We had a great experience looking for a bedroom furniture set. Unfortunately, the other furniture stores we went looked at, the furniture was so cheaply made and not solid wood. At Norwood Furniture we found exactly what we were looking for. We even found a couple more hard to find items like a custom small round dining table and a reclining massage chair. I recently moved to the area and this was my sixth store to visit as I searched for furnishings for my new condo. She is an outstanding interior designer. She quickly grasped what I was looking for and guided me to things that quickly became my “must haves”. After having an absolutely horrible experience at another furniture store, we found Norwood Furniture online. I recently visited Norwood furniture in Gilbert. My first visit I met Melanie she was very friendly and very helpful. I am building a new home and needed a new great room kitchen/dining room table. She introduced me to the Canadel line. I was looking for a long, wood, farmhouse style table set. I returned with my husband to look again and met Hazelyn. She also was very friendly and helpful. She helped us design our talent set. While doing so she was able to give us pictures of what our future set would look like as well as being able to see different sets on the floor. She was very knowledgeable about the designs and what she felt would work well in our space. We purchased the set and look forward to when it will be delivered.

On February 24th we ordered a coffee table and side table with the promise of it being delivered by April 15th (its on our invoice). When the date came and we had not heard from anyone and no tables showed up I called and they said it would be another 2 weeks. I waited and again when no one called and nothing showed I called again and was told 2 more weeks. When it didnt show up again I called and spoke to Shasta again. She said that if we wanted our money back she would call me and let me know IF our tables come in and then we can pay for it again. Ok fine, I get that... But then she offered the refund saying if you dont want it, it wont hurt us. There is a furniture shortage and I know we will sell it no matter what so I know it wont be an issue for us. I was in shock that she basically said our business and their constant inconveniences to us was not her concern nor care. I said fine but Im not sure we will ask for it again since she pretty much made me feel like we were not getting it at all anyway by saying if we even get it in and other things. Then she tried to guilt me into keeping the sale by saying but you want the matching set dont you? based on us trying to find a similar table to things we already owned. I was issued the refund a few days later in mid May. With no other contact until June 25th (almost a month and a half later) when the delivery guy Jim calls to confirm the 9:30 am delivery the next day that he said I had set up with Shasta. Oh and that full price of close to 900$ is due in cash at the delivery. (A total of about 15 hours between the call and delivery) He says Ive been in contact with Shasta this last week and should have bern aware. I looked all over and could not find any email nor phone call. I told him what happened and said Ill have my husband call back about all of this. He said ok. I gave his info to my husband and he called Jim. He directed my husband to a manager who would call him back. This morning she (no name) called and pretty much didnt believe me or my husband that Shasta would say anything like that and then implied that if I was not smart enough to understand her system of fraud when she caught herself and tried to reword what she said mid sentence. No offer to fix anything, sorry you dont understand and pretty much an Im sorry you feel that way but I dont care tone and that was it. I ended the call after that and suggest that no one give these people your time and money Youll only be wasting it.

The showroom is deceivingly large, with many quality furniture options. After several trips to various furniture stores, finding only veneer options, we were pleased to see gorgeous solid wood pieces at Norwood. This quaint furniture store in the heart of Gilbert’s restaurant row has been servicing the furniture needs of the community and beyond for years, a testimony to it’s ability anticipate the home decorating needs over many decades. The sales personnel are attentive but not pushy. Delivery was as seamless. Our furniture had minor upholstery flaws which were handled by a an excellent repair person who visited us at home without a hassle. ‘Hey, Mikey, try ‘em you’ll like ‘em.’

Where do I start... When we bought our bed in October we were told it should be in by the end of December.. that turned into January and finally February... today we got our bed. Its a beautiful bed and I love it, but the service from the sales lady was terrible. Melanie who helped us never called us to give us updates we had to call everytime and then she would call us back. She would say I will call you next week and give you an update once I find out information... but she never called. I had to call her. The wait sucked, but dealing with her was worse. I dont plan to go back and order furniture from there ever again. I dont recommend you going either unless you like waiting 4 months and not getting any service.

There are plenty of furniture stores out there but I feel that Norwood beats them all. They have quality furniture for every price range. Their customer service is beyond reproach. Even there delivery personnel are outstanding. We had Barry and Damian deliver a sectional, a rug, a coffee table and a kitchen table with chairs. They were as particular about condition and placement of everything as my wife is. Extremely helpful, polite, on time and fun to talk to. They made the end of this whole purchasing experience perfect.

We purchased a sofa and loveseat and two ottomans from Norwood. It is beautiful and such great quality. We absolutely love it!! It was just delivered and the movers were super nice and did a great job. We had moved into a new home a month ago and had sold our sectional and our new set from Norwood were not quite ready so they provided us with a loaner sectional until our set was ready. This is a great company to work with and we couldn’t have had a better sales experience than what we had with Mia! Today was our first day shopping in Norwood. The showroom is large and absolutely gorgeous. We met Susan, an interior designer, and she was fabulous. Susan helped us choose a media console as well as order a custom dining set. The furniture here is different. Eclectic. If you wanna add a little bit of that into your decor than if your like me youll be frequenting this place for all your home/styling essentials. These are under the radar type, unique finds. A lot of items makes me think, Scandinavian + remastered vintage and/or retro influenced designs. Its an awesome and refreshing fusion and could add an elegant spunk to your home.

Susan greeted us and after asking us a few questions about our room and our style, she recommended the perfect console.
