Nissan of Gilroy gave me a great price on the lease buyout of my 2018 Leaf (the safety inspection fee). It was the most competitive price in the Bay Area. Would highly recommend using them. The buyout process was made very easy, which I much appreciated. The new facility is great and very easy to get to from San Jose. I’ll plan on using them for future services. Good job guys.

We will be back for our next Nissan, the service level was just outstanding from each area, and we really felt cared for from start to finish in our lease end experience. My lease on my 2018 leaf was expiring this month and I was looking at buying it out. Contractually my obligation was supposed to be 300$ to acquire the vehicle out right. I inquired by email to all the bay area Nissan dealers and drove to a couple of them. Imagine my surprise when the various dealerships asked for $1000 inspections or dealer fees to go through the process. One dealership asked for a $1200 dealership fee while another said they had to charge me for a 4 hour inspection (at $250 per hour). These numbers were on top of the contractual 300$. Meanwhile, Nissan of Gilroy (Brian) got back to me and told me that they would do the paper work for the stated $300 (plus various relatively small fees: titles, paper prep) in addition to a $190 (1 hour) inspection. It sounded too good to be true but I went through the process with them yesterday and it was painless and with no surprises. I literally saved $1500 on my lease buyout (quoted OTD price) by going with Nissan of Gilroy instead of my nearby San Jose dealership. I know where Im going first for my next Nissan.

Do not service your Nissan here. The service manager Cory up charges you and adds repairs you dont need while telling you its better you do it. Had a repair where they charged almost double the amount 2 other Nissan dealerships said the repairs would cost. Had to tow in my truck so couldnt take it to another dealership. Also had an appointment to repair my truck before it died on the road, took them a week before the looked at my truck. Worst service repair Ive ever had. Nidsan.com has a 10% off parts and labor, Cory said he doesnt know anything about the coupon refused to honor the coupon. I bought the truck at Gilroy Nissan will never buy anything from them or get service from them ever.

I bought out my leased car at Nissan of Gilroy. Mario Sosa Castaneda worked out a competitive quote and we were able to align on the pricing over email before hand. Mario did not create any pressure nor did he force down anything that did not make sense for my situation. I had no surprises when I closed the transaction at the dealership. I was able to complete the transaction and was out of the place in less than 1.5 hrs. The staff was very polite and welcoming. I would definitely be coming back for my next car! All I can say is “wow”. I leased a vehicle from here in December of 2019 and have continued to come here for service and maintenance. From my first interaction with them during the purchase of the vehicle to my routine appointments for service, Brian and the team have gone 200% of the way to make sure I had the absolute best experience possible. I ran into some minor issues having my car serviced this week and Brian personally saw to it that my needs were met and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Had very good experience. I didnt feel pressured and received good info about the options of vehicles. Only issue was that the car needed to be smogged after I purchased the car, so I had an appointment at 10am and it took over an hour to get out of there. Should have only taken 15 minutes. They were not busy either.

The ONLY downside is that the dealership in Santa Cruz closed and now I have to travel to Gilroy or San Jose to have my car worked on. I went to Gilroy for the first time Saturday and everyone was nice and professional and obviously trained to prevent the spread of COVID-19. So I had to sit for two hours, but I was pleasantly surprised to find Im still under a service agreement! Will return for all my cars needs.

Fast service. In and out in less than an hour. I brought my car for an oil change and a remote key not working. Also to check the passenger seat belt warning light. They only took care of the oil change. Reprogramming the key was $150.00 and $190.00 to diagnose the seatbelt! Extended warranty expired on 4/20/2020 and that may have not covered it either. Interesting how things start to fail once warranty expires. They performed their multipoint inspection as usual but didnt wash the car this time around which was a bit disappointing.

Customer service is always great. I take my vehicle in for servicing regularly. I was hesitate to take it in, especially during this COVID global pandemic. Social distancing maintained with markings on floor and walls, plastic shields are up to prevent spread, all employees wore facial coverings. There was a spot marked drop your keys here for minimal contact.

I went to the Service Department to get my car serviced and they did a very great job. We were helped by Macos Salazar. He was honest with us about what our car needed an he also got a shuttle ride home while they worked on our car also a shuttle ride back to the Dealership so we could pick up our car. We were also helped by Matthew who shuttled us to and from the Dealership and also washed our car. We are very grateful for their superb helpfulness.

They could have inspected my check engine light, the reason I was there was for this. It just happened to be that the vehicle was very close to the 5K tire rotation/oil change but the PRIMARY REASON for my visit was noted on my service request as filled out on line. Turns out the check engine light went off a couple days before the appointment so the technician never checked it! After the oil change, and while driving home, the light reappeared!! Most annoying and when I checked the code it posted an O2 sensor issue.. Now Im returning for a second round of wasting my day due to the lack of follow through and diligence that I would normally expect to receive from a company that I have been most pleased with in the past.. Not so sure now about my choice of auto purchase if this is the level of service that Nissan is going to be providing in the future.. BTW- 2 hours to rotate tires and perform an oil change is excessive, this should take no more than about 30 minutes to an hour including the other inspections. Remember, the more people I tell about my experience the more negatively it reflects on Nissan. Trust me, this is not the kind of reputation you want to have and this should be addressed as soon as possible. Hell, you can have the CEO of the company contact me directly if hed like. Id be happy to tell him how he can improve his operation to better serve his clients..I am not kidding, have him/her give me a call!!

These guys were supposed to take care of a recall on the airbags in my Versa. They cancelled on me once, then when I took my car in for the rescheduled appointment, they called me and said they could only get one airbag in because they didnt have the other one and had to order it. They said theyd call me to install the second airbag and never did (over a month now). They did make sure to leave me a list of things to fix on my car, which Ill take care of, but not with them. They also told me my oil was low. I had just received an oil change the weekend before; my oil was good. They basically avoided fixing the recall and tried to make some money off of me.

We were working with Berenice on options to purchase a Nissan Rogue, she took the time to listen and understand our requirements and while they didnt have the model and configuration I was looking for, there was no hard sell to take another model. The absolutely best service experience of my life! Tricia in the service department saved me from being a stranded traveler. I was driving through Gilroy on a tight schedule to make a business presentation in San Francisco. Suddenly I heard a terrible sound as if the bottom of my car was scraping on the highway. I was alarmed, as much by the prospect of missing my meeting in San Francisco as I was about the potential problem with my car. Feeling desperate about missing my meeting I went straight to Nissan of Gilroy. Tricia was incredible - professional, gracious, and understanding of my situation. They were busy, but she fit me in at the first available moment, and got me back on the road so quickly I was amazed. I’ve been a devout Nissan owner for 30 years. When I’m ready for my next one, I’ll be driving an extra couple of hours to deal with Nissan of Gilroy. Any business that treats someone the way I was treated is a place I trust to do right by me.

Let me tell you a short story. My wife of 46 years purchased a 2015 Sentra in 2017 from Nissan of Gilroy. She purchased an extended warranty at the time. Unfortunately she passed away May 2019. A couple of small things came up with the car. I took it to the same dealership and they have taken care of me. Nothing but great service. If there were ten stars I would give it to them. I would not recommend this place for any service. I took my car in a year ago to have its cruise control fixed as all it does is turn on the horn. I decided not to have it fixed at that time. A few weeks ago my car would not turn on so i brought it in. The starting issue was fixed because of a recall but the cruise control was another story. After they did their tests they said I needed a new part. I told them i brought it in to them a year or so ago and they said it was a short. I was told the part would probably fix it. After they ordered the part and it arrived 6 days later they installed it. During this entire time I was the one who made effort to contact them. I was never contacted unless i made the first step. After the part was installed i was informed that it did not resolve the issue and I still needed to pay for the part and inspection even though it was their recommendation.Horrible customer service

The team at the Nissan of Gilroy location is wonderful: friendly, skilled, thorough, and efficient.I do have to drive over from Aptos as the Santa Cruz location is currently closed, but the drive is beautiful, and once I get here and get checked in, your customer waiting area is very nice. The time sped by. Good coffee, fun TV show to watch (The View was on, and then the news), and the team replaced the 4 tires on my sons car and even were able to beat the price they originally quoted me! I love, love, love that the team washes the car before returning it to me too. There is SO much pollen in the air, and Zacs car is parked outside here at home, so it gets covered.Your team is the greatest, and I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Buyer Beware! Price of car negotiated for (with Ali and Mario) will be changed when contract finalized with Emilio in the darkened room with the big glaring lighted table. Prices, add-ons, terms and conditions were altered in the managers room. We called early the next day to state there was a price mistake and response was too late, too bad, you signed contract. Bait and switch. Will never come here again to Gilroy Fraud of Nissan.
