Bought 2 pairs of shoes. They were helpful and had lots to choose from. Prices were better than Amazon.

Best Big 5 I’ve ever been to. The staff was very helpful and got me everything I needed. I had a list of what I needed when I came in and walked out 10 minutes later with everything on my list crossed off. 👌🏼

I didnt find anything today but it wont stop me from going again.

First, the store is difficult to see from the road especially going over the railroad tracks Northbound on Val Vista. I went in the afternoon and took me about an extra hour just fine my shoes especially since some employees were not really helpful otherwise thanks for staying open. Hopefully next time will be better

Staff was helpful and friendly, but Big5 charges an extra fee (something like 4 or 5 dollars--not insignificant) for getting a fishing license here. Recommend going somewhere else to get a license.

This location is great found a backpack that I wanted and it had a old sale tag on it and they honored it an older gentleman with white hair helped me definitely will be back.

I already knew what I wanted to purchase from the Big 5 paper ads. The clerk in the sporting rifles department was very good. He was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. However, the clerk in the shoe department was terrible. He walked past me once so I flagged him down the second time he tried to ignore me. I told him what shoe and size I wanted and when he brought them out from the back room he handed me the box without stopping on his way to help, no one else. It was bizarre. He was always on the go but helping nobody. I actually wanted to buy another pair of shoes but couldnt catch up with this guy again. There were two other customers looking at shoes and he wasnt helping them either. The entire shoe department is too small. When I tried on my shoes, the seats are surrounded by displays and people are brushing past making you, me, feel like youre in the way and imposing upon shoppers. I will say this, it wasnt horrible. Just the way it is shopping 2 days after Christmas.Note: I do like the shoes and the price was very good.

Called on the phone gal was very nice said they have a few shirts but not many that little logos on them! So we made the trip to make sure we checked ourselves. Thank goodness we did as we found one that was way better than everywhere else and even better was on sale for $6 bucks! Can’t beat it, they have lots of sporting good options, I checked out their fishing section and also out door camping equipment.

I am always amazed. Such a small footprint store, but often has the item I want when larger sports store farther away does not.

One person behind the register three other people hanging around the register talking to the girl I walk in they say hello. I look at the ad I said, I was wondering if you have this in a size wide. To the guys look at each other and finally the one guy decides to help as Im back there. He brings out the one shoe and then he leaves. I look hes back at the front talking with other people. So no one else in the store. So I yell. How about another pair? He shows up just me my other pair and walks back to the front.

Kinda seemed like I was an inconvenience for staff. Not busy at all but still waited to see something. Stood at counter long ti me e, wondering if someone was going to wait on me, even though they saw me Probably will go elsewhere next time.

Its usually not overly busy and the employees are quick to help. The have a decent selection but not of course as much as the big sporting goods stores. If youre looking for a bargain price they due have them from time to time. Often they run a little higher but the convenience and lack of crowds I appreciate. If you get on their email list you can find out whats on sale and get coupons and other incentives. All in, I think is a place to checkout.

Went to this store to pick up items that the website said they had in stock. The counter girl had no clue where anything was. She had me ask the manager and he didnt know where a couple items were either. The items I went there for were either gone or not what was shown online. I wound up finding the item I did buy on my own. Which was a wallet that showed $6.99 online and it had a clearance tag on it also in- store for $6.99... when I looked at my receipt while driving I noticed they charged me full price at $9.99!If Big5 would like to see how a store SHOULD be managed give me a call. This was ridiculous!

The sales are great! Plus, you can usually find a coupon that you can combine with the sale price. Unfortunately, their regular prices arent that good.

Initial customer service was fine by the young lady behind the counter up front. The manager was not very friendly. I asked about ping pong tables, sales. His answer seemed short, matter of fact. I was not happy, it was more of how he answered my questions then what he said. When someone is asking questions about a product, suggest being more friendly, symphethic to the customer who is trying to make a purchase at a good price/value.

I shopped for a new pair of tennis shoes. The young man who waited on me was extremely helpful. Found the right ones at a great price!

My daughter went home from our house and didn’t have her son try on his baseball pants. I had put them on him and they were way to big. I had no receipt he pulled the tags off and they still took them back. They were very helpful as well.

Big 5 is a good place to get almost everything you need for sports. The staff some times act like you are not there but if you ask them questions they are willing to help. Just not a big select at this store but it still is a good place to get what ever you are missing or needing.

Cant go wrong with Big 5, especially if youre on their mailing list and get the coupons. I just saved 30% on my sons shoes.

Another great purchase, soccer cleats are not the easiest to buy, since not a whole lot of stores carry a large variety. Employee was very helpful, price was awesome even less than online, convenient location.

The sales person was helpful and helping me get prices on equipment. They asked if i needed help (attentive).

I found what I needed but, customer service is the worst. I was looking for shoes. The rep asked if I needed help. Answered 1 question then, be walked off. He walked past me 3 times until I called him over for another question. He stood there with a mouth full of chips and one in his hand, answered and walked off again.
