Space and efficiency come to mind while shopping at this Whole Foods location. Watching this whole store operation is like observing a well oiled machine. I like how all the departments are organized. Practically everything related to healthy food and wellness can be found here. Even outdoor shaded seating is available here. I enjoy visiting this store!

This a grocery boutique, filled with all manner of natural and organic products. Im more of a Food Lion guy and the prices here are staggering. Still, I found some Tulsi tea Id been craving and the staff is very friendly--especially at the seafood counter.

Love Whole foods. Do you know they sell water? No, not water in bottles. You can refill your 5 gallon bottles with beautiful water. 3 different types. I love the reverse osmosis and de-ionized. They also have 25% discount on supplements from 09/11 - 09/13. Hurry!!!

Found what I needed. Helpful, friendly staff. She showed me how to use the Amazon app to get the sale price on store items. Many self check out stations. The Amazon lockers are extremely to the exit at the end of the checkout area.

I love this Whole Foods location. In fact, I will drive 20 minutes past the new location that is a couple of blocks from my home in order to go here.I mostly order pizza from Whole Foods (I don’t typically do my regular shopping here) but in my experience everyone I speak with on the phone is professional and polite, they have never messed up my order that I can recall, and the store is clean and pleasant.

Fish department always good to visit and get good feedback. They just labeled my shrimp wrong which delayed my time and others at checkout.

Its really nice with great options. Cashier was a bit rude which is unusual for this particular store. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. Im sure that we will visit the store again while we are on a vacation.

Did not shop for groceries here on this trip. Used their Amazon return location to return faulty merchandise. Did not need to wrap or run label. In and out under 5 minutes. They have a large Amazon pick up center. Store clean.. Produce looked great.

Today WF eliminated all the express lanes. They’ve installed new self checkout which are not activated.What school of business management did they people attend? It just follows suit with their decision to let the prime p/up shoppers, Door Dash & Instacart take over the floor space pushing the in store shoppers aside , you know the ones who spend the most! Amazon has ruined this business & they didn’t lower pricesSo what do you receive for inflated prices? A large degree of agrivation.

Great place to be at a great location near junctiin of west broad and I 64.Store was busy, accept Amazon prime orders. Bread section could have been a little bit more clean. Ouside of that if you want to buy good healthy food, this is the place to be. Health vs money, well health is more important

Definitely not the same quality of store as b4 Amazon’s acquisition. No salad bar, difficult returns, rude door dash people , prime pick up carts. The employees who were there before Acquisition And a few specialty items are the only reason I go, and very infrequently at that.You’re better off at Walmart where atLeast the Prices are lower and the customer service is what you would expect there.

This store is super busy and crowded all the time. Prices are very expensive. The staff are actually very friendly but the folks who shop the come across as snobby. Parking is horrible.

Big selection, but shoppers all seem ready to cut you off at the knees. Too many people there today, so I cut our visit short. But not before getting bowled over in the aisles twice and almost getting run over in the parking lot.

This is a PSA to make sure everybody knows you can get a large cheese pizza for $6 on Fridays if youre a prime member. Great pizza! Someday Ill try one of their tomahawk steaks. Great store if you like paying $12 for a jug of orange juice.

I really like going to Whole Foods but this one that workers that are in the cook food departments are horrible and stuck up. Especially the cooks in the pizza department are rude, condescending, and evil. They make fun of customers and do not treat the customers fairly. Everyone else in the store is great, the cashiers and managers are wonderful. But I do not think I will be able to go to this whole foods anymore. I do not want to be embarrassed by men who are trying to feel good about themselves by putting down a woman.

As a vegan, I love whole foods because they have a wider variety of vegan options. The hot bar and bakery always has great options to choose from.

This is a great store for organic shopping. The made to order foods are delicious. The sales staff is awesome.

Face coverings and or masks are not enforced. Been customers long before Amazon purchased Whole Foods.Both Trader Joe’s and Fresh Market are enforcing this policy with an individual standing outside to great you.I called the store direct after shopping this last time. Many with out face coverings and not keeping social distance.Upon calling, after shopping the female put me on hold for several minutes after I asked is there a mandatory face covering in place at the Short pump location in VA. On hold for several minutes I called back and and said I would’ve rather heard that you’re not enforcing the policy any more then keeping me hanging on hold. No customer service at Short Pump location representing Whole Foods and Amazon and shame on them for either not enforcing policy or at least telling customers one is no longer expected to wear a face covering and respect social distancing food shopping with this pandemic. If this done, Then, an individuals right to chose not to go in because not a safe place to shop, much less purchase unwrapped fruits, vegetables and things in bins. And Whole Foods as a company now does not have customer service contact info readily available.Praising companies like Trader Joe’s....

Ive been buying Cheese cakes from this bakery for 6 Years . I normally receive Awesome customer service. On my last Visit this was not the case. I stood at the bakery for 8 minutes and watched the two associates have a conversation that was not work related. It took deep eye stares down for the tall Male associate to come over . Then he greeted me with a Yes. As if I was bothering him . I asked for a plain cheese cake he gave me an attitude about it . Then asked one of the other workers to go get me a frozen one .

Terrible experience, all employees were busy filling online orders, the one person I asked for help didnt speak English and pointed Ask him! I asked another guy who had no idea so sent me on a useless quest, went to customer service and was ignored. I walked out

Very nice and clean store. Ive order there Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners every year, there food is really good the Turkey is very moist. The Corn souffle is really good. This has been a great choice to select Whole Foods to prepare my dinners each year. Love it

This was my first visit to this particular store and I plan on returning again. I found all the organic items I was looking for and some I wasnt looking for. There selection of organic items is extensive so you can definitely find whatever you need here. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy organic products.

Have you ever wondered what WF staff has been heavily spraying on shopping baskets and carts? It is J-512 sanitizer, registered with EPA as pesticide, per the MSDS obtained in the store. This toxic chemical comes in contact with your food and skin. Its unhealthy vapors are inhaled by WH workers and customers. And this is all done without due warning and informed consent! How well is this going along with WHs communicated philosophy of living and eating healthy? What a hypocrisy!..

I love Whole Foods but I assume whole food in short pump is poorly managed. Often times they are completely out of most produce. You are better off going to Trader Joe’s or even Wal Mart.

I have visited this store many times. Most time I have good shopping experience. Staff are always kind and helpful. However, tonight I had not good experience. I bought the Honest T drinks due to the BOGO promotion. What I didnt know is BOGO promotion needs to scan the coupon code which was on the label and hooked on the lid of the bottle.(There is no sign to explain it)So I bought 6 and 2 of them were with the promotion labels. The cashier didnt scan the promotion code at first, then I checked with him, he then scanned it (2 labels). However, he didnt remind me that only 2 set of BOGO. I asked him again then he said he only saw 2 coupons. Then I asked if he can re-scan the coupon since I guessed it could be the same code sometime. He said no and just stood there watching me like I were a difficult customer. Finally, I went back to take another label from the other label by myself. Honestly, its not a big problem for me though I didnt tip cashier. But In WF, this high-level brand, I do expect the staff could provide any suggestion instead of just watching me with the impatient attitude. Also, how many customers thought they got BOGO promotion but not since the cashier would not remind them BOGO only happened when they picked up the right bottle which has a label on it??

I like the store so this review is about the bartender at the short pump location. New Years Eve around 5. The bar was somewhat busy so I decided to sit at a table. I wanted to pay for hot bar items and get a glass of wine. After standing at the end and him not approaching I squeezed in between patrons to order. I asked if they had a red by glass he said a few and gave me a list. He took my food to ring up and when I ordered a glass of cab with a please in asking he just stared dead at me with no response. It seemed hostile. I paid and I would have tipped but not after him so obviously having a problem. I asked about a fork. Same stare of contempt. He was very chatty and friendly with his obvious regulars. Never again will I visit the bar which is a shame bc they have a lot of decent beer.

Great Whole Foods location and a super well organized pickup spot for anyone delivering with Amazon Flex. The staff is friendly and literally everyone is knowledgeable about anything you could ask so props to them for having a great team.

Love the set up and all the fresh produce and organic products throughout the store, even wine. Great selection of sulfite-free, organic wine. Cooking with whole foods products makes you feel like youre eating in a gourmet restaurant. Bon appétit.

What a happening fabulous Whole Foods. Ive been to so many..and believe it or not there are some really frumpy ones. This one is super nice and clean well organized. Would definitely visit this one again. I didnt notice however if you guys had a Kids Club program? Hopefully all locations offer this program.

I used to love this place. I used to buy my meat and produce here, and I loved the bar. I really really tried to keep an open mind but since Amazon bought Whole Foods, the quality has slowly declined. We find our produce getting moldy very quickly these days, for example. The bar is still good, but the prices have gone up quite a bit, and the portions have gone down. Im getting to the point that I wont be shopping here anymore. ...Oh, but two stars because the pizza is still one of the best in Richmond!

I just left Whole Foods in Short Pump. I was followed around the store by one of their employees until I turned down the isle I was looking for. I didnt do anything suspicious to make them think I was doing anything wrong. Once, I get to the checkout the cashier looked like she barely wanted to look or speak to me but was ecstatic to speak the the customer before or after me. Its crazy because wouldnt expect this from Whole Foods.

Becoming less and less enchanted with this place. Very expensive. Used to buy the cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto and provolone. For some reason they dont carry them anymore. No reason to drive 20 miles.

We both agree that weve never encountered anyone so excited to talk about cheese. She always makes great recommendations and has great descriptions before we even taste (Which she always offers). I have to say I order the Thanksgiving dinner it was 175$ but it was so good we agreed next year to do it again.... I order smoke apple turkey with enough side for 8 people but Im 100% I could have feed 11 people with all the food. We following instruction, it safe us a lot time and everyone could not believe we order dinner instead doing the chaotic situation of every year . Thanks you whole food for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and instead of been cooking all day we where all drinking watching tv whole oven took care of everything

Whole Foods has a wide selection of groceries, so it is easy to find whatever you need. Its even better if you have Amazon Prime, because there are discounts all over the store for members. Only thing that could be better is their signs are a little hard to see. But thats trivial. Additionally, a fun activity to do with kids is a fresh orange squeezer near the front door. Your kids can squeeze the oranges, and you can buy the orange juice made from it. However, if youre more into junk food, try elsewhere because this store is more for health food. Also, if you arent concerned with health, another place might be better because there are lower prices. However, in my opinion this is a spectacular store. Highly recommend.

This Whole Foods has a great layout and assortment of items, but compared to others Ive been in it is lacking heavily in a few areas. For one, they are almost always out of stock when it comes to things like peppers or cucumbers, the bread is usually still frozen or wet from defrosting, and there are almost no great meats (Stage 4+).However, the seafood selection is amazing and the staff is always, always super friendly. And the little food / beer section is a nice addition that I havent seen in other locations, definitely makes it a fun experience.

Never shopped here for groceries so thats the reason for 3 stars instead of less but I met a friend here for lunch while she was back in Richmond after moving to Jersey. Just had a salad from the food bar and yes its pay by weight so my fault but seriously, $13 for a very moderately portioned salad... geez. Didnt taste any better than any other salad in my opinion.

It is one of the bulk food stores. It is good for its package free food. How ever I am looking for soy milk in a glass bottle just like Homestead whole milk which is not available. Soy milk is available in tetra packs which is not preferred to recycle ♻️. I wish whole food will start this change. I wish store can keep more of vegetable bags, grain bags (tote bags) available in store and some kind of discount to the people using their own bags and containers and not taking plastic bags. It encourages people to be eco friendly. I like the idea of recycle that Whole Foods is providing. I wish the store makes some changes towards plastic free groceries. Bread is available in plastic wrapped. This should be changed.
