ask to go. RON

Theres nothing limited about this comic book shop. Theres always outstanding service. Im always able to find what Im looking for and if I cant find it then they are always willing to order it for me. Ive never had a problem trying to walk around the shop everything is always put neatly in place the only time Ive seeing boxes laying around is when they are unpacking new comic books

Classic old school comic book shop. No glitz focus on books and back issues. Great advice from staff on selections.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that they answered my questions about particular titles and didnt give the standard snarky comic book guy answers that Ive gotten at other stores in the Baltimore area. I brought my 4 year old with me on one trip, and they hooked her up with some free kid stuff from the comic book companies (a few Robin temp tattoos ect.). Made her day.The thing I like the best about this store, is the full runs of stories that are bundled together for sale. Its such a pain when you can only find(for example) #1, 3 and 5 of a six book run of a particular title. They have a whole rack of complete runs, all bound together, and at a fair price for the set.Also, the selection of select graded comics is awesome. Love the store, love the employees, and Im making it a bi-weekly stop for my kids and I.

I went into the store today and at first I did not know what to make of it. I was able to quickly locate the latest issue of the Walking Dead since the one I had purchase earlier at my favorite comic shop in Parkville was ruined by my own negligence. Being stoked about finding the book, I started talking to the young man, Ronnie, behind the register. He was very friendly and positive. He was very knowledgeable about comic books and comic trends. His opinions were valid and opened up my eyes to some things I never considered. I really enjoyed my time talking to him and I found some key issues for very reasonable prices. I would definitely come here again. I would highly recommend this store for serious comic book collectors.

Great place

I went into this shop today not really know what to expect. I have never been in a comic book store before but my friend recently turned me on to The Walking Dead. When I entered I got a nice greeting from the owner, Bumper. I was looking for Hardcover Book 6 of The Walking Dead which they unfortunately did not have. However, I knew of another comic I was looking for called Preacher and bumper was nice enough to help be find the first two books and also hooked me up with a couple of free issues of Wanted and Irredeemable.Ill be going back.

Somewhat limited selection of titles. They have a good selection of back issues from the last few decades, but not as many from within the last year. Will mark up prices within a week of a titles release once their stock runs low. Sometimes is difficult to walk around due to boxes being in random places in their small location.

I have been shopping here for about a year and half now and have taken the time to go to other shops when Twilight Zone didnt have a particular book I wanted, often at the recommendation of the owner of Twilight Zone. Thats the kind of people Bumper and Ronnie are. They know comics mean a lot to the customers and them too, and have no problem calling up other shops to see if a book is available elsewhere. On several occassion, Bumper has even went to the other shop for me. Twilight Zone easily has the best prices available of the 5 or so shops I have visited in the Baltimore area.Dont be afraid to haggle on collectors issues with these guys either. They dont follow Overstreet, and tend to sell books for what they are worth, not what the pricing book says they should cost. If your new, ask Ronnie or Bumper for recommendations, they know how to pick something toward your tastes. Most likely they will give you a free book and if you dont like what you buy, no problem, bring it back for a full refund or exchange. Also dont forget to checkout the large stock of 1/2 off trades.They have a great stock of collectors comics, which is easily the best in the area.Yes they are cluttered a bit due to the size of the store, but just ask a clerk, they can point you to the right box.My only real complaint with this store is I always have to free up a good bit of my time before I go in to compenstate for the long conversations I always gleefully get roped into. I have burnt more than one dinner while talking to these guysand other customers. They talk like adults, but becomes very PG13 when the kids are present. They know my name when I walk in, they know what type of books I collect, and are always ready to let me know if anything new comes in and places it in my reserve box incase I am interested.This is truly a great comic shop that knows how to appeal to the serious comic enthusiest, and treats the new guy collecting for the first time with equal respect. Its not about the money, its about the mutual love of comics.
